I do love this dollar general. The people are a lot nicer than they used to be. The only thing I don’t like is their coupons never work. :/Update 6-21-20 @ 1300.Welp today the girl working int here couldn't tell me precisely where anything was cause she couldn't remove her eyes from the phone. But the lady up front did. She was very nice and attentive.

No one is ever there and they are always closed. If someone is actually there they don't help you and ignore you. Waste of time everytime I've went.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE DG!!! If I could give zero stars I would!They are never open on time in the morning and other days they are not open at 1 in the afternoon.I guess they just openwhenever someone decides to come into work.I don't even bother to waste my time anymore to stop and check.I'll take my business to Family Dollar and Stracks

it is well stocked but 4 employees working yet 1 register open when customer talks to cashier for 10 minutes.3 other employees walking by while line is getting bigger.really slow customer service.will not come back.

Tell me how I came in with a 20 dollar bill, had a total where I would only be getting 3 or 4 dollars back- and yall didn't have any change to give me what I'm owed? You're a company, not some little side hustle. Sad. Angry. Never going to this location again

This store is ridiculous, the new manager is a joke. Rude and doesn't care about this store. Half the time she doesn't open till 12, then blames other ppl for it. I have see her multiple time take things with out paying for them. Or take them out to a car with a older lady. And these things were supposed to be pulled from the floor. Sad excuse for a manager! Store is a mess while she is always on the phone.

This is the worst Dollar General ever. They’re almost never open. Don’t look at the store times and expect to shop when you arrive. Actually, don’t bother wasting the gas.

I choose your store over dollar tree. It's close and convenient for me. I come toPick up the 6 pack of pedigree wet dog food cause that is all he can stomach right now..he just had throat surgery.But need to work on giving the customers their bought items.. had a few times i was missing things. Other than that..you guys are good!...also if they can please keep the 6 pack pedigree cans stocked. Thank you!

Went in today (January 29,2022) at about 1:30 for a few items and as I was walking in I heard a lady complaining. She started to talk louder saying she hated Griffith and couldn't wait to get back to her district and the people here in Griffith were horrible. She was managing for the day because there was a problem with a transaction and she had the key to fix the problem and got nasty with the customer because she wanted to send items back due to digital coupons not working. I have shopped and lived in Griffith for years and never had a problem. The lady should not be any type of management speaking so negativity to the staff and customers. I would have gotten her name but she was dressed in a gray sweatshirt and jeans no name tag present.

Store always closes early now, like hours early. Half the time nothing is stocked and the workers are rude. Just today they closed at 5pm and as I pulled up to ask if they were really closed, the worker laughed at me. Just close this store if this is how it's going to be now. used to be nice there

October 9, 2021. The now time is 7:06pm. You close at 9. There isn’t a sign or anything that says due to anything that you are closed. Not notifying a customer or even given a reason why you are closed. As I stand outside and knock on the door your workers just stare at me and walk past. Some staff you have.

Ive worked here and was not paid for all hours I worked. And management is so terrible I was called into work then I get a text message from the hiring manager asking why I came in to work. Need this to say they need workers but when something goes wrong they automatically blame you when it's clearly the mangers faults.

Bought two bags of egg noodles(made in Brazil) one bag had ants in it. I saved the other bag (unopened) to save for the company that made them. They never responded.

Had a pick up time for 7 PM got food at 7:05 PM drove 2 miles to my hotel. Food was cold one very small cup off dressing for my salad mashed potatoes were very lumpy. Not a good experience.

Its sooo close to home and it is a lot bigger with A LOT more products than any other dollar general I have been to. I'm so glad they opened more stores. Not bad for the first store in Griffith.

New to our neighnoehood . They did a wonderful of fitting the store in and keeping tje area nive looking. Cashiers are pleasant. Product variety is good.

The store is never open I went up there today June 4 at 12:30 PM and there’s a sign on the door close for one hour this place either needs to be open or close down I’m gonna send a complaint to the city of griffith because this is ridiculous not even sure why they have a business license

Whoever was supposed to open the store Thanksgiving day didn’t do the job!! Sign says open on thanksgiving day at 7 and it’s 8am only a blue car parked outside and closed. Get it together and pick a time.

Lady manager spirit isn't very friendly, she tries to act professional but really isn't..she makes couponers feel like we are a bother and not happy about giving us our savings!!

The Cashier put my detergent in the same bag as my food! And once I got home the dish detergent had leaked on the food. Luckily it was can goods.

This is my go to store for essentials and a bit of grocery shopping. They have food to bedding. I love this store.
