I like this place a lot, they are helpful, and kind not a huge selection of fish or live critters but they are decently priced. We get our frozen brine shrimp and blood worms there and they are way cheaper then major retailers. We also buy our dogs knuckle bone treats here, you can get a 2 pack for like $3 and some change plus The girl India was real sweet even hooked me up with some free samples of dog food. I think that was her name sorry if not. Will keep supporting the business though, thank you good luck for many years to come..

The store manager was a wonderful man. He was very helpful and listened to you. He informed me they were the first black owned pet store! The store offers a lot of different types of food for lots of animals. They also have the vaccines for the dogs. So no expensive vet bill! They are growing their inventory and have made it a wonderful place to shop. They have a new repeat customer in me! Come visit and see what I mean! Lets support this local business.

I shopped at ALL PET for the first time and I had an AMAZING experience! The owner was very personable and quite knowledgeable about ALL of the different products and supplies. Ok so I just got a ferret who turns 3 months on the 10th, he's not destructive or anything he's just really clingy and jittery. I'm in class and although it's online, and because I just got him and he's not used to his harness yet, keeping him with me at all times in a way helps considering I've never heard a ferret whimper. Either way, out of 5-6 cities and not being able to find anything for him anywhere was irritating and I was driving to my mom's house and remembered I had seen the store before so I went in...💯💯💯MY go to cause I'm not playing with the prices or the gimmicks at these other stores...THANK YOU!!!

I just love my pet shop they have all kinds of things that you can pick out for your pet's of all kinds 😍😍😍 But their prices can be a bit much.. I mean I can buy the same thing at Jeffrey's catalog in fact some of the vaccines and products they have in there came from Jeffries and Jeffries has a much lower price then they do just saying and also you can go to PetSmart and get most of your supplies there at a lower cost I love the pet shops don't get me wrong but they are in a low rental area where people have not too much money to pay for their pets so I suggest on some of the like their dog food and things they should lower the prices come on now.. because I can find the same kind of dog food that they're selling at a lower price at like family dollar or like I said PetSmart just saying..

Went to check this place out the day after it first opened. They were still missing some stock, they said; but honestly they were so polite and helpful. I just came in to look around and found their prices were lower than the average at most other pet stores & they have a variety of different food and supplies from dog food brands to frozen mice. Staff was friendly. I will definitely be buying my dog food from them from now on. My only disappointment is that they don't sell live fish (or at least they didn't at the time of my visit). Otherwise, I could scratch Hobart/Merrillville pet stores off my list and shop locally. Either way, good to see a local & black owned pet store here in Gary!

This place is AWESOME! The owner, Gary, was very helpful and friendly. He carried my dog food to my car and even apologized for not being able to price like Wal-Mart or Petco... I will pay the little extra ANY TIME to support this locally owned business! Pet friendly too! Great place!

This place is very helpful. Just started up about a year ago and the owner is amazing. They are family and dog friendly!!! They have all kinds of dog food, shots, fish tanks, animal shampoo, good advice etc.

Very nice place in Gary! I'm going to support this place even though I have to change my dog food because the only place that sells it is Petco. They don't even sell the dog food my dog eats at PetSmart. Employees are very accommodating and friendly.
