Our pug has been staying at Lap of Luxury for a number of years and we (and he) couldn't be happier. The staff there is really amazing, they've been very kind, flexible and helpful over the years. They send a daily report card and photos and even text us when they have concerns about his behavior or health. He is always excited to see them when we drop him off and he's always clean and ready to go (because they offer bathing too!) when we pick him up. We've tried other places (only because they were booked solid!) and were not satisfied with the service or the experience. I trust the team at Lap of Luxury with my dog and I know he is well cared for when he isn't at home with his family. Thank you, Lap of Luxury!

We brought our 2 pups to Lap of Luxury today for the first time to get groomed and they look so handsome!! Lee, the groomer did an exceptional job. Our poodle Ozzy is 14yrs old and has arthritis in his legs. Lee messaged me that he would take a little longer because she wanted to give him breaks to rest. I was so impressed that she was so patient with him. And our little morgue Auggie did so well too!! I already made their next appointment. The staff were all so friendly as well.We are interested in training for our Morkie and the owner messaged me right away to discuss setting an appointment. Very impressed with the customer service!!I give a 10 out of 10. Thank you so much. 🐾🐶🐩

Leaving an updated review to re-emphasize how amazing this place is.My dog has been coming here for 4 years now and every experience has been great. During her most recent stay she suffered from a medical emergency (not caused by the facility or another dog) and they handled the situation in the most professional way possible. They did everything they could to keep her safe and comfortable. They really care about their dogs.Thank you for always going above and beyond. Stormi and I greatly appreciate you!

We have been bringing our dog (a rescue) to Lap of Luxury once a week for over a year for daycare. We call it her Day Camp. We have also boarded her here and had them give her a bath. She LOVES coming here to play with all the friendly dogs! Never a bad experience. They book up quickly, but are expanding to be able to support more “guests”🐕🐶🐾 For us it is pricey, but we are happy and confident in the care our pup gets here.

This place is amazing. We have been bringing our dog here for a couple of years now and he loves it as much as we do! They take pictures everyday and share them with parents and it’s so reassuring he is having a good time. Our dog can be anxious at times and they have been so willing to work with us and give him breaks when needed. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Lap of Luxury is incredible! The people genuinely care about the dogs and treat Max like he is family. We take our dog here each week and trust them for overnight stays while we are on vacation. Great place!

We are pleased with the flexibility and even happier that our pup wags his tail at the workers when he comes and goes. He really likes them and they treat him well! We've done boarding, doggy daycare, nail trims and ear cleaning. Props to the staff and owner.

This place books up fast & I completely understand why. The staff are all amazing! We have a very anxious dog who isn’t great around other dogs right now. The staff have been amazing about communicating how she’s doing for the trial and for every stay after. We’ve boarded our dog a few times now and whoever is working the days we drop off or pick up remember things from the notes. We really appreciate how prepared they are for the dogs they’ll be taking care of.

This review is long overdue! We love this place and really don't trust our dog, Tater, to go anywhere else. They take the safety of your pet seriously and it shows. My dog has been going there for 5 years since she was a puppy and she still loves going - so much so that we just open the car door and let her bolt inside. We love the daily report cards with pictures, allowing you to see how much fun the dogs are having. They do a great job at staffing appropriately and they don't cram a ton of dogs in their facility. Regarding boarding, this is the only place we'll go and if they're booked, we'll modify our vacation dates. They offer a slumber party room that allows your dog (if eligible) to sleep in a room with other dogs and an employee, so your dog never has to sleep in crate or kennel while you're away. We love, love, love this option. Such a great, well-run facility. Highly, highly recommend.

Our pup goes for daycare and loves it! I like that they have small dog groups and they aren't kenneled during daycare. They often have last minute openings. New building facility is a plus! Thank you!

Amazing! Been having my dog come here for a few years now. This is the only place I can leave her and be 100% confident that she's being taken care of. I can go out of town without any worries. They also send you daily photos for further peace of mind. She's always super excited to go there and has all her energy drained by the time I take her back. Her behavior also improved immensely since going and their grooming service is top notch. I've taken her to daycares before where she'll come home sick, with injuries, or taking on the bad behavior of the other dogs. Never once here and she's gone well over a dozen times. Seems like all the other daycare attendees are very behaved as well. Facility is also very clean and all staff that I've come around are awesome.Best daycare I've found in the suburbs. 100/10 from me and stormi!

I will tell you my experience beginning to the end since our pets our so special to us to make you more comfortable about leaving your pet here. I left for 9 days and needed someone to take care of my cat. I called them last minute for a tour and Alex who is absolutely amazing by the way told us to come in 20 minutes even though they were super busy at that time. From the minute I walked in the door we loved Alex. She was so professional and just the sweetest. Took her time with us, and explained everything thoroughly. Cats were so happy and playing. Within the first 5 minutes I knew I was going to leave my cat here. I received pictures everyday I was gone. I sent a couple messages and received a response in a timely manner. I will definitely be using them again and I highly recommend them as well.

I recently went on vacation and I was very apprehensive about leaving my cat, Shadow at a boarding house however the staff at LOLPR made me feel so comfortable and really put my mind at ease. From the daily report card, the overall cleanliness of the facility and the wonderful staff, I highly recommend leaving your kitties, doggies, birdies, or any other treasured pets in the care of LOLPR. Special shout out to Brenda. From the moment we dropped off my cat she was so welcoming and made me, my mom and my kitty feel at ease. She showed us where my cat would be staying, she was so patient and kind. I really appreciate her kindness and care. Good people are hard to come across these days and when you find them you should celebrate them, so thank you so much Brenda.

We’ve been sending our dog here for years for both daycare and boarding. Close to the train making an easy drop off for commuters. We love seeing the photos of what he did each day, and he always comes back tired which is the best part. Thanks LOL!

Highly recommend Lap of Luxury. I’ve been using them for daycare for over a year. My dog LOVES it here! He gets very excited when I drop him off in the mornings. The staff is awesome, they’re all great and friendly. I look forward to the pictures at the end of the day. I love having a place I can trust to leave my dog. I wouldn’t leave Oso anywhere else.

I have three cats and when my husband and I go out of town for a night or two, we typically leave them at home with ample food and water. Recently one of them was diagnosed with diabetes and because he needed twice daily insulin shots, we decided to board him for the two nights we were away this weekend. We found Lap of Luxury in a google search and chose there based on the reviews.I couldn’t be more impressed with how well my cat Bandit was taken care of. I got a report emailed to me while I was away documenting when he got his shots, along with pictures. When I went to pick him up Alex had so much to tell me about how he did. His kitty hotel room looked cozy, clean, but had ample room for him too.We will definitely be boarding him at Lap of Luxury next tine we’re away and will recommend to anyone in the area we know needing to board their animals. Absolutely wonderful place to trust to take care of your furry friends. Good home away from home for them. Friendly and attentive staff. Multiple areas for pets to play, relax and enjoy. Only place I trust to take care of my older German Shepherd mix. Word has it they are expanding soon to a larger nicer location about a block away. Very happy with all of the services provided to me.

Great facility, great people who clearly care about each dog ... our dog is 13 and they watch out that he gets enough play time but can rest whenever he needs to, and they clearly know him and his ways. Nice clean new facility with large outdoor play area and nicely set up indoor space. We enjoyed the daily pictures while we were away for 10 days, could tell our dog was doing well and happy!

They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I left our dog there for a couple days over Christmas and they were very nice and flexible with my schedule. Our dog, Fred, came home happy and tired from all the play time he got, which I really appreciate because he needs the exercise. I don't often leave reviews but want to credit a company when I'm really happy with the service I received. I would definitely recommend them.

I can't say enough great things about this place. Over the years, I have boarded, trained, and utilized day care for my Dogs at various facilities. Never have they been treated and cared for like here.Lindsey and her staff really love what they do and it shows. My Dog practically pulls me out of the car because she can't wait to get inside. When I pick her up, she is so exhausted after playing all day I practically have to carry her to the car.It's difficult because not all Dogs get along with one another, but at Lap of Luxury Pet Resort that is not an issue. Lindsey and her staff take pride in making sure your Dog has an enjoyable experience and is well cared for.You can feel confident that your Dog; or any pet for that matter, is in good hands with the Staff at Lap of Luxury!

So I had heard great things from reviews and my wife and I decided to board our pup here for the two days we'd be out of town for our wedding. We did the practice daycare and everything went fine and a week later dropped her off. The next morning, the day of my wedding, I received a long text explaining that my dog was acting "growly." I called right away and they said she didn't want to leave her kennel area. I asked if this is something they had dealt with before and was told yes and that the dogs usually come out "but I really hope the owner doesn't make someone pick her up." I explained, once again, that I was out of town and my wedding ceremony was in 5 hours and that everyone who would be able to pick her up would be at the wedding. I told them that I would need to know right away if they would be unable to board her further and was told they'd have to check and call me back. 30 min later I received another text telling me that someone would have to pick her up. So, with 4 hours left until my wedding I found myself driving back to Wheaton to pick up my dog. I barely made it back in time. Thank God we were only 45 min away rather than out of state, I don't know what I would have done.

My dog Kelsey and myself have been fortunate and grateful to have LOL since her arrival to her adoptive home in Oct 2020. Since she arrived, I have been able to work remotely, but my hours are long, often intense. often requiring great focus, and providing few opportunities for breaks. I wants Kelsey to have opportunities to romp with other dogs, to learn to trust other humans, and to be engaged and active during the day rather than lay about the house looking bored and forlorn. LOL has been consistently excellent, great at communications via text and email, reporting if Kelsey barfed (she's a lab!), trimming her nails, and training basics over obeying such commands as 'Off' and 'Hugs.' I want to point out one recent example of LOL's excellence. There was a snafu with the daily email report card, which is a 'roll' of photos of Kelsey and other dogs, and I notified Lindsey the owner last week, the Friday of the Labor Day weekend. She spent the 30 minutes investigating, inquiring, and ultimately solving the problem; she is clearly a business owner who is conscientious and concerned about LOL's clients, both dogs and their human companions.

Very odd place to begin with honestly. SUPER small. There's not even an outside area they can really go to. They also out my dog in time out for being too excited? He is a literal sweetheart who wouldn't hurt a fly. Isn't that what I paid you for? To let him play and exert all his energy!? The staff was very timid as well. Seems as if they didn't want the business at all.....I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog at all. We will not be back.
