Starting with Cons though please continue reading for Pros!Cons: 1) Tiolet appeared to be loose at one time, adhered down so, that is more cosmetic. 2) Room 109 has a severely damaged shower stall floor that is poorly covered with a large white patch. I have a foot injury that physical hurt because of the damaged floor. I know 100%that water leaked through an uncovered crack. Hotel needs to take a loss, entirely remove stall, fix subfloor, and any water damage in area to keep mold from becoming a health issue. 3)Breakfast is very basic, helps keep their costs down. Pieces of apples were rotten. Hotel, please keep apples in a cool spot when not offered for breakfast. 4) An incredible amount of wasp nests on outside walls of hotel. Nests look like chipped off sections of wall from a distance.PROS: 1) Quiet hotel. 2) Clean room 3) Friendly Staff. 4) Walking distance from winery 5) Body wash, Shampoo, and conditioner is provided in pump style inside shower. 6) Bright parking lot lights, no issue with crime. There are security cameras inside and outside hotel.

Cost for the room was ok- however they are 'pet friendly', yet they charge $25 per pet, per night- which is outrageous for a 2 to 3 star hotel. Pet fees were more than the cost of the room. The room we were in definitely smelled like someone's pet. The toilet handle was broken, had to flush manually. Soap dispensers were almost empty. Good location although there's not much else within 5 miles. Staff was friendly. Property looked clean. Internet (connection) wasn't that great. TV channels were good, but TVs were older.I don't know that is stay again due to financial and the bathroom related issues (toilet and soap/shampoo)Noteworthy details: Pet fees are $25 per pet, per night

I am so picky with my hotels due to used to working in hotels. I was nervous staying here for a family reunion, but after staying i was surprisingly shocked how good it was. It was very cleaned and staff was nice. They even have a cute little mascot outside ready to greet you! The only reason for the 4 stars is The hallways are very hot and muggy though. Also the back door closes to the street is unlocked and doesnt even have a key locked. So it can't even be just broken. Reality is that alone is so unsafe for the guest but for the staff working overnight. I just pray they get that fix so that I would stay there again. I would have rate this hotel 5 because the staff was great and how pretty and clean it was. Safety is priority.Safety: Outside doors do not lock.

This is a very reasonable price for a good quality stay. The hotel is well kept up by the owners and the rooms were very bright and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only down side is the location. It is close to the lake but there isn't much in the immediate area, which is a little run down. Other than that it was great!

One of the cleanest places we stayed while on our vacation! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay here as long as you’re just in need of a room for the night as there is only a gas station close by.

Stayed here one night on a trip from Michigan to Texas and it was very nice :) There isn't much around the location but it's very pretty and quiet, and there is stuff a short drive away. It is a very serene place to stay, the employees were very very nice, there is a cute talkative and friendly cat who hangs around outside, and the beds were very comfy. It's a clean and peaceful place to stay on a road trip.

Love this place. 5 min from ramp. Had great breskfast ready for us at 430a. Eggs, sausage, pastry, bagels, etc. and a lighted fenced in area for boat with plug in....oh and 3 choices of body wash in shower with convenientdispensers. Nice touch. And,Tinos nice restaurant at golf course 5 min away. Employees were very friendly and helpful.Rooms: Nice, cleanNearby activities: Rend lake and golf course

A solid stay for a fair price. Clean, nice staff and good location! 👍The only nuance I have is that the place is in dire need of carpet replacement in the rooms. The smell of dust was extremely strong. It was bearable, but slightly discomforting. That’s the only thing that held me back from giving it a 5/5 ⭐️.👩🏼‍💻| We arrived in the evening. The front receptionist was welcoming and friendly. Answered all of our questions and accommodated our requests.🛏️| Beds were fairly comfortable and clean. No complaints.🚗| Parking is around the whole building with a main entrance and a side door.🚿| The shower was clean and provided 3 shampoo dispensers. Good water pressure. The bath tub itself was spacious. | The room was very clean! Housekeeping does a solid job. The only nuance is the floor and room has too strong of a smell from dust. If replaced to get rid of the smell, this would’ve been a 5/5 ⭐️.🌲| Surrounded by nature and near a lake. This is not near a town or a city, it’s tucked away. Personally, I prefer that.🐈| A very friendly local 😼.🍳| Everything else is standard: breakfast was 6:00–9:00 AM, checkout at 11:00 AM. TV in a room with standard channels. Refrigerator, microwave, Wi-Fi.📆| Stayed here for overnight, 10/31/2022.

Wow!!!!! One of the cleanest if not the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in!!!! Just incredible! Please give all your housekeeping a raise bc they’ve definitely earned it! We stay in about 30-40 hotels per year for work and leisure and none have blown me away like this. Smelled fresh, looked it. Kathy on 2nd shift was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, beds were awesome. Slept really well. Thank you for giving us such a peaceful warm place to stay for the night. We definitely will be back!!!

This is our third time staying here. I was curious how well this hotel reviewed because the hotel is so clean and well kept. The staff are top notch helpful and very friendly. After seeing some of these negative reviews I can’t see any of this happening. Obviously you have people that find something to complain about. We vacation here a lot as a family and check out several rooms each visit and everyone is very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. No musty smell. The breakfast was awesome. Much more than expected and the staff made sure it was cleaned and well stocked while we were eating. They are very hardworking here. As another reviewer stated the laundry room being so tidy. He is right and there were tons of big comforters in there to be laundered so I know they wash them.(something we are always in fear of when we stay at hotels) I just wanted to give this hotel an honest review and let them know your hard work does not go unnoticed. Our family appreciates everyone here! We check out tomorrow and will be back in December hopefully again before then. Thank you!

We needed a last minute stop on our way home from vacation. This place is a hidden treasure. Rooms were very clean (and I am very picky on hotel rooms). Front desk staff was super friendly at check in. Saving for future return trips for sure!Safety: We felt very safe at this hotel. We were going to stay in Benton but the hotel seemed sketchy.

Amazing hotelWhen we where taking my brother to college our family had a white ford explore 2002 and when we were heading back home the vehicle started overheating because we did not had an oil change and we broke down by the highway and the tow company took us to this motel, it looked very alone by the area and this even took place in July 17 2016 and the owner of the motel or staff took the car out of our hands and sold it to them for free and it was amazing because it was on a Sunday and there was no scrap yard and because we could not abandon it so the super friendly staff and then we went home and the motel was really nice comfortable and it really helped me and my dad with our stress and calmed us down and I was amazed when my friend sent me this location and now I remember all the memories during out trip and will gladly remember the crazy day.

Very clean, comfortable, well-priced and had everything one could want from a hotel room. Breakfast was make-your-own waffles, sausage, eggs, cereals, bagels, yogurt etc. Good coffee. You can't see this hotel from I-57. There aren't restaurants anywhere near, which you wouldn't know when selecting this hotel on the internet. There is a well stocked shop/gas station next door to the hotel that has a few casual options. Apparently, it is also possible to order pizza or BBQ delivered to the hotel from outside.

Stay was good, however, I paid for my room in cash for the 10 days I was there in full and used my debit card as a deposit/security. A few days after my departure I see 3 $20 charges on my debit card and a $10 charge. Definitely something shady with their upper management. Everything was paid in full. I just got the 3rd $20 charge almost 2 weeks after leaving.

Our room was updated, clean and comfortable. We weren't looking for a pool or work-out room just a decent quiet place to rest for the night that didn't cost an arm and a leg. There were nice places to get a meal and a drink or two very nearby.A great halfway point on our trip to Atlanta for a family wedding.

It looks like they're building up to be something great! Their breakfast was wonderful. Breakfast was appreciated since I'm driving cross country from KY to CA. Though they allow pets, they had a rule they couldn't get on the bed. Which is hard to do with cats, especially after driving for a long time. I would come back here if I ever needed too. It was close to the highway as well. Staff is nice they all greeted me in the morning. Yep yep.

I arrived with my husband in the middle of the night looking for a room and the woman at the front desk took excellent care of us! The bedding was exceptionally soft and comfortable and the room was very clean. Lots of tv channels. The free breakfast was great (waffles, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, juice), exactly what we needed before getting back on the road. This hotel would be my first choice if I find myself in the area again!
