I was taking our dog here regularly. I enjoyed Sarah and so did our dog. I missed an appointment as I was in the hospital having our second baby. I’ve now tried to schedule a couple of times and haven’t heard back. I guess no sympathy for life events… I had never missed an appointment prior to this. Very disappointing.

Traumatized my puppy. I went here a few times with good luck, however when i brought in a new puppy, I was appalled by the behavior of the groomer. This happened about 2.5 years ago. Scott started to cut nails but my puppy was scared. He screamed and yelled at her at the top of his lungs while gripping her nape very aggressively. It was enough to startle even me. He then got up after just a couple minutes and said, "Nope im not fighting with dogs today, im done". He put my pup on the other side of gate. I noticed she was bleeding and asked if he could use the quick stop and when I asked his response was, "what's bleeding? she didn't even let me cut anything?"... I told him there was blood all over the floor and he came and put the stuff on to stop it. The fact that he didn't realized she yelped and fought him because he cut her left me shocked. Haven't been back since and wont return or recommend. Since then it's been hard getting her nails trimmed because she is so scared now. She's a Carin Terrier with a keen memory.

We've been taking our dogs to this groomer for at least a couple of years. I have nothing but kudos & recommendations forthem. Not only do they make the dogs beautiful, they all are dog lovers & treat them with ❤️Now we’ve been taking our dogs to have Sarah groom them for more than 8 years. I would never consider taking them elsewhere. Truly a wonderful place if you want someone to do a terrific job grooming who treat fur babies with care and love.

Scott is a true professional groomer! He is the only person I have found in Rockford who knows how to groom a West Highland Terrier. The staff is amazing and they are always so kind.

Sarah was wonderful with our rescue dog Payton, a mini Golden. Payton’s pretty much afraid of everything, sounds, objects, new people, etc. She was never socialized as a pup. Sarah was very patient and loving with Payton. She made her first grooming appt a successful experience.

Enjoyed taking my lab here for grooming for a few years until they stopped returning my calls for making appointments. After a few attempts both phone, voicemail and text without any response, I figured they just were not interested in my continued business. I’ve heard they prefer smaller dogs. Maybe that needs to be communicated better.

Had a great experience for my first time. They groomed my dog very well, he smelled great and looked great. His happiness was high, so I'm forced to assume he had a good time! The owner was friendly and helpful with my post-grooming questions. He also gave me some tips and a unique grooming tool. Good times.EDIT: Adjusting down to 4/5 stars. Had a run in with a super rude groomer. Not the owner Scott, it was an employee. Unfortunately, I'm choosing not to go back because of her. Is it petty? Maybe. Just make sure you speak with Scott if you're a new client. He's always been super nice and he'll take care of you.

Had a good experience the first time we went, they gave us good advice on how to get our dog most comfortable with being groomed and referred us to a good trainer. However, we tried to get in again and they didn't answer their phones. Left a voicemail and never got a call back. My fiancee took our dog in to get his nails trimmed and tried to make an appointment then. His number was taken down but we never got a call back. We ended up going back to a different groomer because of the difficulty getting an appointment. Would have loved to go back here but it's not worth the hassle.

I've been taking my Bichon/Miniature Poodle mix to Sarah at To the Nines for 3-4 years now. ZuZu hears me mention Sarah, and she gets so excited! She does an awesome job on her and is worth every dollar of her fee...and then some! You can tell she loves her clients, and they love her too!!!

I use to take all of my dogs to Scott who always did an AMAZING job on my girls!!! All the groomers there are so nice and it's obvious they love what they do!!! Scott was always willing to work with me!!!My one furbaby had very little hair on her body and no hair on her tail due to a skin problem. Scott knew exactly what to do!! Within a very short time, my furbaby had beautiful silky hair from head to toe and everywhere in between!!!!My girls were so HAPPY after they were groomed. They all looked and smelled FANTASTIC.

Family. Kalli is our groomer and she is very professional and an expert. My dog loves her. You pay for what you get & my dog gets the best. To the nines is worth your time and money. Be patient with them as they are maintaining your dog & this is not easy to do.

First I was impressed by the cleanliness. Grooming tables, etc were all where you can watch your pet being groomed. Didn't have to wait because they didn't over schedule. The people were so pleasant. *** But most importantly my cat really trusted them***I even dropped off business cards at my vet so they can give them to their clients. Forgot to mention that it was my cat Charlie

It was my 1st visit here so I was a bit nervous but after I talked to the staff a little bit and after I picked up Zoe I knew that the staff treated the dogs with much care and attention. I have a rescue from 2 years in someone’s backyard year round. She is so afraid. I brought her in 5 or 6 times to cut her toenails. I never had a dog with nails that grew so fast. Each time I have brought her in I had fantastic service. Highly recommend.

Scott is the only guy that my little Yorkie will allow to groom her. I've tried two other places and she tries to bite them and they can't finish the job. She loves going there. Scott is the greatest.

I have one of the sweetest, friendliest puppies you will ever meet. He loves people and other dogs. I brought my five-month-old Mini Goldendoodle here for a puppy cut. He was groomed previously at Petco and did great. When I went to pick up my dog several hours later, the To The Nines staff told me they were unable to do a complete grooming. They had nothing but negative things to say about the breed and my dog. First of all, they do not require vet records and they let the dogs run around loose. They also stated that dogs shouldn't be groomed until they're four months old, which is inaccurate. Puppies need to be groomed early and often so they get used to it. My dog was traumatized from his experience here. They said that he barked and scratched in the kennel the whole time he was there. I asked them why they didn't call me, and they indicated that he needed to be "taught a lesson." They also told me that my dog needed to be "straightened out before it was too late." After that, they referred me to a trainer. The trainer said that my puppy shouldn't have been around those other dogs in the first place, and that he was behaving the way puppies behave. Do yourself and your dog a favor and don't go here!

From the moment you walk in til the moment you pick up your pup. All you see are happy dogs and happy employees....my dog is a hyper mess....and they had no issues with him at all. Have been to a couple other groomers before finding this wonderful place!! An absolute gem of a place! I'm possibly moving, and the thought of finding a new groomer makes me sick and sad. Definitely highly recommend this groomer to many different breeds. I have 3 dogs; Maltese who's gone blind since first starting there and has adapted quite well, Shih Tzu, and a teddy (cross between a Shih Tzu and a Bichon Frise). They do a wonderful job and my boys all love everyone there!!
