What a cool military museum! Weapons, vehicles and replicas spanning various conflicts. Want to see a Russian attack helicopter? Go check them out!Seeing these vehicles in person gives perspective on just how beastly some of these things were in real life. Very interesting and an affordable way to spend an afternoon.

Crazy the amount of military unique objects they have. $10 is way too cheap. They had to move from 150 acreas to where they are now..so understandable their caois. Was very mind blowing being x military. They have it all..then some. Respect their things...they offer it to educate. It's not an amusement park. If you ask.. they may accommodate... just ask first. It's their personnel property that they are sharing for less than a cup of coffee...had a great day ..my honeys bday...lot of memories for him. Owners are super friendly people... really... bad reviews are from bad people..who damaged things and did not follow rules...highly recommend.

Amazing place for families to enjoy. The Russel Military Museum may not be a Smithsonian, but it has just as much history and lots more personal feelings than any other museum I have visited. Being a Disabled Veteran, the Sonday's made me feel very comfortable and very accommodating for me to help with me getting around in my wheelchair. Thank you!!!

Located just off I-94 at next to the Illinois/Wisconsin border, this place is a hidden gem for military and space enthusiasts! My wife and I stopped by recently and were impressed with how much there was to see, how it was arranged, and how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was. There are indoor and outdoor areas, so I recommend you choose a good weather day and give yourself plenty of time and take lots of pictures!

Small place that has old rusted tanks, helicopters, planes, boats and transport vehicles. It has not been updated in decades. Gift shop is nothing special but could be set up to be appealing. It's ok to go and see different style vehicles and waste an hour or two. I have been to amazing museums around like the Nation Museum of the US air force and USS Lexington Air Craft Carrier among others.

My mind is blown by how amazing this place is. If feels so weird being next and some inside of these amazing pieces of history. This is a amazing place with so many types of things from M4 tanks to slot machines that went to war with are soldiers. I couldn’t help myself and got that ammo can. Absolutely awesome, must go for any history buffs

This was a fun place to visit it was clean the owners were incredibly friendly the machines were beautiful and well-kept there was a rich history behind each tank and Chopper you saw and plenty of opportunities to take amazing photos for an incredibly low price I highly recommend visiting this Museum I know I will come back many more times in the future

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Owners were helpful, knowledgeable, and low key. It was much more hands on then most typical museums. Planes and helicopters were not in restored state, but made it feel exciting, like exploring an exotic junk yard filled with amazing finds. The inside museum with jeeps and tanks was more organized and full of information. Tank ride was short, but tons of fun on their dirt track. My son and I both loved it. Definitely recommend a visit.

The grandbabies absolutely loved touring the museum they loved watching the tank crush the cars and taking a ride in the armored personnel carriers and climbing all over the aircraft in the helicopters and all of the big trucks they just had a wonderful time we will return many times

Great place to visit over the weekend with kids. Husband is a cool guy while wife definitely not the happiest person out there. When you are there, pretend you listening to her, she needs to feel important ,)

Really cool spot with a wide variety of rotting pieces of military aircraft, the place feels like a time capsule. On the other hand it's not well curated, so if you need explanations and would prefer well manicured exhibits each with significant meaning behind it, this is probably not the museum for you.

Wow... just wow. You gotta see this place and talk to the owners. It's absolutely amazing, even if you're not necessarily a military buff. There's something for everyone here... actual newspaper articles, informative writeups, uniforms, etc. There's an area for climbing into a tank, cockpit, etc that my kids absolutely love. And of course then you can get up close to actual vehicles from nearly every major conflict.

To be fair--you have to be into this topic to enjoy this place. I found it to be a random collection of military stuff/personal junkyard. But some people I was with are into tanks, planes, helicopters and such so they were more amused.

Interesting place for those who are millatry buffs and for those who aren't. They have a great selection of planes, Armored personnel carriers, Humvee tanks and more. It was my first time going have passed along by it going to Wisconsin several times. Glad I I stopped to check it out

This museum was very cool. They have so much to look at that you could spend days and still miss something. In addition to things to look at, there are some vehicles you can sit in and some helmets/vests you can try on. There are signs explaining a bit of history about each vehicle. We would absolutely return.But, the best part: my motorcycle battery died and we were stuck in the lot well past the closing time of the museum. They came out to the lot and asked if I was ok. After explaining the situation, they jump started me with their truck and I was able to get back home to the suburbs of Chicago. I'd have been stuck a state away! Such friendly business is rare these days, you have to go check it out!

Great place to catch up on the history of the military and the equipment they used over the years. Plenty to see and experience. Photo opportunities galore! Great price and helpful staff to assist you with any questions you may have. And their gift shop has something for all ages. Well worth the drive.
