The store is clean and organized. I've always had great customer service and with their pharmacy. Love their floral and plant section, produce.on a good day can find beautiful selection of orchids..easy to find what you need. Have a reward system with your phone number for points when shop

Epic fail. Thursday afternoon at 4pm. I counted 40 people waiting for a staffed check out. Another 43 waiting for self check out. I dropped my 3 items I ran in for and walked out. Management should be embarrassed. Corporate should be embarrassed. I should have taken pictures. Failure of organization. Failure of service. You know what time of year it is. It's not a surprise. Staff better. If you don't have people, management should all be running registers. Schnucks just failed

I shop at Schnucks when I am in Springfield. I really like all the selections of groceries they have, especially the healthy whole grain cereals, gluten-free items, and fruits and vegetables. They may be a bit more expensive in prices, but overall, it's completely worth it! The only thing that could be updated is the self checkout machines. The automated voice telling you to put your items in the bag and when you do, it does not always recognize that you did, and then begins to repeat the request over and over and it doesn't allow you to continue, until the employee managing the area touches a button to reset it. It takes far too long and slows down the self checkout experience.

Yesterday was our 17th wedding anniversary and I had these flowers sent to my wife. I've been ordering flowers from this store for years now and I have never not been pleased. Kathy in Floral ALWAYS does a wonderful job for me. I ordered some "just because" flowers for my wife a few weeks back (you know the old saying "Happy Wife, Happy Life") and my wife was so happy with them she talked about them for a week. Thank you Kathy in Floral for always doing such an awesome job.

The Schnucks in Montvale Plaza is my "go to" place for my shopping needs. The meat department is my favorite in Springfield. I know a couple fellas who work there so I'm never concerned about the cleanliness. My favorite thing to get is the Malibu seasoned kabobs. The Boars Head tavern ham in the deli department is a must as well. Prices are reasonable. Store is always clean. Staff has always been super friendly. Overall a great place to shop.

This store has everything you could possibly want, love the bakery and staff, excellent meat selection and helpful butcher. The pharmacy staff courteous. The store's new checkout system and courteous checkers speeds up exiting.

I usually shop at a different chain, and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the customers at Schnucks Montvale were with people who were elderly or disabled. I observed several people offering to reach items for others. Employees were also easy to find and helpful when I had trouble locating things. The prices are a little higher than some other stores, but they offer a wider range of products that aren't found in the other stores.

A Well Stocked Grocery Store. Prices can be high but there is Quality Here. The Vegie Area was Clean and Fully Stocked. The Bakery had an abundance of Tasty Treats. The Deli had a line of Customers which tells me they have a Great Deli Selection. The Meat Dept was Outstanding. Store Employees were very helpful and scooters were Fully Charged even on a Saturday.

Good store, beginning to show its age. Carries all the grocery items you've come to know and love. It has a deli, bakery and great produce section. If you'd like to avoid their big-box competitors, come check'em out!

Customers were standing all the way down the hall waiting to check out and 2 of the 3 cashiers left for the day. I complained to the Supervisor and he said 3 checkers were on their way but not here yet. And that if someone isn't scheduled they can't work.I like your store, I like the convenience, I like the selection of products. You have some really conscientious employees and I plan to continue to shop at your store. I just wanted you to know I was very disappointed in how things happened during shift-change.I use self check. I just had to wait for my Grandson to buy a Gift card in the "long" line.

Best produce in town at the best price, without fail! I've been a regular here for years. Hyvee usually has better avocados but that's it. Their chicken is pretty great too.I recently learned that most specialty items here at schnucks are pricey and can be found cheaper elsewhere. For example, I am lactose intolerant and find better prices and a better selection of non-dairy and "vegan" items at Meijer, Target or sometimes even Walmart.Minus one star for some of the cashiers and self checkout attendants because they can be super rude (the self checkout attendants). I have had enough times where glitches and errors occur with no response from the attendant, despite hitting "call attendant", that it makes me consider walking out and leaving everything there.The employees in the deli and rest of the store, however, are amazing and helpful!

Placed my eggs, $6.00 for a dozen, at the bottom of the bag with the baked ziti (almost 2 lbs) on top of them!! Didn't notice until I got home and thought they forgot to put them in the bag. I think I'll watch them bag the groceries first, and pay afterwards.

A little pricey, but consistent overall, they have good produce, higher end selections, a good meat department, and a good variety of products. I like to switch things up by hitting a variety of different supermarkets, so I can increase my food options at home, and they have items that other stores do not.I stand by my previous comments.

Great store. Love the produce, very fresh. They have a great seafood and butcher counter. Their salad bar is better than most restaurants and other stores. The deli has a huge variety of meats and cheeses, plus they have specialty cheeses. Prices are competitive with other local stores.

Everything wonderful. Nice smaller more intimate storeGreat products. Little pricey but when they have a sale look out...it is very good. Sweet step back in time. Know your name, load your groceries and will place in vehicle. All are pleasant. Not all bright lights and no help. It is worth few extra dimes.

I ordered cupcakes and they arrived ahead of time, which I appreciated. Then I found other cupcakes on display that were less expensive. I should have looked first. Either way, the crowd loved them.
