Quick stop over for gas n snacks. Clean restrooms. They have a greeter at the door directing civvies, like me, to the correct bathroom and sending truckers to their proper bathroom/shower/lounge. I got snacks n water. No inflated highway gouge here! Plenty of healthier choices.

Another TA that closed their restaurant. No decent food alternatives within walking distance. Luckily I have a microwave and frozen dinners, but I would have gladly paid to eat at the restaurant here if they still had one. Maybe they should lease out the space cheaply to an independent restaurant and they will attract paying customers. Or at least put in a deli case with hot food, like a lot of the Petros have.

The best part of my visit was meeting Sara, the receptionist. She was really cute and friendly. She greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. She also helped me with the paperwork and answered all my questions. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed talking to her and I hope to see her again soon.I would highly recommend TA truck service to anyone who needs truck repair and maintenance services. They are the best in the business and they have a lovely staff. Thank you for taking good care of me and my truck!

I had to have an emergency repair done on Thanksgiving night. The staff got me right in and got the job done right, and in good time. Nick and Jose were very easy to deal with, very professional, and knew the job and how to do it. I couldn't ask for a better service experience. If you need something done, I highly recommend this T/A, and their excellent staff.

My recent experience at the TA truck stop in Troy, IL, left me utterly dismayed and frustrated. Arriving with a dead car battery, my wife and I sought refuge from the freezing cold in the driver lounge. Instead of finding temporary respite, we were rudely awakened by the general manager, who unjustly accused us of overstaying our welcome after only two days—an absurd assertion in the realm of truck stop norms.After finally receiving help to jump-start our car and grabbing a quick meal, we returned to wait for our Amazon packages. However, what followed was a series of humiliating events. Just as we were settling in, three police cars arrived, interrogating us as if we were criminals. Despite our full cooperation and explanation of our situation, the encounter left us feeling demeaned and unfairly treated.It was only after this unwarranted confrontation that we mentioned the Amazon packages, a detail we had forgotten to disclose earlier. This omission led to further confusion and exacerbation of the situation.In summary, my experience at the TA truck stop in Troy, IL, was nothing short of a nightmare. The utter lack of empathy, professionalism, and common decency displayed by the manager tarnished what should have been a routine stop. I never thought I'd encounter a real-life "Karen," but alas, here we are. I wholeheartedly give this establishment a resounding 0/10 and strongly caution others against patronizing it. Spare yourself the aggravation and seek out a truck stop that respects and values its customers.

Wish I had read the reviews first. Another TA with no hot food. They just need to close these places down. Not a place I want to do my 34 reset, so heading down to Pontoon Beach and the Flying J to give them my business, lord knows this place doesn't want it.

It’s 07:00 on this Sunday morning. Freightliner told me to leave truck and it will be Wednesday before they can check me out.Jordan took care of me here at the TA in about an hour. Only needed a brake chamber. I thought it was more going on inside the dash but fortunately it was not.Also I had a 3 axle alignment performed later in the day. Excellent work and great attitudes.Thanks.PS. I love Freightliner but not that much to be down 3 days just for a look 👀.

First of all, hats off to the guys and lady in the shop. Great experience in the shop. They did an excellent job in a timely manner. Now let's talk about the restaurant in the TA. The food was excellent! Price was too high but the food was delicious. The store in the TA, small and not that great of a selection. Truckers lounge, descent. They only have a mens bathroom in the truckers area, sexist not to have one for the women drivers. There's only 1 womens bathroom over by the restaurant that is tight quarters and constantly full of women with children.Now let's talk about the showers. On the way to the shower I read some mess about how they pride themselves on having the best showers......Not! If you're a skinny man they're great for you I guess. The water pressure was horrible. Shower nozzle doesn't move around much at all. If you're a woman or heavy set man these showers aren't for you. As a woman or heavy man I can tell you it's almost impossible to throughly wash your parts. There should be a shower wand in every single shower, NO EXCUSES. After my shower I feel sticky all over and I rinsed many times but felt like I couldn't get the soap off of me. I hope we never shower there again. A bath in a pond, lake or creek would have been a better experience.

Very clean truck stop, at 9pm there are a lot of free spaces, a huge reserve parking, not bad feeding, there is a Mac across the road to Pilot. But with fuel pumps they have a problem, it’s time to replace them with new parts.

No pull through places to park. Not easy backing a set of doubles into these spaces. But, finally found a spot to stop for a break. Nice people. Really hot coffee. Clean restroom. Plenty of seating in tv room. Couple video games for kids. About 5 adult games in their own room.

Clean place to stop! Parking lot had plenty of space to maneuver and plenty of spaces into the evening. Showers were clean with hot water. Employees were nice.

Truckers stay away from the repair shop they are scammers/ fraudsters... I came in to change my Nox sensor and the tech guys deliberately broke a pipe on my one box emission system and told me that could be the problem with your truck but this can't be true because one side is attached with a rubber hose and the other with a metal fittings so if one side is broken the other one should still be hanging because the fitting is rubber but he cut it off and changed me to fix it and later told me the Nox sensor still needed to be replaced I ended up with a 8hrs of labor which took my bills over $2k I should have used the freightliner across the road They are currently under investigation stay away truckers.

Very disgraceful. That they do not have anything to offer other than convenience store food. If I had known that I would have went to the pilot across the street where there is Jack in the box and Arby's but dairy Queen and a McDonald's and a Burger King.. not sure why TAs are wasting perfectly good space that was used for restaurant just to hold air. Seriously need to be more thoughtful of the drivers and give them somewhere where they can get a hot meal other than fast food very unappreciative and unacceptable that is happening..

The free section of the parking lot is full of Amazon Prime trailers as always. Not a single dropped Amazon trailer in the paid section, once again forcing drivers to pay for parking.This TA does not care about drivers, the owner refuses to do anything about Amazon using their lot as a drop yard.All this place wants is for you to buy fuel, buy their overpriced products, and get the hell off their property.Guess I'll have to take my business to the Pilot next door.

They've done the repairs that I got charged for. The store is overall small however it's packed with the fixings and I like that the driver's lounge men's bathroom and laundry area is very clean

Amazon trailers taking up a good portion of the lot. While drivers looking for a place to park are sol because of this. Restaurant closed even for take out which leaves a piss poor choice of food inside. So for those of us limited on what we can eat, thanks TA/Petro. Showers were lukewarm at best. Slowly but surely losing my business to mom and pop truck stops.

Clean truckstop with laundry and great homestyle food. BUT good luck finding a parking spot at this Amazon Prime drop lot! They take away most of the parking. I understand they’re parked here for repairs - yes, it’s another example of how big corporations value money more than human beings.Very nice clean showers. Problem is the TA/Petro reward system doesn‘t allow to use shower credits at your discretion; meaning you must wait 24 hours before next shower. We’re owner/operators, we can fuel wherever we want, and nobody will dictate IF or WHEN we can take showers. As a team and even as a solo driver, this communistic policy isn‘t practical and simply not right.

The staff here are so inefficient! Too bad! At the beginning, I was told to wait for 2 hours, and there were 3 cars waiting in front of me for 4 hours. I still said there were 2 cars waiting in front of me, and 4 workers had no one to work in 3 hours, and they waited for 4 hours to repair the turn signal, but still no one to deal with it!

This place STILL has a sign up for country pride restaurant. There hasn't been a restaurant here in over a year! Avoid this place especially if your having to do a 34 hour break and want some REAL and good food cause all they have is a Baskin-Robbins and a dunkin doughnut. Like that's actually food. Smh

Stopped here early. Thank God I did! There was 49 Amazon trailers parked in the no pay parking! Was told they were here for repair. How do they get them in the shop! They have no hass and always told they can not move equipment?? I WILL NEVER STOP HERE AGAIN! Yes I have warned all of my fellow trucking friends on social media to call ahead! Or get your money out to pay for parking!

This has to be one of the best TAs in the country , very well maintained ! 25 year veteran trucker here , I've been to a lot of TAs . Troy always has very clean restrooms , immaculate parking lot . Food and beverage options above average, and very helpful and polite , courteous staff . I love this TA . Hey management, keep doing what you are doing. Good job , it's always a pleasure to stop here . Thank you 👍

Restaurant is CLOSED. If you want food you have to go across the street and check this out. The drivers lounge is closed but you can go sit next to one another in a small enclosed space and gamble. (I've included 2 pictures) This whole thing is a HUGE joke. TA should be ashamed.

This location would rather promote gambling addictions than provide products for truckers and the motoring public in general, so the casino eats up usable floor space that could be used for the store. Because of this, the store has an absolute minimal selection no matter what you're looking to buy. If you don't have a gambling addiction, go somewhere else.
