My wife and I are undergoing home renovations and needed some assistance from the Menards (South) store. Barry (electrical dept) has been a blessing and we can't say enough praise for his help, professionalism and humor. Barry is a "Go To Employee" and we're very grateful of his knowledge and helpfulness. Thank You

Got to meet the Store manager Barry, what a great guy. Has this stores best interest in mind. He stopped me and inquired as to why I was taking so many pictures. Thought I was the competition. I only shop Menards South. Anyway we worked it out after my Bestie vouched for me. I apologized for scarring people did an about face and rang out all the cool stuff you just can't buy in the little towns and villages to the South East. I always 💘 to meet new people after I've had my meds. I wish I had more 💰. Durt5 out.

Went in for 800sf of laminate flooring that was on sale. They even loaded the 50 boxes onto carts for me! The employees I dealt with were very nice and helpful!

Walmart employees are more receptive. I will walk around this store for hours unable to find something and it seems like the employees don't know either; nor does it seem like they are there for the employees. I walk around the store and the employees are more like mannequins in employee attire. Really fell off since covid.

Customer service was great as always compared to Lowes. I do wish more employees and customers wore the mask correctly though.Update: I ordered a couple of things online. It took them 20 minutes to bring my order to me and that's after I called them again. I think they forgot about me. The pick up at store option is not as easy as it sounds. The system is great for larger orders.

Had a delivery for a dishwasher and the only reason I had the delivery was to pick-up, the old one. I and just got home from work when the delivery truck arrived and just needed to take it out of the bay, once I did that. The guy had already left without saying anything without taking the old one. Now I wish I would have just picked up the new one from the store instead of delivering it.

They never want to give you your money back even with a recipe all they wanna do is give you store credit well maybe I don't want store credit 😏

This place is terrible. Told them I needed garage door trim and they fill out the form and tell you to drive around to the lumber yard to load it. No doors out there are marked with a number or anything so they can tell you what garage to enter. So after walking around for 20 minutes or so looking for the trim I finally see someone on a forklift and wave him down. He says the item I need is located inside of the store. So I walk back into the store and the people at the counter is no help letting you know which aisle to go to. They just tell you it is up in that direction. So after another 10 minutes or so I finally find the trim that the employees said was outside in the yard. Last time I will ever buy any kind of building materials at this place.

Update - I went there a couple of times again and encountered more helpful employees so raised the number of stars. Glad they improved.Orig review: This store can have things that the other location doesn't but what good is that when you can't find the items nor any workers... and if you are lucky enough to find a worker they don't know where the item can be found either and just say "don't know" instead of making any effort to attempt to find it. I prefer the other location... things may be sold out but at least the workers are helpful and if they don't know they'll try to find out.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My husband placed an order online (since I would have no idea what he needed me to get) and placed it as an “order pickup”. Once I got there with my son I went to the order pick up section. There were three guys behind the small counter talking and playing with something on the computer. Not one of them looked up or acknowledged our presence. One of them went to a computer, still not acknowledging us and sat behind the screen. I said hello and that i was there for a pick up. Once i gave the info they said that they had the order info but i would have to go pick it out myself. I was very confused and shared my husband made the order as I did not know what I was doing. They said the order was placed but they don’t pull the product, i do. No one offered to help or show me where to go. Basically i was a huge inconvenience to them. I went up front and asked for a refund and said we wouldn’t be taking home our purchase. I was told to go back and talk to the three guys. No. Once i refused they processed our return. Absolutely horrible service. Will not be buying from here any longer for any of our remodel needs.

Have is awesome when sales are going on. They have an awesome meat dept, seafood dept, cheese, deli just lots of great things Hyvee. They have an awesome hot food dept to get meals and lots different food to choose from.With that said I can say that Hyvee is a lot higher on a lot of things they have vs walmart or county market so you have compare prices. Still great place.

this is one of my favorite places to shop. I generally don't like shopping at all but if I have to go I like this place I don't need much help with stuff as I know what I need or want when I walk in the door. But sometimes what you want is fine if you can find it. and the staff is more then happy to get you there. they take their time and make sure your good before they go onto something else. they don't have that, I'm to busy for you attitude that you get almost every where these days. We know they aren't and that it's just work ethic and attitude. This store doesn't have that . I don't know if it's their screening process or what, but I haven't had a bad attitude to deal with since I've been coming here.The second or third day they were opened. Besides the staff being personable they have the stuff your wanting. I can only think of once or twice that I had to go to another store to get something and not because they didn't carry it but were sold out. Sale items, people love a good deal and if your late you may miss out and that I believe was the case when I did have to go to another store. and if I didn't need it immediately they probably would have had it back in stock in a day or so. I would recommend this store to anyone. If you shop at the north store try this one , you will want to comeback every time.

I'm unfamiliar with the store layout. I needed some pre-assembled fence panels for a fence that I'm putting in my back yard. An employee helped me find the correct screws and torx bits. It was very helpful.The lumberyard out back was another story. I had trouble finding the correct panels and simply wandered around until I found them. Then I loaded them by hand. Loading a 6'x8' panel into the bed of a pickup is a tough task when you're alone. They are large, unwieldy, and awkward. A forklift driver drove by 6 times as I was struggling with the 10 panels that I'd bought. A little assistance would have been very helpful.The prices seemed fair. If you have anything big to load, bring a friend.

They have excellent customer service. Hassle free returns. The paint department is very helpful. If you need help finding something anywhere in the store, an employee will walk you over to the product, instead of pointing in the direction of the item. The store that does that rhymes with Bows 😏

UPDATE: 5/16/2022arrived at store to find 2 of the 3 handicap electric carts parked directly outside of store. Both of them had dead batteries. I went inside and found the 3rd handicap electric cart plugged charging, it too had a dead battery. I do not understand why this continues to be a problem!!!! We need these carts in order to shop at this store.The store has at least 6 handicap parking spaces in the parking lot. Inside the store, they only have TWO partially operating electric carts for handicap people to use while shopping. The carts are old and outdated, difficult to unplug when available and more often than not the batteries die in the middle of the store while shopping. I have addressed this with management multiple times and nothing is done. Today I tried to shop at the store and they had NO electric carts available to use. This is not acceptable for people who have disabilities.

The store was well stocked, like it always is, but then, like always, no Sales Associate asked my daughter or me if there was ANYTHING they could help us with. This is the norm whenever I shop ay Menards. I usually stick with shopping at Lowe's because my experience there is just the opposite of what I get at Menards.I often wonder if I am treated poorly because I am am overweight woman in my 50's with acne scars all over my face. I don't know what else it could be. Does anyone else have this kind of experience?

After checking online to make sure the item I needed was in stock, I drove an hour to this store only to find out they have no clue where that item is and most likely their inventory was wrong. I’d recommend ordering ahead online and make someone else look for items before coming to this location.

I shopped at Lowe's for 27 years. Got fed up with lousy customer service and switched to Menards. The best switch I've made a long time. Love Menards. Costumer service is 5 star.Still top notch. I was wandering in the isles today, not finding what I was looking for. I employee came up asked what I was looking for and walked me over to the items and helped me decide which one I needed. Something that never happened at Lowe's. Menards. 👍👍👍Still number 1. Thank you.

Menards, awesome as always. Absolutely massive selection. You could literally spend hours and hours in there looking through everything. Always clean, always well staffed. You never have to walk more than 1 aisle to find help. There is no better home improvement store. And you can take that to the bank!

Great selection with decent prices. I love their Rebate program although don't expect the rebate to come in a timely fashion. Sometimes it takes up to three months but it's free money back! The head manager was great, I asked him if he could flex on the price a bit as we bought multiple ceiling fans for our church and he helped us out with a great price. He saved us about forty dollars, what a good man!

When leaving menards our truck would not start, (battery and no tools) roadside was over 2 hrs out, lady at service desk helped me by asking employees if anyone would be willing to help us. Thank you Cody and a good customer who stopped to helped us we were able to remove the battery, purchase a new one in store and be on our way!! Thank you menards , Cody and the gentleman who helped that had all the right tools!

Bought a pole barn kit from them and the guy I got was extremely helpful. Answered all questions pointed out things on plans that I didn't think off. Never really ever had a bad experience there. I do think the 11% rebates are little over played

While the store as a whole is great, this review targets a specific product they sell.They have great prices on heat lamps, but we will probably no longer be getting them here...or at least the brand they sell. They explode.Brand name is Feit

The female associate in the plumbing was VERY helpful. It would have been nice if they would have opened up more check outs BEFORE the lines were almost gone though. The cashier was friendly and fast though.
