I went in for a stupid dishwasher connector, and I couldn't find what I needed. Alicia, Brandon, Ken (?) and another lady helped me so much and wouldn't stop helping until they found what they were looking for. So much help for a $3.70 part. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they didn't actually have the right part. But employee-wise, 5 stars, no question!

I used to love this store but it also gave me the worst experience of my life; apart from having employees who answer you in a bad way, which I always wanted to understand but today a security man stopped my husband and interrogated him, accusing him of stealing without any evidence! And even though my husband asked to speak to the police or to show him the video proving that he did it, the employees and security personnel did not show anything or allow the police to be spoken to; How do you blame, detainee and lock up a person without any hard evidence or the presence of any authority? ! As of today, Menards is banned from our list of stores for materials.

Fantastic store, great help, location is always stocked with what I need, the service is always excellent, great fully staffed and eager employees who want to help you out all of the time. I have always gotten the best help from the entire store. Love the 11% rebate sales that occur from time to time. A+++ 4 stars highly recommended

Never been to the Menards in Griffith, Indiana before. It was a very nice store. I liked the fact that it was one floor only. All the employees we encountered were friendly and very helpful. We bought solar deck lights there. The deck lights we bought are still working good. It is now March and they made it through the freezing weather and snow of northeast Indiana and are still working,

Very friendly and excellent guest service. Very professional Building Meterials department. If you need that special item they will order it for you. My Klearvue kitchen was beautiful. Most advanced kitchen system around.

Had to return carpet to this specific Menards, because their receiving person cut and prepped the wrong carpet, when bringing up the issue and showing the that the carpet was not the same nor was the item number the same as the carpet I actually ordered, we were still charged a 25% "restocking fee" for a mistake that was absolutely at fault of Menards, not us, so you're telling me, hypothetically, if you purposefully give every customer the wrong carpet then charge a 25% restocking fee, you would never have to sell carpet and you would still make money, that would sound like a scam to me, I personally do not trust manards any longer.

On Sunday, November 5th, I was at the store, and sn employee Franco was helping me look for grub killer. He searched throughout the yard, then found some on a top rack, buried behind several boxes. Thank you for the great customer service.

I need to update my experience at the Gary store I visited on Tues, the 16thCarrington F ( account service manager) is amazing!! Always helps us immediately and his knowledge of the store, products and customer service goes above and beyond. Thanks Carrington! Great store & usually has everything I've ever needed for a project or home maintenance. Since this store isn't ginormous, I'm able to go back find new things easily. This location could use some updates & it would be awesome if employees approached customers who looked lost. Aka, me about every other time I'm there. But it's always clean & returns always go smooth.

The Griffith Menards has a nice staff. Very helpful and friendly. But that's where it ends. This store is disheveled. Confusing. Nothing marked, dirty, unorganized. Pallets all over the floor to where you can't get through. It's the worst Menards I've ever been in and I've been to quite a few. Drive the extra 15 minutes to Merrillville or Schereville. Both are much better.

Been a long time Menards customer, this store in Gary has some of the worst carpet cleaners around. Ive rented them three times, two times the machines were faulty, and each time the employees made a big deal about the broken machine not being perfectly clean. I was never able to actually use the carpet cleaner due to the brushes being jammed as soon as I turned it on, just like the first time i rented their product. I'm sorry if i'm in the wrong but i'm not going to take the time to clean a broken machine knowing that i'm going to need to clean the machine that actually works. If a business is going to charge for a product at least make sure the products work before you rent them out. Hoping that the new Menards being built in Griffith IN will have better products. If not the is always lowes and Home Depot. RIP Gary Menards

I am a customer that went to your establishment where they're "professionals " To buy a motor device, After talking to An employee About the advice And the return policy which was not mention about adding Fluids to the device. Which did not work to my satisfaction, the next day i return to the store and was told that i cannot get my money back because I add Fluids to it. I been going to that store for years and never had any experience in that matter, I think that it was unfair and I will have to take my business elsewhere.

I decided to stop by Menards to grab some wood(much better price than most). The young lady( name is Cindy or something with a C.) was working thin the lighting dept. I friend called and asked me to see how much the battery operated lights were. Cindy who wasn't doing anything at the moment ,pointed me in the correct direction. I don't shop at Menards often, but when I do, everyone is very informative and helpful. 10 mins later I found them. I'm just saying, being a guy you know most of us rarely ask for direction.

This particular experience was actually GREAT. Lately we have been very displaced with Menards at this location. This particular time we were helped and everybody was actually kind and polite and didn't treat us like animals. Special thanks to Iris and the security guard for going out of their way 😁.

The staff is friendly yes but some of them when my mom and I ask for help on where something is, they dont know where it is or what it is. They just send us to a random area and my mother is disabled she cant be walking on her feet too long. Plus they need more scooters for ppl with disabilities and They all need more training on what stuff is and where it is.

Rented a rug doctor rented it for 24 hrs and I couldn’t bring back in that time due to family issues but my card is still on file. I get a call telling me that the police will be called if I don’t return the rug doctor smh but you guys still charged my card for another 24 hrs. I will never use this store for anything.

I love this location. However, I did struggle to get the plastic tote containers apart to be able to buy them. Maybe the larger sizes shouldn't be stacked so high. They are heavier than smaller ones.

Today, April 23rd. I was at the Gary, in menards on Ridge Rd between colfax and Calhoun. Had help at the contractor register in ordering the garden soil I needed. Paid for my order. Went in the back to pick up my 8 bags of garden soil. Found a young man name of Bryce who was willing to grab the bags and put them in the trunk of my car. So helpful, and much appreciated

I felt like I have been misled and misused. There is no "In store credit" at Menard store. Service representatives told me to my face that it was, but it is not. I was given an invoice for a $1,500.00 plastic "Garden Tool Shed" but I was left standing at the checkout cashier and embarrassed by the long line of other customers behind me!

After my first visit there I've had nothing but issues... It seems this store doesn't really value customer service, nor apparently direct the front desk help to be at all helpful or considerate. There are a couple decently knowledgeable and helpful staff throughout the store, but go elsewhere if you have any questions (especially if it involves the front desk "customer service").

I love Menards.... My favorite place for home projects, gardening supplies and can even get help when trying to buy creative items for crafting... I have been talked through basic plumbing, cabinetry installation, counter top changing...by their staff.... I have learned a lot and done way more than I ever thought I could...

The general manager Charles and his assistant General manager are terrible with communication with other managers. They way they degrade and humiliate them is insane. I’ve been in the United States Army for 7 years and they hazed me and replaced me the same day after I had a disagreement with the way they speak to employees. After 4 years of never having a negative report on my name they showed me how much they care about their workers.
