Crossroads is the best daycare ever. My Rott absolutely loves going every week, he will wait by the door! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. My Rott has gotten much better socialization and some training techniques from just being around the professionals/other dogs. The prices are much more moderate than other places nearby, and there is even a discount if your pup goes 3 days a week.They offer a lovely grooming service as well. I had an issue in the beginning of my time at Crossroads because my dog refused a bath, but they did their best and were very accommodating, and ended up only charging me for a partial bath. I really appreciated this and thought it was very professional of them.Also, I love the large outdoor space my dog can run around in. This is not something I see in other daycares. Plus, I get photo updates of my dog, and they are the cutest things ever! I feel so safe dropping off my baby at Crossroads and would recommend over and over again.

Crossroads is hands down the best grooming and boarding facility we could ever ask for. The new location is so nice and clean and a super convenient location. Danielle and her staff take amazing care of our dog, Graham. The entire staff is friendly and patient and they provide updates and pictures while our dog is at daycare or being boarded. All we have to do is ask Graham if he's ready to go see his friends and he is waiting by the door. We could not recommend Crossroads more!

I just picked up my dog from Crossroads after a 5 night stay, and he was great! His first stay was really smooth. He can be a shy and nervous little guy, but they helped him adjust really well and they said he loved playing with the other dogs. He genuinely had a great time, and they sent me photo updates every single day. I will absolutely be taking my dog back for the holidays, and probably for grooming too!

We were leaving the country and needed a safe place for our 6 month old puppy. After doing a little research Crossroads came highly recommended. They responded promptly to my request with full details on what they would need and the kind of care he would receive. Through all our communication we gained confidence that they were a caring and professional establishment. Upon dropping him off, one of the workers held him so sweetly and confirmed we were all set for the next nine days. While gone they sent multiple pics and updates. He had an amazing time, it seemed like his vacation as well with all the other playful dogs. We would not hesitate to have him stay there any other time we'll be out of town.

They do a really great job here. We have a 9 month old Corgi puppy that, to put it mildly, is a handful. He HATES baths and fights with everything he has in him. They do such a great job with him and have helped him get better each time. They always treat him so lovingly, even when he's been a total jerk. They're the best! And they give him the Corgi "butt loaf" too!

Their groomer left an inch long deep cut on my dog’s paw, and they did not inform me this.I realized that my dog paw was bleeding the next day when she was playing on my bed (I spotted blood on the sheet) and finally sent her to ER, and that is a $125 medical billI hate that they did not tell me this. My dog will definitely get infection if I did not notice this on time. Please do not go to this place.

This is the best boarding and day care service I've used in Champaign-Urbana. They always have a great attitude and they love our pets. Also, their grooming service is excellent, our Coton de Tuelar always looks great afterwards.

Crossroads has gone above and beyond with my special pup. We found out she has severe sparation anxiety when we adopted her and we would not have been able to keep her without their daycare services. They do everything they can to make her comfortable. I was also very impressed one day when they asked what commands I use at home to have my pup sit, lay down, etc., so that they can "speak" her language and reinforce commands when she is there. She's usually one tired and well-behaved girl when I pick her up. Crossroads is the best!

Crossroads Grooming are the best groomers and boarding Facility in the business, in my opinion! They are clean, have excellent staff, and very caring rules about vaccinations being updated. My 3 dogs and one cat love this place. It’s very comforting to me to know my pets are very well taken care of and beautifully groomed!

Crossroads is a wonderful boarding facility with excellent staff!!!! I have 2 dogs, a senior toy poodle, Henri, and a rescue boxer mix, Phillie. They go weekly to Crossroads for daycare and we use their boarding facilities when I need to go out of town. Henri is also groomed there and the groomer does an amazing job!! Phillie is a rescue dog with a lot of past trauma. She doesn’t trust people and her actions and personality are not like your everyday dog. I adopted her knowing that she would need care only from very experienced care-givers. I was stressed when I needed to find a boarding facility. The first day Phillie and I toured Crossroads, Danielle, the owner, took Phillie’s leash and Phillie actually followed her. I was dumbfounded! It usually takes weeks before Phillie will trust someone enough to get close. I started crying I was so relieved. It was very clear to me that Danielle knows how to work with dogs and has a great amount of experience working with challenging dogs. The staff at Crossroads are also excellent. They have patience and are wonderful with the dogs. The facilites are very safe, and the staff follow policies and procedures to keep the dogs safe.

My family and I were going to a music festival in Champaign for the 8th year. This is a summer tradition for us. We have a reactive Dane and were at a loss on how we were going to have him cared for while we were gone. My mother, who normally would let him outside and feed him, is dealing with lung cancer and isn’t of health to help anymore. I called quite a few kennels in the Champaign area and Crossroads is the one who blew me away. I spoke with the owner who gave me the chance to board him here, while I would be close by at the festival, and be able to come periodically and help care for him. She was very understanding, welcoming, empathetic, and I could clearly tell her love for all animals. All the staff I met were very kind, helpful, and reassuring. I could rave about this place all day. You can’t go wrong leaving your animals in the care of this facility. Thanks again Crossroads. ❤️

Our dog has had bad experiences with boarding at other locations in the past and has been anxious in these types of situations. Crossroads staff has turned that around for her. Rather than just expecting her to get used to her surroundings, staff took responsibility to create positive associations for her over a few short visits and make her feel secure. We were given a tour together so she could see it for the first time with me. Staff made over her and gave her treats on each visit. By the time we got to her 5 day boarding stay - Lucy was eager to go and visit her new friends and we felt confident leaving her. During the 5 day boarding we did receive updates and 1 picture - not quite as much as I would have liked, but then I would rather staff was spending time with the dogs rather than writing to me about it. When we picked her up she was clearly excited to see us - but not overly stressed as she has been at other locations in the past. I am looking forward to Lucy continuing to enjoy her friends there.

I boarded my dog for just over a week and he came home happy, healthy, and surprisingly clean. I don't know if they bathed him for free, or if he managed to stay cleaner because he had both indoor and outdoor access. I like that he was able to play with other dogs, but still have his own space to sleep. Good communication and easy to make a reservation by phone.

I was hoping I was going to love this place after reading the reviews, but unfortunately, my experience differs from the positive reviews.I was a new client putting their dog into their daycare, so I was expecting some type of "new client" introduction that would at least inform me how they were going to take care of my dog (like play-time, kennel time, if he needed to be fed, etc.), costs for the hours/day, and when to pick my dog back up.When I asked these questions myself, the attitude I received felt like I was a bother for not just dropping off my dog and going on with my day. They also did not ask for any vet records.When I went back to pick up my dog, there was no one in the front to greet me except for a cat. The cat did direct my attention to a sign about recent exposures to their dogs having kennel cough. That made me freak out a little, especially since they didn't ask for any vet records earlier. I stood there for about 10 minutes, shouted some "hello's" to see if I could get anyone's attention.Someone finally came to the front and saw me but went into a room of barking dogs, and shut the door to it. After another 5 minutes, they came out to ask if I was picking up a dog and when I got him back, my poor baby was shaking ): I wasn't going to jump to conclusions just because it was his first time going to this place, but after that experience, I have never taken him back.I've had many friends recommend Crossroads for their grooming, but I feel like this experience has scared away my dog and I.I believe that some of this can be explained because they were busy, maybe a bad day, but it was still an uncomfortable experience and it felt like they didn't care for my business anyways.

I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff at Crossroads. From the front office staff to the groomers. They groomed our standard chocolate poodle and petite golden retriever and we were never disappointed. I want to thank the staff for taking care of Wally, Winnie, and Yadi from grooming to boarding them. Your professionalism and friendliness will not be forgotten and we will truly miss you when we move. I 10/10 recommend

Staff seemed nice.. but also had a snarky attitude. Refused to trim my dogs nails, wouldn’t even look at her; super sweet girl. Tried three places, and tried to call them twice before just arriving. Will not be coming here again.

Dogs did super well during their visit. They allowed me to board my two pups together so they could feel some companionship while I was away. Pups get walked and played with frequently and staff were friendly and helpful at drop off and pick up. Looking into doing daycare as well.

Employees are always very nice and passionate about their dogs. Took three different dogs to them so far and they all looked wonderful afterwards. Dogs seem to enjoy their stay and the employees know what they are doing. Definitely recommend this place.

GroomingFirst time did great job on both dogs. Second time not what was expected, Third time took dogs in at 7 in morning and was not done at 3. Danielle then told me that I had the wrong date but she was working them in. Terrible job on our Pomeranian and Poodle was less than desirable. Still can't have Pomeranian groomed as hair still to short on legs. Re-scheduled my daughters dog appointment from this Saturday to today (Sunday) which there was no one there.

A treasure for dogs who need a little extra care. With fear based anxiety, our rescue hound is worried about new people in his life. The team at Crossroads is patient, kind, and loving. He immediately formed a bond as he sensed he could trust them. We're grateful to have found them! 5/30/2022 update...I am so thankful for everyone at Crossroads. They are truly wonderful people.
