This is the best place in town for fabric and art supplies, both in selection and prices. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I like that they are pet friendly as well. Their sales on fabric are a lot better than what's offered with other stores.

I went there today (02/04/23) with my grandmother to help her shop. My grandma had digital gift cards. I called to ask beforehand if they would be able to check the balance of the cards in store, since I could not get the website to work to check them from home. They said they could.After driving 35/40 minutes to get there I am told they cannot check them for me after fiddling with the computer for about 25 minutes. The clerk says “well I can’t help you” since she couldn’t figure out how. She did not request help from a manager or a coworker, and asked me to step out of line… Despite their lack of effort, my grandma wanted to keep shopping so we did. The manager wandered around us several times but made no attempt to help my grandma as she shopped and looked at sales and things. Then when we got to check out, the clerk was not helpful with the app, did not help my grandma to understand what requirements she needed to meet for coupons and sales, and did not help her to change the phone number on her account. I spoke to 4 different employees during the 2 hours we were there and not one did any actual help to us.I recommend Hobby Lobby.

Oh man! Talked about getting ripped off. The lady didn’t get the 30% off either. I just wanted out of there!!!! Horrible store I won’t be going back to Joanna ever again….

I haven't been to this store in a long time. I went yesterday because i had a gift card to use. I couldn't believe how much the store had changed since the last time i was there a few years ago. Totally impressed. They even had a buy one get two free deal on some things i needed! Will definitely be coming back more often. Store was so clean and organized, it made finding what i needed so easy.Edited to add-Still shopping at this store. They always have everything I need.

Visited Quincy Illinois store. Fabric selection was okay and understand it's hit and miss whenever you go. Terrible experience at the cutting counter. Fabric slid off the table and instead of putting fabric back on table girl left it on the floor and spun it back on the bolt, dragging all of it across the floor getting it very dirty. When I got it home to dust it off it looked like it had also been stepped on. Very disappointed in service, friendliness and respect showed.

I went in for wreaths that were 70% off and found a few other things besides. A little pricey but what isn't these days. Store was clean and well lit. Lots of beautiful fabrics. Clerk, Martha, was very helpful and friendly.

Have always had an amazing experience at Quincy’s Joanns! I usually order ahead on the app to get coupons and its my go to place for yarn for crocheting! The employee, Martha, was extremely helpful on my last visit!

Terrible customer service! I’ve never experienced anything like it!I saw they did curbside pickup so I decided to give it a shot.I placed my order yesterday, today I was told it would be ready around 5 or so. I called 30 minutes before they closed confused as to why my order was not ready. I was then yelled at by the manager Joanna she also said I made fun of her employee?I was then told they had no clue if my order would even be ready the next day. Moral of the story.. This women was a very disrespectful individual. If my boss ever heard me talk like this I would be fired without a doubt.

Their parking is horrendous. Very limited and difficult to get to. Then there's stairs going in and out of the store. Their choice of material is phenomenal as is the fleece. The yarn I prefer is never in stock but that could be because it's a great yarn.

The employees were very helpful, courteous, customer service excellent! They have just about anything you need in quilting, sewing department. Lots of knick knacks for your home decor, children's items, they even have Legos! I feel that their prices on the material was a little high. I will visit again.

One of few fabric stores around. I generally find what I'm looking for when I'm here, but if not, I always get more good ideas for other things. Takes me back when I see people looking at pattern books. Had such fun with my mom.

Good store for basic sewing supplies. Fabric selection tends to be mid level quality.Sewing and quilting notions are adequate for most needs.Good place to pick up a last minute gift!!

I love, love JoAnn fabrics! I needed zippers, thread and tulle ( I am making tutus for my daughter's chickens-----yes, real chicks!!) I found my needed supplies; my tulle was measured and cut and I was checked out promptly. I am extremely pleased with your Quincy, IL store!

Of the three staff working, only one was nice and helpful. The other two were busy chatting amongst themselves and when you needed help they actually hollered at the other worker to help you . They are always short staffed and the manager is rude.

Very disappointed that scrapbooking/mixed media area was so small and unenteresting. Did not make any purchases at this store. Sales associates were very nice and answered questions about products.

Glad to have a fabric store in Quincy. Never many folks in there. Last time I stopped in, two young girls were there, they were employees, the only ones there and they were goofing off the entire time I was in there instead of working.
