Very cool place. Back stories of each animal are so sad. I'm glad that they are being cared for now.

What a wonderful experience! The staff was very well educated and told us numerous facts about the animals they've rescued. The areas were very well maintained and the gift shop was spectacular!

Very unique place! Animals normally needing euthanasia are given a place to live their best life for their remaining years. Hard to believe this is in Albion Indiana, but it is and you really should go!

I love what they are doing for these animals. the people who worked there were very kind and considerate for the residents I had with us that had walkers and they took their time to make sure our group caught up. Thank You so much for the lovely trip and tour!!! definitely need to come back again. only con is I wish we could go at our own pace to fully take in and enjoy seeing the animals(I am a photographer 📸 love taking pictures hehe 💗)

We took the feeding tour. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The animals were eager to come out and eat and curious about the human visitors. Black Pine is a one of kind experience and they are doing a great service to the community and the welfare of the animals they rescue.

Black Pine is an amazing place where animals can live their lives out in peace! It is very interesting learning about all their lives and where they came from. Each animals have a unique story and plus you going on a tour helps support them!

Guided tours through the sanctuary where they tell you about the animals and why they are at the sanctuary. We booked tour online before going and you currently need to wear face masks to protect the animals from getting Covid. They have a small gift shop also. Tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the animals. Lots of different animals to see. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Had a great time! I would highly recommend a visit here for the feeding tour. When we first found this place we were a little skeptical, especially with recent popular shows and things. It was completely different than the way any of those places are run. They definitely take care of their animals and do everything they can to make sure they can live out the rest of their life the best way possible. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. You could tell they had truly bonded with and cared for the animals. I could go on for a long time, there were just so many reasons why this was a good experience and I would definitely recommend visiting!

This is an amazing place, a must to go. Clean, big, a lot of animals, and the work that people make there to keep this amigas safe is terrific. It is a 1:30 hour guide tour for $25.

Was a neat experience. Our younger kids liked it the most but we all enjoyed getting to see all the big cats and wolves. Would suggest planning on going on a cooler day than we did. I love that all of the animals here are now safe and get to live out their lives with such great care.

In light of media coverage in recent years, it is sometimes hard to know who you should be supporting. It was good to spend time here learning how these animals are being cared for with the animals physical and mental states taken into consideration.Black Pine is a wonderful place to learn about the underground exotic pet industry and meet some of the survivors. I would recommend anyone visiting and donating to this sanctuary.

It’s guide tour only, so we booked ours online. Masks required, which I think it’s good. The tour guide is a volunteer there and very informative and nice. It’s good to know the stories about those animals. Love those big cats, such beautiful creatures. Like the experience.

A small animal sanctuary where many animals go for the rest of their lives. Many have lead a poor life before arriving at this sanctuary. There are many animals including tigers, bears, exotic birds, monkeys, foxes, bobcats, reptiles, lions and cougars. Well worth a visit if you are this area of Indiana.

I have lived in Fort Wayne for about 18 years, and it was my first time visiting Black Pine. It was a great, different, wonderful, and educational experience. We would definitely visit again. It was clean and very organized. All the volunteers were very friendly, welcoming, and definitely very well educated about the animals, etc. You could tell they really love what they do and really care about the animals. Loved it and can't wait to go back! Thank you for everything you all do for the animals!

This is the most amazing place. Everytime I go there I see and learn something new.The animals are inspiring, and their stories are heartbreaking. We need more place like Black Pine to protect the animals and less people who will hurt them.

An awesome sanctuary for rescued animals! They have tigers, a lioness, leopards, wolves, bears, foxes, spider monkeys, lemurs, tortoises, and so many more. We walked around without a guide and leisurely strolled through, taking our time and taking photos. We went on a feeding tour as well which is a few bucks extra. Neat experience, I recommend it. They have older animals living out their days and some with health issues. It's sad that people try to take wild animals as pets and most here have experienced abuse. The people here truly give these animals a great life since they cannot live in the wild. We will def visit again! 💜
