PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT UPDATE SINCE MY ORIGINAL REVIEW AND WHY I'M REMOVING 2 STARS!!!!:We loved taking our Goldendoodles to Lucky Dog, and they always did a beautiful job, but over this summer (2023), we tried for weeks to make an appointment with them and left numerous voicemails. Our calls were never returned, which surprised us because they always returned our calls within a short amount of time. We drove by the shop many times during trips into town for various reasons and would see the OPEN sign on, so we knew they were still open and operating. After 6 weeks of calling a couple of times each week and waiting for a return call, we gave up and found another place to take our pups.We don't understand what happened. We were always told that our dogs were good, and they loved having them, so we're assuming they didn't drop us because of bad doggy behavior. It would have been nice to receive an explanation of some kind, though, instead of not returning our calls and basically ignoring our business. We're super disappointed with how this ended, but we wish them well in their business and that they will continue to thrive and be prosperous.Now, here's my original review from 2022: ⬇️⬇️⬇️After moving here to Georgetown from Louisville over the summer, we needed to find a new groomer for our Goldendoodles. I read the reviews for several different places and chose to call Lucky Dog after reading the happy reviews from other customers. Their prices are affordable, and our youngest Goldendoodle was loved on and groomed to perfection, looking very dapper after his appointment. I am so pleased with their services and look forward to using their services for many years to come. If you're looking for a kind and caring groomer who will love your furbaby like their own and do a fabulous grooming job, then look no further because this is the place to bring your pets to. It's definitely worth ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

I have been to a lot of groomers down through the years and this is one of the best!!!! The love and care that is given to our dog is so wonderful!! Our baby boy absolutely loves Tammy.... she's really good at what she does!! She cares and she does everything she can to work with you!! We've been going for a long time now and have never been disappointed!!

Great price and wonderful to work with. Misty comes back good looking each time. The owner also really watches out for the pet. She found problems we weren't watching for and needed treatment at the very. Recommend her 5 stars!

Lanesville Animal Hospital stopped offering grooming services, but recommended that I contact to Lucky Dog and I am glad they did. Tammy got back to me right away and I was able to set up an appointment for the next day. She did a wonderful job on my senior pug. I will absolutely be making Lucky Dog our new grooming home!

Can't imagine taking my fur babies anywhere else! They are both anxious dogs, but they walk right in with Tammy and her team. They come home happy, well groomed, and you can tell they were treated so well. Thank you!

Very unhappy customer. Took my dog here twice because I live in the local area. For the past two months I have been trying to make an appointment for my dog. I have called twice and left messages no returned phone calls. I even had my husband call and they did not return his call either. Really wanted to support this local business but now have to take my business somewhere else.
