Had an amazing family day here. All of their food is freshly made in house. We got a lot of different things. Pumpkin bars, popcorn, apple cider slushy, coffee, Carmel corn puffs, red hots, sauces, apple butter, pumpkin apple butter and apple fritters. The place is very clean, and their staff is very friendly. When you're outside there's bathrooms and food stands. There is a very fun children's area. It's $10.00 per person. Including adults just walking around. 57 years old and older get in free. The apple cider slushy is a must we bought 3 of them. Great place. I want to make this a fall tradition.

Tanner's Orchard is a fantastic destination for family fun. You'll find a delightful mix of activities that make it a perfect place to spend quality time with your kids. From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed by the friendly goats and chickens, offering a unique opportunity for kids and adults to pet and feed the farm animals. Please bring quarters because the feed machines require two quarters each time. The corn maze and playground provide hours of entertainment for the little ones, and the huge jump pad adds an extra dose of excitement. Plus, there are pony rides on weekends. There are many seasonal activities including apple and pumpkin picking. This spot can be a good choice for hosting kids' birthday parties and other events.I recommend stopping by the on-site store, where you can indulge in farm-fresh delights. Their apple cider is a must-try. In addition, they also sell donuts, honey, baked goods, and a lot of other stuff. This is definitely one of our top choices for spending quality time with kids.

Had a blast! This place is huge and packed. The store was amazing. We also LOVED that we could bring our fur-baby! We'll be back. The food, the corn maze and the shops were utterly awesome!

First time visiting. Huge store, bakery section, sit down area to eat inside including the green house area. Variety of baked goods and the “free” smells are worth it. We enjoyed sampling the cider from the tap, small apple and other treats at the sample bar. Large selection of mums, pumpkins and plenty to do with the kids outside. The goat bungalow and bridge is neat to see.

Wonderful!! We have to come to Tanners every year because it's just awesome. There's fun outside activities, plenty of spots to get some cute fall pictures, lots of cute animals, and so many delicious treats inside! At the beginning of our day there, we got an apple cider donut and hot cocoa. Sooooo goood! And before we left, I had to get the apple pie sundae! Fantastic! Be sure to look through their entire bakery, and get some apple cider to take home.

Loved this place..Kids and family enjoyed the visit. They have different types of apples. Went for apple picking and had an awesome experience. They also have pumpkin picking. You also get to see the farm animals. There is a corn maze play area and a lot of other stuff to enjoy. They also have a marketplace. A time well spent, will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Excellent, as always! We have been going there for years and always look forward to it! So much to see and do! Many photo ops! Kids will love the animals, train rides, pumpkins and apples and so much more! Lots of gifts and goodies to buy! Coffee and sweets and/or buy some lunch! There’s plenty of places to sit and something for everyone to enjoy!

Great family fun, a yearly tradition. Had a great time in the corn maze. Enjoyed the gift shop, but didn't buy anything because it is a little to over priced. The food and treats are great, I had a carmal apple muffin and a hot apple cider. 🍎 delicious!

Lots of family fun for $10 per person, and free for anyone under 3. Dogs allowed for sale rates as people but it might be a bit much with all the animals (goats, chickens, rabbits, alpacas, and unicorns. That's right, UNICORNS!) Lots of cool outdoor activities and things to do, good food, and of course anything apple!

Tanner’s is a huge place. There is a lot to do for all ages such as shopping the goodies, having a bite to eat, a playground for kids, apple and pumpkin picking and a corn maze with scavenger hunt.Everything is accessible for a decent fee, however. Even the kiddie playground will cost you so come prepared to spend some $$.It was $8 a person to access the corn maze and most goodies to take home are $7.99 and up. Bring your quarters if you want food to feed the goats.Overall a good experience and will want to return next year.

We always love going to Tanner's! With young kids, there's so much for them to do! Mine love visiting the goats, chickens and bunnies and then running thru the Back 40 and climbing in and out of the big equipment! Then there's the food...everything is amazing and so delicious! We love the donuts and the corn salsa! It can get expensive, but it's a special treat, so I've accepted it. We also try to go on a weekday evening to beat the crowds and the cost. It's one of our favorite fall traditions.

Huge places with lots to offer! Tons of parking, things to buy and activities to do! We looked at the goats, attempted the corn maze and shopped at the market. My boyfriend and I wanted to try the big farm up north by Wisconsin, but this was much closer and probably just as good. This will be our fall tradition from now on.

Apple's! Took my wife here with the kids for her birthday to pick apples and get some pumpkins. We also walked the corn maze. Wonderful fall season family outing without breaking the budget! Highly recommend!!

Review Date: October 7th, 2012From a fun-n-unique orchard to a nickel-n-dime tourist trap. With any great increase in popularity comes change. Some of those changes can be positive; some of those changes can be negative. Over the years, Tanners has gone the negative route.I originally visited this place back in 2009, back before I started my travels. At the time, it was a popular place with fair prices and nothing too crazy. They had plenty to do for an afternoon and we made the best of it. We showed up, spent only a few bucks on some apple-flavored items and made our exit as the sun went down. Fast forward a few years to 2012 and things changed. In 2012, prices started to creep up on everything. The things I remember being fairly-priced were starting to teeter on the side of scalping/gouging. Parents that I knew who went complained that they were being charged to enter the play area with their kids. This used to be free. While I am sounding a bit dramatic, there is still plenty of stuff to do despite them charging more and more for everything to do out there. In 2012, we went through a corn maze for about $5-10 a person, which was fair, in my opinion. We got to pet the goats and feed the animals for the cost of a few quarters. With any great rapid explosion in popularity comes change. I understand prices may have needed to increase to help pay for the increase in demand, but it is getting borderline crazy on them nickel-n-diming everyone. Take this as a warning to any parents taking their kids there… expect to pay a good amount there for anything. If you are going with friends, then you can be prepared to pay more but still get by with spending minimal amount of cash, if you are being frugal.Granted, it has been 7+ years since I have been there, but I haven’t heard them getting any cheaper. I do plan on visiting in 2019, so I can update this post with any additional information (and correct anything I am wrong about).I will end this on an amusing anecdote. When I came here with my friends, I never had apple cider before. At the entrance, they had free samples with no limit. I put down 5-7 samples as I loved the taste of the ciders they offered. Fast forward to work that night (I was working 3rds at the time) and the cider turned from delicious drink to detrimental digestion discharge. It was a painful lesson on what consuming too much cider can do to you.

Our kids had a lot of fun picking apples. They drive you out to the apple on a trailer pulled by a tractor. It was maybe the busiest place we have been to in the Peoria area. Bring change, they have little coin machines to buy food to feed goats and chickens. There is a little concession stand type thing there with burgers, nachos, brats etc. Great family friendly environment, very friendly employees. Comparable to Eckerts apple picking in Belleville if you are familiar.

SUPER expensive and hours are really bad. Don't show up at 3:30, try to figure anything out and still pick apples. Last apple picking is at 4:15. Would have been great to know before driving 2.5 hours. The kids play area is all but good. They charge you for your dog to go apple picking. They should have paid me because my dog was more of an attraction then their goats by far. Also, don't waste your money on the corn maze. Game is a gimic and maze is easy enough for a 5 yr old that lasts all of perhaps 10 minutes if you keep going in. Go to Tanners if you want to spend a lot of money, wait 45 minutes to park, wait 45 minutes to go in to store and not be able to figure out where to even buy tickets for the attractions. No signage to guide you. Guess that is how they make thier money. Keep guests confused and spending money for something they didn't want to do. Here are pics of thier overpriced pumkin patch.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Tanner's Orchard! My wife and I traveled all the way from Arizona and had the pleasure of visiting on August 31st, just before the apple picking season officially began on September 2nd.What truly made our visit exceptional was the incredibly friendly staff at Tanner's Orchard. We were excited to try apple picking for the first time, and even though we were there a bit early, Mrs. Tanner and the staff made a special exception for us. They granted us permission to go apple picking, creating a memorable experience that we'll cherish forever. The staff went above and beyond by helping us identify the perfect apples for picking. Their knowledge and guidance made the experience even more enjoyable. It's clear that they are passionate about what they do and are committed to ensuring that visitors have the best possible time. The warm and welcoming atmosphere at Tanner's Orchard, coupled with their exceptional customer service, has left a lasting impression on us. We can't wait to return during the actual apple picking season to enjoy this fantastic place once again. If you're looking for a memorable and family-friendly orchard experience, Tanner's Orchard is the perfect destination.

Love this orchard! No cost to get in but everything cost something. Prices are decent. The store selection is huge if you just want to shop and not hit the field. Otherwise, petting zoo, snacks, maze, picking apples, fun zone it's all a blast.

There is not a better fall experience that tops this place. Any age can find something to cherish and enjoy here. So happy we made the trip from Geneseo for a 2nd year in a row after moving to Illinois. Already planning a 2nd trip b4 things wrap up. Even if we don't get to pick any apples 2nd time around we got lost in everything you can do. Also the apple cider donuts is a must.

Great fun here! Go during the week if you want to beat crowds and not pay as much for attractions. Only downside is some things aren’t operational during the weekdays (like the ride out to apple pick so you walk out and a few things in the back 40) but the cost savings are worth it and worth it for less of a crowd! Planning to go back in October :-)

Between the apple cider donuts and slushies, this place is always a must. Animals to feed, Big play area with tons of things to do. From 4 wheeler cycling, miniature golf, mining for stones and more. Always look forward to them opening each season.

This is always a great place to take your kid. Festival days are even better. It's been a while since I have been here but the memories as a kid came back quickly. My son had a blast! He couldn't get enough of feeding the goats 🐐 honestly it's expensive for the little amount you get. We got nachos and a pretzel with snow cones. It was hard trying to carry all of that. A drink carrier would help tremendously. It was fun picking all the different flavors. They also made sure to keep those wiped off. There was so much to offer. My son took the barrel ride, pony ride, face paint, and a few other activities. Overall he really enjoyed himself 😊

Nice place for the family to spend the day. Beautiful store with great things to buy and look at. It doesn't cost to get in except certain areas for the kids but they make up for it in the things they do charge for.I got some peach and cream cheese muffins, they are amazing!

What an awesome orchard! We went late in the season last year and only visited the store. This year it was packed so we had to park on the back side of the orchard and we got to see how much cool stuff they have for all the family fun! They have a food truck, coffee truck, cider truck, cafe, amazing store and more.We did not do the pick your own this time but may come back for that!

Great place for a family outing!! Fresh fruits, salsas, dips, candles, donuts, & household decorations, they have it all! Come get a sample of apple cider, have lunch in their newly remodeled restraunt & let the kids pay on the playground! You will definitely enjoy the day!

Amazing place! The market has some tasty pastries and treats, & the cider is the best I've ever had! There's also livestock and you can feed the goats, which was a cool little experience in itself. Then there's the large activities area where children can play, and it's even fun for the adults too. Lots of benches to sit down and relax while the kids play. Overall, really great experience for an apple orchard.
