A month and a half late on rent, even after the rent memorandum. We decided to move out and live with family, to keep from getting too far behind in rent. The property manager, parked his truck in front of our front door and would not let us move out anything more, until we gave him something of value. I ended up giving him a speaker worth 2600.00 when we were only 900 short at that point. And forcing us to sign a contract under threats of towing our vehicles and force by threatening to call his buddy the local sheriff.We will be sueing for lost wages, as the speaker was part of my small sound business and have lost substantial wages.What these landlords did was illegal, and ultimately will pay dearly.
