Although this establishment is consistently praised in reviews as "dog friendly", my dog was attacked here by the owner's two dogs. They charged on sight. This was not a mutual dogfight or provoked in any way. We were supposed to be spending a few days hiking and enjoying our gorgeous cabin rental. Instead we made the mistake of stopping for dinner here and spending the night in the emergency vet an hour away. When we arrived, it was dead and my dog was the only pooch in the place. The people were friendly and no one made mention of other unleashed dogs being in the building, or that my dog being there might be a problem on that evening. We would have left immediately and taken our order to-go if we had known there would be the potential for problems. We had dinner, chatted a bit, and were getting ready to leave when two large dogs (Cane Corsos) came charging from a side door directly for my dog. The owner realized what had happened and was able to get his unleashed dogs under control. Apparently his teenage son had let them loose without thinking.Once separated, we realized there was a large open gash on my dog's shoulder and a smaller one on his leg. A helpful man at the bar, who I believe was a paramedic, wrapped my dog in bandages and suggested we hurry to the vet as soon as possible. With no emergency vet nearby, the owner did the right thing and took us to an emergency vet in Mokena. He covered the bill for sedation, stitches, meds, etc ... I do appreciate the way he handled the situation afterwards. He also expressed that he wouldn't be allowing the dogs around other dogs without a muzzle after this incident. However, I still believe people need to be aware of this before choosing to potentially put their pets in harm's way.I really don't believe the owner expected this to happen, but his dogs are not dog friendly and his kids make careless mistakes. A teenager should not be left responsible for two large dogs that would be difficult for a trained adult to control. If my dog had been smaller, he would be dead, not just injured. My dog is now in pain consistently. We cancelled the remainder of our vacation rental (without refund). We didn't even use it, other than a few hours (to sleep) when we finally made it back from the vet. We had several days booked and planned. I am also out my vacation days from work, which I am now spending caring for an injured dog at home. Not to mention time and money spent packing, preparing, driving, etc... All the work that goes into planning a trip. To top it off, I lost my favorite pair of sunglasses in the scuffle. They're not expensive but had sentimental value to me. They were left at the bar but disappeared by the time we returned. The owner said he would text me about the sunglasses and follow up vet appointment my dog will need, but never followed through.I feel so horrible for my dog and am worried that this will change his sweet demeanor towards other animals. He's never hurt another dog nor has he ever been attacked and this can cause long term trauma and behavior changes in animals.I know a lot of my friends hike and go out to dog friendly places in this area. Please steer clear of this place if you have your dog with you.Response to Owner:In regards to the dog being inside, two people who were working on the deck directed me inside when no one was available outside. No signs were posted. Bartender (male) was definitely aware of my dog. In fact everyone in the bar said "hi" to him and commented on how cute and calm he was. Bartender (female) was also aware of my dog. I understand that they are not owners, but they easily could have asked me to go outside or if he was a service dog. Either way, people who worked at your establishment were 100% aware and okay with it. I would never keep my dog somewhere he wasn't allowed to be or welcomed. Now, if your workers aren't trained on proper procedure, that's a separate issue. Either way, even if he were a service dog, he would have been attacked. So that truly is irrelevant at the end of the day.

Tony Piecha is awesome at getting bands set up for the weekends, the music has me always coming back. This place has a large wrap around porch with covers for the windows when it gets cooler. They have 2 bars & a shop with a lot of merchandise. Plenty of motorcycle parking on the concrete slab. Gravel parking for other vehicles. Food is available also. Kid friendly, dress as you please.

Loved the atmosphere, the food (especially the Biker BLT and fries) was top of the line...stepped outside my comfort zone and had a Watermelon Cooler recommended by the bartender and it was a definite winner! The staff was very welcoming and friendly...couldn't ask for more. :) And the live band? Kicked it!! Great experience overall! Will go back again for sure!

This is a pretty cool place. There is an attached bar, that might serve food as well, but I didn't venture into that part. The trading post has several rooms, each containing different items, sort of like theme-based rooms. There are toys, walking sticks, leather jackets and vests, headgear, jewelry, dream-catchers, and thousands of statuettes from Victorian steam-powered to fantasy, western, Buddhist, religious, and more. Prices were very reasonable. I purchased a dragon sculpture for my son and it was on sale for an outrageously low price. I am glad I stopped by.

Stopped into the trading post and ended up at Jamie's bc we heard a fun 80s band playing live. Drinks are super reasonable, bar/bathrooms are clean, and they had multiple live bands for a great 80s event they were putting on. Love that they have a spot to donate a drink to a veteran!

My first time here. My daughter and son-in-law took me here for my birthday, saying I would love the place. They were right! I loved it. The food, service and atmosphere was all good! They have so much stuff, just a good variety of things. I will be back!Parking: All kinds of parking. It's a big lot.Kid-friendliness: You can bring your kids there and there is plenty of parking!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it's wheelchair accessible, too.

The shop attached has such cute items to ogle over, large selection of wind chimes, dream catches, jewelry, minnetonka boots and moccasins. The lady who assisted me today was such a joy to talk with! The bar has a huge patio to enjoy the outdoors while having a drink.

Went here for the wine walk and they REFUSED to give us water. Wouldn’t tell us why only said it was “unsafe” when we got water from several other places in Utica prior to this. Clearly a gimmick to get us to spend 2$ on a bottle. If it’s truly I safe that’s one thing, then tell your (we asked several) employees to be able say more than “I don’t know” on one of the busiest days of the year for you business.

Live music, Renegade Wildflower was very good. Lots of drink options and large variety of whiskeys and moonshine inside. Food was great, some of the best nachos we’ve ever had.

Definitely more of a novelty store. Great to visit for a quick souvenirs. The charger I got for my phone didn't work and the "Outpost" canned picked were super mushy. The bartender was awesome and they had a lot of really neat things there. Only bar I know where you can drink a beer and purchase a Samurai sword

This is such a fun place!! Everyone is friendly and the food is great. They put their own twist on bar food. The main reason I like to go there is the live music. Tony P books the best shows!! The price of live music is affordable and the quality is first class!! Thank you Tony P!! I'll be back for more bands!!
