My sweet Wolfgang is a gentle, loveable, clumsy goof of a Labrador. He loves every person he meets, but has some pretty severe vet anxiety. Alas, it was time for Wolfie to face his fears and go with mom to the vet for some tests on a couple of nefarious lumps that had appeared on his undercarriage.Needless to say, he wasn't very happy. But from the moment we walked in to Harbor Animal Hospital, the staff and Dr. Kinroth were so kind and patient with him. They never put him in a position to make his anxiety worse, they stopped when he called it quits, and made the vet visits as stress free as they possibly could for him.Fast forward: he just went in for his post-op check up and although he still would rather not enter any building marked "VET", his anxiety was visibly reduced and he is so much more comfortable. It most likely has something to do with all the hugs, pets, and treats he gets when he goes in, but hey whatever works for my dude!Thank you to the Harbor Animal staff, and especially Dr. Kinroth, for being so gentle with my babes. I took my dog to this vet 2 times. The first time she was given antibiotics which did nothing for my dog. The second time the vet recommended x-rays and blood work. When trying to contact her and ask to call back she never does it’s been over a month. We’ve asked for a copy of x rays and blood work. Receptionist said they would send it to our email but to our surprise nothing was sent. Now we wasted our money to not even get results. Simply said to go to a specialist. My dog is worsening and we can’t even get a simple phone call or a copy of our results basic stuff here. Then when the vet “explains” what my dog had which I had to ask when I took my other dog she just rambled on without explaining anything. She just threw words and expected us to understand.. and no I don’t want a reply of “… the essence of our clinic …” I want a call back with a copy of my results. Recommend going to beach park clinic instead where they actually show you x days in person of the results and break down the results not just read of a computer.

The people here are passionate about providing care for animals and it shows! They make sure you're well informed and don't surprise you with any charges. I like that they can print out an itemized sheet of what your pet needs. I drive past a lot of other vet offices just to take my pets here. Thank you Harbor Animal Hospital!

Dr.Kinroth and Julia are excellent! I have been to a few other vet clinics and Harbor Animal Hospital tops in customer service. The staff are friendly and attentive. I feel that my pets are truly cared for by Dr.Kinroth. She listens to my concerns, answers any questions, and explains why things are being done when options are given as far as treatments. I am thankful for Julia as she explains the treatment instructions at the end of the visit to make sure I understand how to properly treat my pet at home. I never feel rushed by the staff and truly appreciate all that you do. Thank you all for caring!!!

Having been a pet owner all my life, I can honestly say this hospital is the best I’ve ever known. The staff is top-notch and Dr. Dymek, whom I had the pleasure of working with, is extremely knowledgeable, competent and caring. Anything and everything is done to ensure your pet’s well being. And there are no surprises as every aspect of caring for your loved one is discussed with you. I can’t recommend this hospital highly enough!

Harbor animal hospital fit Dawson into their schedule when we needed to see someone quickly. We have since made them his go to vet. Alyssa gave us hope when we were so challenged with Dawson. They are very thorough and explain everything, never trying to get me to purchase things we do not need. I always feel so much better finding out exactly what my pet needs and that she is just fine. I’ve come here twice for an emergency visit, once with my cat and once with my dog, and both times the staff were beyond kind, caring, and accommodating. I've been coming here since the early 1980s. I've had cats and several large dogs. I have trusted all my animals to the capable hands of Dr. Ned Bartlett.He said they pretty solid staff there, the sign of a good employer and the sign of a well-run business run by a proficient veterinarian.Most of my visits have been happy and sometimes sad. Don't worry when the chips are down your pet will get the right treatment.I just had my puppy Siberian Husky spayed at Harbor Animal Hospital..

I just went here for the first time. Everything seemed fine, but you might want to try scheduling an appointment by phone, if they allow it. I didn’t try calling, but I know some vets only do things online these days, and this is yet another vet using a weird third party system on their website. Those can be terrible, but this was doable.I admit it is difficult writing a positive review for a vet because I’ve had so many bad experiences and I’ve only been here once, but I got what I wanted from it. They had an appointment available for the next day. Everyone was nice. I liked seeing the “POCKET PETS WELCOME” sign outside. The treatment was simple. They didn’t offer to schedule the second treatment before I left, but we did that online.

They helped my senior dog feel much better after adjusting his meds. They were friendly efficient and listened to my concerns way better than the last vet I took my dog to. Would recommend! Also they listened to my budget and built my care plan around that and my dogs best interest. Dropping stars after being with this hospital for a few months because the way they do their medications. They don’t electronically send any prescription even the basic ones and their print out takes a full 24 hours. I would have gone somewhere else if I knew every month I would have to buy a carrier pigeon for my pets meds.

First time visit with my st. Bernard today. Docs were awesome! Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. None of the usual BS. Very happy with my visit and will bring the rest of the animals soon!
