Today we picked up some food saver bags that they ordered for us, a bag of potting soil, and some water softener pellets.The friendly folks were patient and helpful. Aiding us to find what we needed right away. No need to be wandering around up and down the aisles unless that's your thing.Whether I'm in California or the Midwest, or anywhere I go that there is an Ace, I can count on quality service and goods.This store upholds the tradition and we will continue shopping at Ace for the experience we can count on. Good job y'all, thanks for the excellent service!

Went into the Twin Lakes Ave hardware and bought a couple breakers for my fuse panel, $16.99 each. They didn’t have enough to finish the job so I ran down to the Richmond store, picked up the same exact fuses but were over twice the price at $39.99 each. Absolutely ridiculous.

I took (1) of my Aluminum clad "Thermopane Glass" double hung windows in and had it measured to have it replaced. I didn't know that my local hardware store offered this service before.Mike met me at the front of the store and was very thorough in measuring and ordering the glass replacement.Thank you, for not making me walk to the back of the store and promptly reducing the stress that comes from a broken window with winter knocking at your Wisconsin door.

I live out of state and recently purchased a traeger smoker for our family lake house on Powers Lake. Jason worked with me to get the smoker that I wanted and get it assembled and delivered at no extra charge. They even did all this on the weekend of country thunder, which apparently makes the entire area a traffic nightmare. Thanks guys.

37 years in Richmond I've only found a few times that they had anything in stock. Overpriced if I do find anything. This goes back to when they were located in the what is now the Veterinarian is now.

Recently brought in a Stihl chainsaw for repair that another local shop could not fix and wanted to charge me $300. Saw was hard starting ACE repair tech found the problem right away. Cost $27 to fix. Very polite, accommodating and professional service.

After JC Licht took over, all the prices went to up 20-30%! Drive a mile more into twin lakes and save some money. Staff is nice, but buyer beware the serious price gouging. Ace is already high as it is.

I was able to get what I needed, but when I asked for help I was told it would be just a minute. After waiting around 5 minutes I found the guy talking with two of his coworkers. Then when I went to check out a man rushed in front of me and the clerk said nothing. Poor customer service. Definitely not what I am used to at an Ace Hardware store. Hopefully, I just came at a bad time. Might try it again another time.

I love going to ace in Richmond because everyone there is extremely helpful and very friendly. If you need help there's always someone there to help you unlike the big box stores where you have to search and search and still can't find anyone to answer any questions. The cashier was rude and declined service due to not wearing a “proper” mask.Management was nice and explained that as long as my face is securely covered, I was allowed to shop.I’m glad the manager of this store is kind and able to have a conversation unlike the cashier I spoke with.

First off I'd like to say all the people working at Ace here are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. But this is the 4th time I've tried to use a $10 off coupon for a large item. I could have driven 10 minutes to Home Depot and gotten a 10% veterans discount but wanted to buy local. The coupon would have been about 6%. Because of the brand name, the coupon wasn't valid. So far, everything I have tried to purchase at Ace and use a coupon has not been allowed either because it had been reduced or the brand name wasn't valid, and they're every day items. I'm pretty sure my not using them anymore isn't going to hurt them but I'v had enough. I'll drive the 10 minutes.

I have only rented from here twice. The employees seemed to be knowledgeable and friendly. After I Wa Quoted a wrong price for for a rental they worked with me.Places that are too stubborn to do so dont realize the possiblity of more sales.I actually left the Ace in Twin Lakes to come here.TL Ace lost an $800 purchase from me that day
