The Cashier "Tyeshia" has the worst attitude 😡 She never speaks to anyone, and never smiles. Guess she doesn't realize, that someone more deserving can replace her 100% (Update: 02/18/24) The Cashier "Keonte" is an absolute gentleman ❤️

Never shopping there again. My family and I went there this morning and received unnecessary bad comments by an older lady with short hair employee. My kids where looking thru the toy selection and we always make sure before we leave to pickup anything that we might had dropped or misplaced but the employee assumed the worst of us. She made us feel very unwelcome.

Went to Dollar Tree store #5895 located in East Chicago Indiana. I've been to this location many of times. At first, the cashier would speak, then the more I went they stopped. Last week I went, had quite a few things. I asked the young lady to double my bags because they always break before I get to my apt. I live on the second floor by the way. She double one, and left the other bag that had just as much in it, if not more. Then she walked away. I had to reach over to get another bag. Then today I go in, get in line to return batteries. I also had other items to buy. I told her I was returning the batteries when I first got there, so she knew. So I'm at the register. I had food items. I was paying half with snap, and the rest my debit card. She seemed upset that I was paying with my debit card because she had to do the transaction over because of the return/ exchange, even though she knew before I began to get ring up. The supervisor or manager comes to clear the transaction so she could ring me up. I bought two 6 bottles of water and another bag of items. I asked her if she could double the bags because they always break. As I picked up one of the bags with the water it started to rip, I wasn't even out of the store yet. She doubled one bag, then when I said the bag is ripping can you double the other two, the ones with the water in it , she seems to have a attitude that I asked. You bagged water, them bags cheap, why should I even have to ask to get the bag doubled. Don't know what's going on at this location, bit why work in retail if you're gonna have a attitude with being ask to do their job.

The lines were long but another cashier came and got us checked out real fast. She was courteous and very nice and professional. I will visit the store again. I love the cleanliness of the store too.

This is the worst "Dollar Tree" in the area!. The Shelves are barely stocked. It appears they wait until the item is completely sold out before they restock the Shelves. They have 1 cashier per day, while the Managers sit behind that two-way glass and watch everything! I believe their eyes are mainly on the Cashier, because I've watched people stealing from left to right. The Cashiers often have a bad attitude. Probably because they're tired of: Tending to the Customers, Stocking Shelves and Sweeping the Floors by themselves. Too much multi-tasking for only one person

I went in here for a few items and they didn't have any of the items that I needed. There were a lot of empty shelves like when COVID-19 first began. I did see some new items at this location.

Finally very clean and nice it's been so dirty for years wherever they're going to have to have a job cleaning up the place up in East Chicago Indiana and Chicago Ave in a place is a pigsty I will shop there now I wish it was terrible for thank you
