Russo has been a major player in supplying the Chicagoland landscaping world with all their needs. For as long as I can remember my family has been doing business with this company. This location has everything you can think of from equipment and parts to fertilizer and seed. The show room is pretty amazing and fun to browse. The service center is also very useful when you need some equipment repaired. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and always helpful.

Didn't catch the guy's name on the fork left who loaded my truck, that guy rocks! He was the one working Wednesday afternoon loading trucks. Also George and Simon helped me out, my tire was about flat they got me over to where I needed to be and help me put some air in my tire. Give all 3 of them a raise and a day off! It's so hard to find good help these days, if these guys ever want a job let me know they can work for me.

Brought my Stihl leaf blower in for coil repair and tune up a month ago. They are supposedly a certified Stihl repair shop. I also plan to inform Stihl about my experience. Paid about $170. When I tried it, the coil was still broken and so I brought it back. I brought it back on 10/3/23 and it’s 10/21/23 they said it would be a couple days, I keep having to call them daily even though they promise each time to call me. Today I spoke to Emily, she said she had authority to work with me but she does not. She’s going to talk to Jay the store manager and call me back. She would not put Jay on the phone. Not only did they never repair it, but the service is terrible. I have called about 10 times and each time they give me a different story and no one calls me back. I cannot believe anyone has had a good experience there! I just want my money back and my leaf blower back so that I can take it elsewhere at this point.

Buyer online BEWARE!!! They overcharge for shipping!!! When you return the item you ordered in the same package they sent to you and you can ship it back at a fraction of the cost, you just have to eat the cost and difference. (Example: they charge $14 for shipping, but you can ship it to them for $5). Not good customer service or business!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I went in looking for some parts for my landscape trailer. The gentleman that helped me was so kind and patient. He took his time helping me with my order and answering all my questions. And when we left they gave my 2 year old popcorn! Definitely recommend this place!

Went to Russo to have our Toro snow blower fixed on November 9, 2022. Our vehicle couldn't haul it and Russo offers a pickup and delivery service which we were told was $25.00 each way. We felt that was reasonable and went ahead with wanting to schedule the service. What we were not told was that it would be 2 to 3 weeks before they would schedule the pick up. We learned that after a week went by and we called and were told we were on the list and the scheduler would call. Another week went by no call. Called again just before Thanksgiving, no one could tell us when the scheduler would call. Then we were thinking after it was picked up we had no idea how long it would take them to fix and return. This is the worst lack of communication we have experienced. Needless to say we found another company that fixed our machine within 1 week. This is unacceptable business practice.

What can I say!! Russo’s service is unmatched especially when you’re dealing with Bobby the Salt Man. I am a small commercial snow plowing contractor and they treat me as if I am there biggest and most important customer. I have been using them for over 10 years and I am loyal to them as much as they are loyal to me. Keep up the good work Russo team.Kleen Earth snow and ice Management.

Sales department… Specifically George and Luis. Cero experience answering questions about equipment and communication skills locked. They need to improve in Sales Department. I’m totally disappointed with this guys. Is a shame for Russo Power Equipment have this kind a people for sales.Emily in service department was much better.I bought a new hot pressure washer supposedly ready to work and when I try to use it ,,, the water heater battery was useless. We pay a good money for this equipment and avoid complications. Is very frustrating to back to the store for see if they can help you and more importantly the way they treat to you. Finally Jenny ( Sales Supervisor) took action and after 3 hours waiting in the parking lot , she resolve my problems.

I’m not one to leave a bad review but this one deserves it.. We had the store manager tell us they “can’t find” our account in order to identify the model for a replacement part we needed. We were already at the parts desk 15-20 minutes before closing time & I’m not sure if this had anything to do with it. Either way coming from the store manager I would’ve thought some effort would’ve been put in to help us find the right apart instead of “we can’t find your account”. I know for a fact they never had trouble finding my account when I had to spends thousands at the store.

Went in to drop off my lawnmower that I had actually bought from Home Depot and they still took it in & repaired it . Reasonable repair fee . And got it back with in 5 business days . Oddly enough it works better than I remember. Great service. They text and call to let you know when you can pick up your equipment.

I bought a lawnmower a Troy Bilt tb210 in August 2021 within one year the beginning of Jun 2022 I had a problem with it, the front wheels wouldn't turn since it was a power drive. I contacted MTD and they said no problem it was under warranty. MTD told me to contact Russo since that was their authorized service dealer. So, I called Russo brought the mower in on 9 Jun 2022, after a couple of weeks i get a call from Russo that the mower was beyond repair and not covered under warranty, Fault as indicated was "inside of blade adapter transferred to crankshaft, repair not covered, unit hit something and broke the blade adapter, needs new engine/bade adapter. well after a paid $45 dollars for them to look at it, I went to pick it up. I then turned to YouTube videos and after several months of looking I repaired it myself. Engine was fine it just needed a 30.00 blade adapter which Russo should have done. I informed MTD of my total anger of Russo situation. Sorry for the long remarks but people need to know, unfortunately I can't go lower than 1 star. Don't go to Russo 9525 w Irving Park Road.

Very professional and amazing service. I bought a chainsaw and was told about how reasonable their salt for winter was. You better believe I came back. Plus you don’t need to buy bulk or have a business license. Top notch family owned business.

I dropped off a piece of equipment 15 days ago. It needed a simple hose change. The guy told me that it would be done in a couple of days because they were backed up. However he really meant it would be checked in a couple of days. I called everyday this machine was in their shop and everyday I heard that they were going to look at it or there was someone looking at it. So finally they look at it and give me the estimate of the repair on the hose which I expected to be around that price. After all that if you call them and ask them about the status of the repair they don't know and have to put you on hold for 20 minutes to find out. Seems like they need to be a little more organized over there.The repairs are quality work but jeez how can I be expected to have my equipment down for 2 weeks? When you call for an update all you get back is that they will call you which they never do or that they are doing something or in the process of things. This place should not be in business. I ill not be using them again.

Customer Service is gone, I don't recognize Russo, definitely not my first choice anymore. Its now become a last resort if all else fails. This place has zero energy, sales used to know prices and stock. Hand enough getting some of the sales staff off their duffs for any assistance. For sure they all have a large beverage and cell phones in hand not tending to the business. So much for work ethics anymore. Russo is coasting, I'm finding independent dealers much more willing to help and work on price.

The oil filter I received in a tune up kit for a 2015 (and up) Timecutter was defective or incorrect. On start up the oil blew everywhere. Put the old filter back on and bought more oil since theirs was all over my garage floor. In spring I will remove the other parts installed from this kit and install an OEM kit. FYI, the Timecutter oil capacity is 67.6oz, not the 64oz supplied.

Just bought 2 Redmax blowers from here and couldn't be happier with the customer service. I talked to Luis Gomez (Sales Associate) a week prior to buying them and when I called to have them assembled the day I was ready to buy, he had them ready to go in a cart for me. Hands down would recommend this guy to anyone looking to buy a piece of equipment from here. Definitely will be bringing him all my business in the near future.

It was a pleasure shopping at Russo. Their sales staff is excellent. The gentleman stayed with us the entire time showing us different models & answering our questions. He tested the product we purchased to make sure it ran properly without any problems. He even carried our purchases to our car. All my future purchases will be at Russo.
