The staff here are amazing. They go out of their way to find you a forever friend that works best for you. The animals are always taken care of. The facility is always clean and staff always shares as much information on the animals as they have. They know the temperament of almost every animal in there and can tell you what dog fits best for you. They helped my find my forever friend and im so grateful for that.

Very nice people. Had my cat fixed. They did an awesome job. Was a little pricey for all shots and fixed $130 but was well worth it. Cat is healing nicely and treated her with care. I would recommend.

We used them for the low cost transport. We had a feral cat show up. They were responsive and fast. Nice shelter. Like most, underfunded and over crowded

Decided we wanted to adopt a cat almost 2 weeks went by without hearing anything. I called they said they called my vet references and said the Vet told them they have no record. And one of my dogs wasn’t fixed the dog they were talking about past away at ear ago and was fixed at a low cost facility not that vet. So I called the vets and the low cost clinic and they pulled my pets right up… They could of at least reached out but decided not to. Looking into other options

Went to adopt a cat and they couldn't pull up my vet record for my two cats. Both are fixed and up to date on shots but couldn't adopt because they needed proof...I'm sorry but I'm sure there are people that don't even say anything about pets they have at home and they wouldn't even know the difference. I could have brought the paperwork in but I'm not going to waste my time with it and will just go somewhere else.

The staff was very friendly n made great recommendations...I was able to take my dog home same day on a trial run for 2 weeks before I adopted him...it was an all around wonderful experience n I would recommend going there for all your pets

I adopted Stacia, now Mrs. Norris, two days ago. I was a little nervous with so many cats being in an open room in the adoption area, but after thinking about it, it must have helped with her socialization. She is such a sweet cat, adapted very easily, very loving. Super happy with my new family member!

Great staff. Care for the animals and do their best to find quality forever homes. I had my old dog humanely euthanized there, with me by his side. I also adopted a amazing American Bulldog from them. Thank you so much!💖 Mindy Poole

My fur baby was hit my a car the week of Christmas 😢. Not to mention my family has been in a money crunch. Animal Welfare League jumped into action rushing my baby to the Purdue Animal hospital and got started working on her straight away! They ended up having to amputate her leg... But the Animal Welfare League is still taking great care of her. Ik that was long but it's all true!

AWL Awsome job to all involved LAST EEEK ( Nikki ) was the best and will never forget how she handled the Accident and death of my 11yr old Daughter's cat . i. just starting to get used to cat . but in all fairness Nikki fixed her BROKEN HEART . and was giving a choice & we decide to Adopt a new member of our Family ( Trevor ) . but changed his name to. T. A. N. K. Already protective of SYDNEY and EXCELLENT watch dog . in 10 days time in new home has NEVER had an accident in my home . everything Nikki said was 100% Dead on the moneyThank you. I actually live in iowa but when I visit crowfordsville I come here. Ive atually gotten to know the staff and the dogs pretty well now. This place is a very good plave to come to either adopt, pet or walk dogs.

I had to put down my 17 year old cat. The lady was so nice and sweet. She walked me through the whole thing. I felt so at ease when I left.

I have been said his place 3 times and been treated nothing but rudely. Twice was because I was looking at a dog to adopt but someone else got the dog 1st I'm OK with that period this time I found a strike it took it in the woman said either before 1115 or after 1215 here it was there that 1115 and she growled at me and was very rude. I distant one this baby kitten to get hit on a road. Already Have Three cats I could not keep it.
