Im travelling all over the country for many years now, & i can say this! Its way worst hotels, including big guys like holiday inn, Hampton inn…etc. I had no problems, room was clean, front desk was nice, bed was very comfy, breakfast could be better, still had waffles, serials, donuts, bagels, but that’s not big deal for me, Wendy’s & Taco Bell next door, I’m rather paying 65 $ , than or somewhere else 120-150 $ because those better hotels have fake eggs & terrible sausage for breakfast ! So overall, I’m definitely will stay there again. Plus , I must leave 18.00-19.00 next day, so instead like mostly hotels charging for full day, they only charged me half price. Thank you for that! I’ll be back here again for sure!

This was a horrible experience. We check in go to our room and look over bedding. Nasty stains on all layers of bedding both beds. We took pictures and asked for another room only had on 2nd floor And elevator was broken so we had the lug our stuff up. We get into the second room and it's just as bad. We went down and checked out and tried to get a refund, they would not refund us our money. So gross and not friendly Even though the signs on the front desk say satisfactory guaranteed etc....nope they didn't care!Rooms: Rooms were disgusting. Bedding was stained. Dirt or something smeared on walls. Do not stay here.

Save your money and stay in your car! *Currently checked-in and TRYING sleep" We checked-in on Friday with zero cars in the parking lot, requested the room we wanted by number, as we have stayed here three years in a row. You would think with so few people in this hotel that the night clerk would have enough common sense to space the patrons out, well he didn't and doesn't.He checked in some inconsiderate Neanderthals at 1am that slam doors and if the people in the room aren't the same as last night, the dude that shared the wall space with my bed snoored like a walrus. And the guy tonight loves to hear his own voice, I can feel him talking through my pillow. Will NEVER stay here again, and I recommend you stay anywhere else.Elevator broken, no big deal.Bed comfy, sad I don't get to sleep more than 4 hours a night.Bathroom was clean, shower was pisswarm.Nearby activities: St. Benefict's Brew Works is a gem!

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. The breakfast was nice and included hot items. The rooms were clean and large (we had a 2 bed with sleeper sofa room). We didn’t use the pool but I did see others swimming in it. The staff were very helpful and nice. About 15 minutes from Holiday World and lots of eating options near the hotel. We will definitely be returning. Recommend.Rooms: Large room with lots of spaceNearby activities: 15 minutes from Holiday WorldWalkability: Many restaurants in walking distanceFood & drinks: Many food options near hotel

This is a nice, clean hotel and is in a great location right off the interstate. Our family stayed here after spending the day at Holiday World. The room was nice and cold after a hot day. The beds were soft and on the TVs you have the option to log onto your Netflix! They also have cable TV as well. There is a small, indoor pool on site. They do have breakfast which included items like scrambled eggs, meat, and a waffle maker. It is located next door to Taco Bell and a gas station/convenience store. It is worth noting, they are on a different time zone than Holiday World. They are EST, Holiday World is Central time.It is confusing because all of our cell phones were stuck on Central Time, and the alarm clock was Eastern, and the microwave was Central. So just make sure you know when checking in or out that the hotel only goes by Eastern time. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so friendly.

Excellent and friendly service from the start of our stay. Extremely clean rooms and facilities. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. The breakfast was surprising! I anticipated normal grab and go food, but they provided so much more. My teenage nephew was happy with the muffins, doughnuts and sausages. My niece was thrilled to make her own waffles!Overall excellent choice if you are looking for a place to stay while visiting Holiday World: close to the park and other food options.Rooms: Clean and comfortableNearby activities: Holiday worldNoteworthy details: Friendly staff

I booked 3 rooms for my family and they loved this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was great and the staff was all amazing. The general manager last night was very helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel every time and we plan to stay here every time we come to town.Rooms: The beds were huge and comfortable. Everything was clean and I loved the big bathrooms.Nearby activities: It’s only 10 minutes away from Holiday World.Noteworthy details: The staff were all super nice!

There was a piece of garbage on floor behind garbage can in bathroom and a hair in the sink but otherwise everything was nice. The people checking us in were very friendly and welcoming.Just a suggestion..maybe extend breakfast a bit..we went down twice and it was so full we couldn't get in...so we didnt get our "free" breakfast which would have been nice after spending that much on a room!Thank you!

The breakfast was skimpy (they filled it once) & you had to get there right at open or you got nothing & we got there a little over an hr before close of the kitchen. We had 1 choice an apple, dry cereal & a tiny cup of juice. The girl closing the kitchen seemed very pleasant. The ice machines were all broken so you had to wait for someone at the desk to get it out of the bag in a locked room. People were crowding the pool (about 6-8) & it was the same people the whole evening. The rooms were decent tho & location was great. Restaurants were close by. The amusement park was a 10min drive away.Rooms: Appeared clean & stocked. (Wish they'd leave a dirty clothes bag in the closet.)Nearby activities: Amusement park was a 10 min driveWalkability: Gas station right outside & Restaurants close by were plenty & loacted a hop, skip & jump away.

This was a good place. They had nice, comfy beds. The room had nice, modern furniture. It was a great price for having 3 beds in the room. There was a good heated pool for kiddos to play. We didn't get a chance to eat the breakfast becuase it did close very early. Overall, i would highly recommend this place for anyone coming to stay for Santa Claus our Holiday World.

We paid extra to add a roll-out bed, but the room they gave us had hardly any space. The employee who helped set up the extra bed could not speak or understand much English, so we felt unable to communicate our hopes for where to put it. We ended up with it right in the entryway with about 6 inches of space to scoot around it. It was so flat and springy none of us could sleep well on it.Overall, the room was clean enough, just tiny. The elevator was dirty and the pool was super small. All the baked goods at breakfast were pretty cold. The proximity to Holiday World was our main reason for staying here, but we'll need to find a different spot next time.

This place deserves ZERO stars. I booked for a weekend trip. Realized we could not go & called to cancel 2 days later. The lady on the phone said "it's fine". I asked if I needed cancelation number, she said "it's fine". I asked if she was sure I didn't need to do anything else, & again, response "it's fine". I got an email from them 4 days prior to previously scheduled vacation to remind me of vacation. Thinking it odd, I got online & canceled again. I got an email today stating they would not refund any of the $500 they charged me despite canceling TWICE. I called directly & the man was VERY VERY RUDE & basically told me too bad. RUDE, CRUDE, & SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I can't imagine what the service is like. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Our room key didn't work and Hadda make 3 trips from 2nd floor back to desk. Finally the owner came and fixed our key problem. I asked the desk clerk if we cud have a first floor room she said no. And there were 2 other cars in the lot besides ours... The fridge was very loud when it ran. And there was approx 8-10 cable channels. And thank God I brought my own blanket. I would've been cold probably. Not my idea of quality.

The first room we had was very humid, to the point where I was not able to sleep because the sheets and eventually all of our belongings were damp. I think it was because there are no exhaust fans in the bathroom, so when somebody takes a shower, the steam has no where to go but throughout the room. There was also a very bright flashing light on the smoke detector that flashed every 15 seconds that made it difficult to sleep. In the morning, the breakfast line got very backed up because everyone was waiting to make waffles which took about 2 minutes per person. We went back to our room and our key would not work. We told the front desk and when we told them what the room number it was, they said that keeps happening with that room. The manager couldn't even open the room with their master key. Finally they got it and told us to just leave the door open all day. So we packed up all out belongings because we weren't going to leave the door open with our stuff in it. It would have been more secure in our car. My husband decided to talk to the front desk one more time as we were heading out, and a different person was there and they gave us a new room. This room was also humid, but not as bad as the first room. But no flashing light on a smoke detector in the second room. We appreciate that they finally decided to give us a different room, but we will not return.

Avoid this hotel at all cost! If I could give a negative number of stars, I would. I used points to pay for the room. The hotel charged my credit card. The carpets were filthy. The front desk clerk wore gym shorts and slider shoes with no socks. The toilet in our room was clogged. I called the front desk; no answer. I went to the front desk and told them the toilet was clogged. He handed me a plunger. If the room had been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival, wouldn't the housekeeper have known the toilet was clogged???I have filed a dispute with the credit card company to get the room charge off my statement because the front desk clerk didn't know how to reverse the charge on my card.

First stay on a cross country trip. I have my mother and my doggo with me, and they completely helped them with the accommodations. They gave us a first floor and showed me where to park my Bronco Sport and U-Haul trailer. They were training a new girl at the front desk, and she did a fantastic job. Will recommend to others.

Staff was excellent! Very nice, friendly and always helpful. Everything on our stay seemed very clean. We did not use pool. Our room was very damp/wet feeling though. Our room key never worked for the side door.I dont like leaving negative reviews but breakfast was horrible! Probably the worst I've had in a hotel. Sausages were unthawed and kinda heated in microwave as well as eggs. I did not try waffles as I don't care for them. Bagels were stale.

Pros: Right off the highway, close to Holiday World, comparable pricing to other hotels in the area.Cons: The tub/shower knob needed repaired (would not engage water - literally just spinning). We did not find out that the shower did not work until midnight - after a long day out, so we did not contact the front desk, because we were too tired. Pretty sure the contact lenses from the previous guest was left on the floor of the bathroom and a half used water bottle next to the bed. We opted for the suite for the pullout bed, but mattress was so thin that you could feel the railing of the frame. So, it was unusable for our need.

Stayed here for a weekend (Fri-Sun). Picked this place because it was closet to Holiday World, which was my reason for visiting the area. Most definitely overpriced. Room carpet not very clean ands stains on top bedspread. The soaps, shampoo and conditioner in rooms are very tiny.... had to ask for more since 3 of us were in the room. We did not utilize their breakfast so I cannot rate that. Wendys, McDonalds, Arbys, Subway are your closet food options. Pool looked small, but again, we didn't go in or use it. Staff that I encountered were very nice.

The hotels in a 10 mile radius of holiday world are not great. They are all value and nothing that is going to be wonderful. We’ve stayed at Santa’s Lodge a few times and it’s a dump. We tried here for the first time and it’s nothing great but good. Beds are comfortable and room is clean enough. Again, it is what it is.

Our stay at the Quality Inn could not have gone better. Our room was clean, quite and very comfortable. We traveled with 3 college age children and a dog so the double queen with a pull out sofa suite afforded us plenty of room at a very reasonable price. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I would most definitely recommend this hotel especially if you are traveling. It is located near the highway and offers multiple places to eat nearby as well as gas for your morning fill up.

We stayed here specifically because it was close to Holiday World and Splashin' Safari. Our room was clean. Staff was good. The pool should have not even been open! The life ring was shredded the screen in the pool room was ripped. The air was on in there. The ladder steps had a missing step, my husband slipped and fell in. All handsanitizer were empty. No showers or public bathroom available. Elevator buttons broken. Dryer not working. My keycard worked one time. The hotel clerk had to continue to unlock for us. We didnt even bother for breakfast. Will not be staying there again. I also worked for a hotel for about 5 years.

Room was dirty. Had to go down to the front desk to get pillow cases because they were missing from the beds. Shower faucet was cracked so water trickled out the front while the rest sprayed out the sides everywhere else. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. Half the items on their menu were no where to be found, and the gentleman at the front desk in the morning was of no help. Pool area was filthy. Overall it seems as though the management there doesn't have high standards to ensure their guests have a decent stay. The only thing positive that I can say is that Mr Kevin who was there during the evening at the desk was very helpful in trying to get our needs taken care of considering it was just him. The fact that I spent my evening going back and forth to get issues taken care of made me decide that I will never spend another fine at one of the Red Roof Inn establishments. Couldn't even enjoy my stay.

Breakfast was sub par.Front desk refused to help me get a refund for reserving the wrong night, and charged me more than what I'd paid when I reserved ahead of time.Flooring in the lobby was missing tiles and had cracked tiles everywhere.Had to pay for a 'suite', and I guess it was a suite technically? They just threw a couch into a normal hotel room.No shampoo in the shower. No liquid soap. Rags stored out in the main room, so if you forget to snag one before hopping into the shower, you have to drip all over and walk into the room to get one. Shower plumbing was reversed.

Friendly staff, rooms were clean and stocked with what we needed! Pool was nice. Our family stayed here while visiting Holiday World, 7miles from there so it was easy to get to! 3 or 4 drive-thru's are close by, also a gas station and CVS Pharmacy! Would definitely stay again. The breakfast in the morning was very good and lots of variety to choose from!
