It's a pretty ghetto and run down store. You got this big dark skin woman eating noodles in the front and some random dude with her looking crazy. Then the old light skin man cussing about his drawer. No greeting, just rang up our stuff and gave the receipt. It's comical and sad at the same time...

Oof all the discount stores in town, this is probably the dirtiest and least well maintained. Even the Family Dollar on South Grand that is repeatedly vandalized and robbed still manages to be cleaner and less choked with garbage. While the clientele of pot-smoking gangsta lowlifes don't help the situation, Dollar General down the street manages to maintain a much cleaner store front while servicing the same people.

Since the store came under new management, there has been a noticeable difference in how neat, clean, well stocked, and inviting this store is. I used to come in and not be able to find anything because the shelves were constantly bare, and the past few weeks it has done a complete 180! The staff has been friendly and always greeted me when I entered, also a welcome change. I will go out of my way to go to this Dollar Tree instead of others in town.

Store not open on time store opened at 9:10am on 7/6 the manager came to the door was EXTREMELY RUDE and said give her cashier didn't show up and locked the door. Good Customer service would have been an apology stating I am sorry about your wait. There were 3 people in the store when we walked in there were about 8 of us and 3 people left. If you have no more pride in your company than to hire rude managers your chain may not last long when the customer is insulted coming in to spend their money that makes for a bad experience. I live close to this dollar tree but I will drive a little further to spend my money and be treated like I am an appreciated customer.I am a very disappointed shopper and I was planning on spending more money but due to the way I was treated I changed my mind.

I like this location, the staff is always friendly! All around dollar tree has some good finds for the price and a lot of quality items. Even with the price increase they still have great items that you won't find that cheap anywhere else.

Had what I was looking for. Plenty stock to choose from. Price is what the name suggests. Everything is one dollar. Plus taxes of course. Good location plenty parking in front of the store. Staff were busy when I was there but it did not stop them from helping and acknowledging us customers with a welcoming presence. Thanks Dollar Tree.

Since when did management approve closing early so employees can leave at closing time? Instead of closing at closing time. I was never in all my years of working retail allowed to lock up before the minute it was closing time.

I was running an errand for my friend's mom. If I was purchasing for me, I would have left my cart & walked out.The store was busy. After waiting in a long line, I was finally next. No one was behind me. The cashier looked at me, informed me it will be awhile & I may want to go in the other line. (Which had at least 6 customers.) She had to go get a cash drawer for the new employee that just got there. Then she walked away.

We have 5 locations here. All but 1 of them are excellent with their stock, display, cleanliness and customer service. The one that is at the bottom of the list is the original store. It is getting better but not as good as the other newer stores.

Was a bit of a surprise I didn't expect that much stuff in a dollar store I ended up buying three items. The only reason I'm not giving it any more stars though is because the place is a little on the messy side. Also as may well be known all the prices are now $1.25

Very busy. Found some of the things I needed and wanted. Very messy and empty. Possibly more staffing needed for recovery efforts. Location was small, but the seemed to have a good layout.

Staff doesn't where masks, so the customers don't not very clean very clean anymore. Kind of sucks. There shelves aren't empty anymore since they raised prices.

This is one of the better one! Freezer and Fridge section. Fresh dairy and eggs. Has seasonal and farely consistent stock of staples. Parking is right in front of the door. Dried beans are often less expensive here than at Walmart! Vegan best buy. If bad weather conditions strike, this is the one to choose in Springfield, IL Only draw back is lines can get long during major commute times and lunch. They do their best!

Really cruel to not have a public restroom for shoppers during a pandemic when a lot of places are closed. Ended up leaving my cart so i could go to a bathroom and got what I needed there...

Well everything's a dollar and there's a good selection. Obviously a dollar tree on MacArthur isn't going to be the nicest place ever but for the value it's phenomenal. Burlington right next door.

Dollar Tree has the best prices in town. They have items that will cost you dollars elsewhere. Dollar Tree shopper for life...
