Hadn't played here for about 10-15 year, so had no idea what to expect. Still a good track. The trees are a lot bigger than I remember back then, & they put more of a premium on hitting the fairways. But they do give the course a lot more character.Staff were great, very friendly. Pace of play was very good. We teed off at 7:20 on a Saturday morning & played in just under 3-1/2 hours.All this course needs is some TLC to make it WAY better. Tee boxes were a little rough, especially on the par 3's, but that's not a big issue to me. Greens were slower than most in the area, but rolled pretty true. If they ever got the greens rolling faster, putting would be a real challenge with tge slopes in the greens. Fairways were OK. Cartpaths are pretty rough in spots, but again, not the end of the world.Biggest problem we encountered were the bunkers. Very little sand, mostly packed dirt. After 3 attempted bunker shots, we decided that when we got in a greenside bunker, we took a free drop out of the bunker, away from the hole.So all in all, a nice place to play for a change of pace, as long as don't go in with high expectations.

Nice course, and usually very inexpensive vs nearby courses. Some challenging and well designed holes. Staff here is always very friendly and laid back. One of my favorite in the area for sure.

Course is maintained well. Offer deals on GolfNow often. Snack shop is well stocked and food is good and priced well. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating.

UPDATE 10-2-22still very nice. Greens quick, but they had an outing yesterday so it's well "beat up" but still good. Quick greens after the dew dries. Fairway rough is probably as long as I've ever seen it. But it's good, makes it a challenge. I used The Got Spot for discounted at $19 with cartGreat shape on fairways and greens. Highly underrated course in my opinion. As of 8-4-19, $30 for 18 and a cart, can't argue with that.

Golfed 18 on this course on Sept. 4 for my dad's birthday! I love this course... very well maintained; friendly and helpful staff. The greens were spotless - fantastic condition and FAST. Fairways looked great too and it's been really dry so I'm certain some effort has gone into that. Just made a tee time for tomorrow and am sure it'll be a great day at Brookhill!

Wish I could give this a better review because staff was friendly but the greens were not well maintained. Grass is too tall and nearly impossible to find a ball that's off the main strip. Lost about 10 balls between me and my partner because we couldn't find them in the high grass and weeds.

I absolutely love this course its very well maintained and groomed...the course is challenging but fun to play...the jewel of Rantoul with very competitive prices,also the staff is always nice, polite,friendly,knowledgeable and always willing to help...a very well ran and organized course and business from top to bottom,from ownership ti the groundskeepers keep up the good work...open n ready to hit em long and straight

Usually short staffed but friendly. Course needs a lot of work but we understand that they may close. The county or city needs to take it over. It is a challenge to play and enjoyable for the slightly above average player.

Course is in really good shape for this time of year. I did have a slight problem getting served in the bar area. Probably because it was a Tuesday and the help was limited.
