Vet recommended my dog get his tail redone, I had bought my dog with his tail docked already. I was coming in just for his ears. Lets just say it led to my dog getting a bacterial infection and I'm out 1000 dollars now. I didn't want to even touch his tail, but the Vet assisted, and said if I didn't get it done now my dog will have a scar forever, because it was not done properly. My dog was in pain for weeks. No pain medicine was giving, I had to to take him to the Er. Where they actually gave my dog a cone to help the wound heal, proper medicine, and treatment. This vet had me buy a cone, and the stated I didn't buy the right one. Money hungry and rude to women was very nice to my Dad though. If you love your dog do not bring him here, I feel like a failure for bringing my dog to this place. If you notice they never address any of their bad reviews. Red flag.

Took my dog here for care, followed Dr. Tahir orders and returned a week later for a follow up. Everything was going well until I asked if they could have her records faxed to her primary vet.Dr. Tahir gets upset and tells me that what he did for my dog was general and proceeds to tell me that he services poor people and that he doesn't have a computer in the office. I paid over $200. He says his prices are the cheapest around and that I should go to a fancy place where they print out 5 pages. I respond it doesn't have to be printed it can be written. He says it would be $45 for him to give me my dogs records. I respond that's ridiculous. He says I would have to raise my prices for print outs. He says you also called me to ask the name of the medicine. You should go to one of those fancy places he repeats.Dr. Tahir you stated you service "poor people." Does that mean that we are not entitled to the same rights as others? Stop acting as if you're doing the neighborhood a favor with your prices. Perhaps you should fully retire if you can't keep up with the demands of your job. If I go to a store I get a receipt, regardless of the price or area. It doesn't matter if it's written or printed.

This doctor has no respect for women, and he's money hungry if you love your pet, please don't bring them here. I brought my dog here for ear cropping only, he convinced us our dog tail needed to be recut, because the people who originally did it left scarring, we asked if we could think the tail over, just do the ears, he said no it needs to be done immediately. After the surgery he told us the dangerous side effects of it getting infected, he could die etc but he didn't tell us this before we had the surgery done. Our dog was too big to get the tail recut he is very active and everything, his stitches came open he charged us full price to re-sew it again & blamed us, saying if it bustes open a 3rd time we will pay again. He put wired stitches in that made his tail worst and they were loose. We ended up taking our dog to the emergency room, they took the stitches out and said it made it worst & it was inffected. This doctor didn't give us any medication the first time, he told us to buy our own stuff. He was very rude to me and my sister we are woman he had no respect then I brought my dad in his tone changed and he was nicer, I told him to his face about his rude behavior and being sexist towards women. Never returning and I won't my money back for the horrible tail surgery he did, he almost caused my dog to lose his life, trying to be greedy for money he needs to be shut down.

I went today because I was referred there by a family member, and now after reading the reviews I did not experience any of this behavior posted. The vet was vey pleasant as well as the staff and I will be returning for the great care, service, and price.

Took my dog here for shots and an ear infection. Doc barely looked in her ear and gave me this story of how this was incurable but treatable. 1 option was to leave her for ear flushing and antibiotics or the 2nd option a shot and take home meds. He fake typed on the calculator and told me $479 for 1st option while the calculator had $9!!! Then he fake typed again and told me $269 the calculator said $2436.. When I said I didn’t want any of those treatments he told me ok goodbye and didn’t even give my dog her shots! But made sure to remind me if we came back it’s another $25 office fee.

This so call vet clinic does not deserve any stars . STAY AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET . THIS VETERINARIAN IS A CON . This place is very dirty and out dated. The so call Veterinarian talked in circle about the treatment plan. When I asked how much, the VET started pressing numbers on the calculator . The price that was given wasn't even the amount on the calculator. The Vet never touched my dog and recommended treatment for $389. After fusing treatment the Vet was very rude and just walked out of the office. I would not recommend this place to anybody. All they want is your money.

Hi guys I gotta tell you after reading the reviews I was terrified of this place and meeting the doctor was an experience. I mean he talked very fast as if was very busy. But I took a chance anyway ....and wow I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! he did a awesome job on my pups ear crop...the best I've seen....I will follow up with Gucci pictures b4 and after👌🔥🔥👍 thanks doc.

Horrible experience. My dog was traumatized and misdiagnosed. This clinic is wildly out of date and the Dr is too old and not up to date. If you love your dog, please don’t take them here. The Dr kept trying to upsell me products - an insurance plan and a shot with pain killers and antibiotics - but said it was only inflammation. Why would you give antibiotics? The vet then sent my dog away with no pain meds (because I refused the $200 shot) and told me the limp was because he needed to lose weight. When the symptoms worsened I took my Rottweiler to a REAL animal hospital and was informed he has cancer and a short time to live. No problem with getting pain meds from that Dr. I’ve since found out that this is a known issue with large breed dogs, especially Rotts. The vet in Riverdale should have known. AND, my dog is not overweight so I was starving him unnecessarily.

Con man. Came for a flea bath for my cat. Was told it was just allergies until I pointed out the flea bites. Price changed from $170 to $392. When I asked why. I was told by the doctor he wasn’t waisting time with me. I have money to pay but want to know exactly what I’m paying for. Very poor customer service and bed side manner

Just wanna start this off by saying I am not getting paid for this but if you are going for a reasonable price this is the spot.. the vet is going to try to sale you every thing under the sun but he does care about your dog /animal. I have 2 dogs I take them both there an for shots he is the man but the people up front don’t know anything about animals. His ear cropping is the best. It could be cleaner but hey come in get what you need an go home.

I’m sorry I had to give this place a 1 star. I was referred to this place from my breeder who has referred all of his adoption parents. I read all the reviews and was hesitant about taking my fur baby to him. After my husband insisted I took him there against my better judgement. Based on first impressions the office was dingy, needing a coat of paint and the floor was dirty. In the exam room the vet barely look at my baby and then started to tell me how much his services were and started adding up to double the price of anywhere else. Once I asked for better price he began to tell me to take my dog somewhere else. I only asked a question very politely. We got past that incident just for me to call my husband to ask if that would be ok. As soon as my husband answered the phone the vet said I could hang up the phone if we are going to ask for a better price, in which that wasn’t even the case. I felt he was rude, unprofessional and actually a bit of a A-hole! Just wanted to let you know try Foster Kennels Richton Park reasonable price and great service. That’s where I went once I was insulted. No payment for this suggestion but if your like me I trust referrals. They care about your babies!

A HARD NOOOOOO!I will never take my dog here ever again. The veterinarian here rushes through examinations & talks down to pet owners as if we all are uneducated and living in poverty. Based on our conversation, he believes that African Americans has a place in this life & we need stay in our lane. He is very snippy & disrespectful. I wouldn't take my pet to him based on how he feels about humans. Makes me wonder about the value he has for animals and what would he do to my pet?

It’s the most reasonably priced in my area. The vet is intimidating and you have to really ask about where your money is going or else he won’t explain much. He did help my cats ear infection and eye tremendously....so I can’t complain much! I’m not sure if the other anti inflammatory medications were helpful though and he told us to continue it for another week...so just be cautious but I do think it’s worth a shot if your desperate!

I paid the $ 25 plus 182 dollars for medications.office is in poor condition. The key words “I’m retired I not trying to get your money”

You pay for what you get. You pay for shots you get shots and that's it. No physical or exam. The office is not clean. Highly visible dog and cat shedding on the floor. The front desk worker is very inexperienced and not knowledgeable about animals at all.

The vet is very unprofessional. He does not take time to listen to your concerns about your pet. He just recommends and leaves the exam room. The clinic is old and unsanitary. I would never recommend this place and the money had nothing to do with the service.

Do not use these people!!! I boarded my dog there for the weekend, left him with a large bag of dog food and a fresh grooming. I returned to pickup my dog up whose paws, legs, and back were full of feces residue that they tried to wipe off, he was thin and dehydrated, and they charged me for shots I had already paid them for.ispoke with the Vet and he was very argumentative and unconcerned!!!yi also found out my dog stayed in the cage the entire three days!

This place I paid to boarder my healthy dog for a week and my dog came back weak, dehydrated hungry, listless, almost unresponsive to a call to his name. He was in horrible condition and very dirty. It seem like all they did was let him sit there all week and not even care for him. I don't want to give them this one star but I do not know how to take it back. Pictures coming soon..they need to be closed down they are cruel to animals.
