Big Booty Judy was more concerned about arguing with her kids on the phone to be pleasant to her customers. Uncomfortable, unprofessional and rude. And she put cleaning products in with food. She was literally cussing on the phone while she was checking us out. I spent $150 and I will take it elsewhere next time.

I stopped by really quickly today to grab some ice cube trays. When I got to the register the cashier was standing outside the door smoking. He finally realized I was waiting and came inside. He reeked so badly of cigarettes I could barely breathe. I got 3 3-packs of trays. The price on the label was $1 per 3 pack. He instead charged me $9 plus tax, $1 per tray. I didn't notice until I got home because frankly I was just concentrating on holding my breath until I could grab my bag and go. This DG is always very seedy and I will avoid it from now on.

Lots if things empty on shelves but lots of full boxes sitting around in the way. Maybe short of help. Lots of people part in handicap spaces that have no stickers. To add the north grand and I think first still do not have much in household items but the refill the food regularly. Store in Southern View and the one further down north grand near Keckless are better stocked..

The store as a chain is fine, but this location always suffers because of the clientele that just rips the place apart. They really need one or two more employees just to constantly clean and straighten the shelves. You can't blame the employees on hand or the management of the store. The corporate office needs to realize that this location either needs more security, more eyes and hands in play, or relocated to a better place.

Normally have average service and product here.(5-8-20) Had very poor service.(6-16-20) Had decent/good service.It’s hit or miss in terms of customer service and friendliness.Recently (after their fire), the staff seems to have improved a bit. They’ve got a guy working there that has been genuinely nice every visit.

The aisles were a little cluttered but otherwise not too bad. I was able to find what I needed. It took quite a while to check out as there was only one checker. More checkers and less clutter would have made it a more pleasant shopping experience.

The staff is usually hit or miss. The male employees always seems cheery and willing to help, whilst the female employees usually scowl and barely speak.Facility is usually in a constant state of change due to all of the stocking, so aisles are usually cramped. Very wide selection though, and its a quiet atmosphere.

Very disturbing. Went to this store to purchase some envelopes. While I was in line to check out, a customer began berating another customer about not wearing a mask. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that the cashier not only allowed that behavior, but actually encouraged it. To my knowledge, Dollar General's policy is to require masks for their patrons but employees do not have the right to refuse service. Even then, I sincerely doubt any general manager would delegate the authority to abusive customer service to a cashier.This is not an issue about whether a mask should or should not be required. Dollar General may establish and enforce whatever policies it deems necessary... and customers may choose to spend their money wherever they please. However, it is not appropriate for a cashier to personally antagonize a customer or allow others to do the same.

It's a 50/50 with the staff as the assistant manager doesn't seem to have people skills and seems rude most all the time. This store out of the 7 I've visited in Springfield is the worst setup, least helpful, never stocked correctly and prices seem to be above other stores. If I didn't live so close I'd not visit this store again

This place is gross. Merchandise is all over the floor in boxes and good luck finding anything on the shelves. Stocking ladders were in quite a few isles. It looked like there was only one employee in the store and her attitude matched the way the place looked.

The cashier that worked 8/4/20 at 130 pm was on point and sweet. Had a long line and she busted through like Superwoman lol. The store was very well maintained and stocked.

Not friendly. My snuggle wasnt ringing up 2/8 like advertised instead 2/9. She didnt wanna do anything about it. Then a few days ago went in and the manager "Michael" tried to tell me i could only use 1 manufacturer coupon period per transaction. I had 5 all different no duplicates. He tried telling the employee that he can only accept 1/ trans. Someone needs to retrain this "manager" on coupons and give him a copy of the coupon policy!

I'm at the Wabash store at least 2 or 3 this mes a week. The new manager is doing a great job getting the store updated. It was crowded today, by t a lot of shipments came in. Looking forward to the final phase.

I have always liked DG. The staff is always quick to acknowledge you. The stores, for the most part, are well-stacked. The $1 only aisle should be a must for everyone. I'll conclude this review, with a mini review.I go to DG's as often as I can because they always have JJ's Bakery fruit pies. The best 2 for a dollar snack pie ever. The pies are soft. A little flat. Gently glazed on the outside and filled with love on the inside. Apple and peach are my favorite.

Generally speaking, the store is always well stocked. If an item is not there in its slot, it will probably be there in a few days. The staff is friendly, and would be happy to assist you in any way that you could need.

It is usually well stocked and clean, cleaner than most I've been in!! The employees, who change quite often, are always helpful and polite!! It's also well organized!!

I found everything on my list with no problems. The cashier was very pleasant with a wonderful smile. The store was in total chaos and filthy with very crowded aisles.

I shop at Dollar general all the time. The one problem I find is merchandise is in the aisles so it looks a bit messy. The people working there are very helpful.

This dollar general is small and cramped,but for convienance it can't be beat. There are others that are bigger but they are further away from my home. The staff is friendly and I will go again.Edit: this store is currently closed due to fire damage.

I like shopping at Dollar general for that quick item that you may need so you don't have to run to Walmart you can avoid all the crowd shopping at Dollar general

I went to Dollar General 2-7-20, anyway I was buying food and hygiene product..in the chips isle they had puff corn but only butter and flaming hot-no cheese..when I checked out the cashier said we aren't giving cash back today...i didn't like it.

Not that great! Most of the stuff is not there. All the stuff inside the store is mostly expired. They are not filling up the things, once someone buys the thing, they don't even bother to stock it up!

Extremely disorganized store, things laying in the aisles everywhere a very bad tripping hazard. Manager has a problem with white people...extremely rude and unhelpful..terrible management of this store.
