If you ask a person upfront if they have something because it said they do online and it's in stock don't be a rude bitch saying we have it but it's not out yet. Do you wonder why the store is empty? Because it's online for pick up but not out yet..... don't be a cunt, I'll shop else where and hope for better customer service.

I am a first time firearm owner. I just got back from the Army and wanted to buy a shotgun. I went into the store to find no one at the gun counter (seems like this is common at this store). I waited 15 minutes found someone and they reluctantly came to help me. She went behind the weapons counter and I asked for a Mossberg that was on the top shelf. She said in a snarky voice that it was a "maverick". Yes lady its a Mossberg Maverick. She checked my card and ran the backround check or whatever. She asked for my ID. I said which would you like my Identification Card or Drivers License. She exclaimed! that I should not have my ID and Drivers license on me (I checked this with the local police department and her statement was completely false.) Then she tried saying that my ID was my Drivers license (Fun fact they are 2 separate pieces of plastic). I noticed while she was carrying the shotgun that the rib was not on the end of the barrel. I asked in a polite manner if it did not come with one, and again she was snarky "Actually! It's called a sight. Maybe its in the box". Ok sorry we didn't get shotguns to shoot in the Army and I did not know, either way she should not treat a Army veteran like dirt for asking questions. All and all I will never come here again to buy a firearm. I think I am going to just shop my local gun store next time.EDIT: 2 hours after this incident I drove to the rural king down the street and had a much better experience. Do not waste time with Dunhams. Just go to Rural King instead.

They have the absolute best & I mean BEST Chicago Cubs merchandise. I seem to always forget about this store but not anymore. I have now found a better place to get my Cubs stuff rather than having to go to Walmart where the quality isn't always very good but also somewhat scarce! Not only did they have Chicago Cubs ⚾ merchandise but they also had Blackhawks 🏒 White Sox and Cardinals😨 stuff also! I hope they still sell it in the off season! What a beautiful sight 😃

Terrible store. Decided to go check it out and was extremely disappointed in it. It wasn't as clean as other stores, couldn't find the prices for most item or they were just labeled wrong. Employees were on there phones a good portion of the times and it was like pulling a tooth to get anyone to assist us. I highly recommend going to any other store and avoid this one as much as you possibly can.

My daughter changed her mind on a sweatshirt she bought but alas lost the receipt and it clearly says that they can look for the debit card trans action but I went and was told by the manager that he could only do it for warranty seriously? I won't go back for anything if we need anything like that again we will find it online return policy blows it still has the tags on like brandnew

Very disappointed with the customer service. The last three times we've gone here to get kids their sports cleats, we've had to go hunting for an employee to help us. This last time it took us a while to find an employee for assistance. We walked the store a few times and couldn't find anyone. For the prices that they charge we shouldn't have to work so hard just to find an employee to get us a pair of cleats. It's worth the hour drive to go elsewhere to find the same products and better customer service

On a motorcycle trip I searched an found that this store stocked the camp fuel I needed. When I arrived I was y able to locate it and asked for help. The lady that met me in the back was rude from the start. I even stopped get and explained that I understand that their website isn't accurate and that I just needed a combination of stove and fuel to work. She continued to repeat herself and be more and more rude. The lady at the register was helpful and understanding

I called up to find out about a certain caliber of ammunition. They said that they had both that I was looking for, and quoted me the wrong price over the phone. When I went there it was a waste of time because the ammunition wasn't the one I asked about and the price was $10 more even if it was. Nice employees though.

Do not, I repeat, do not buy a gun at any Durham's anywhere in Illinois. They do not know or adhere to state regulations. It took me 10 days to pick up a weapon because they refuse to follow proper procedure when it comes to filling out and submitting paperwork for your purchase. Prices are very good for most items. I do not blame the staff as much as I blame their company policies. The staff (even management) is aware of this but will not try to help you in any way. There are much better choices and prices elsewhere. Yet, I was able to purchase more than 1 .22 caliber air rifle with greater than 799 fps right off the shelf, which is illegal in Illinois. Due to my bad experience with the only firearm purchase, I reported this to the local police dept. They quickly pulled the .22 air rifles from the shelf. They are now behind the glass counter.Also, the firearm I purchased had a label with the incorrect number of round capacity. I just do not like doing business with a company that can't get most things right. I think 3 stars is only based on the selection and variety of products, but little else.

Kind of Empty in there. Looks like they can have a way better selection of sporting goods and they do not. Couldn't even fine a good choice of Golf Club sets. They just had 1 set that entire huge store.Also, I was looking for a Great Mountain Bike and all they have is OLD PEOPLE BIKES...

Two stars just for the selection. The only local store for sporting goods. AWFUL costumer service. It's like pulling teeth! Asked for an exchange without a receipt.......heard a life lesson that no ONE takes returns and exchanges with out receipt! Haha! When I said that yes most places do was told that they shouldn't!I will go an extra mile somewhere else, and do my best to stay away from that store! Plus!- the manager did wear a mask!The cashier was nice.It's not first time I experienced bad costumer service at this store but this one topped it off.+!

Treat you like a criminal if you do not have your receipt even if you're just exchanging. It does say it on your receipt that you need to have it to exchange or return your items but even Walmart will give you a credit under $20 on a gift card or let you exchange. And you do not have to treat people like criminals because they don't have a receipt. All I wanted was an exchange. I did however tear my vehicle apart until I found my receipt to prove I was not a criminal that I actually paid for what I was returning at that point I returned did not take the exchange.

Great amount of options for all sporting good needs. Employees are hard to find. The 96 hour rule to pickup a firearm makes 0 sense when state law is 72 hours. I wish I was informed of that company policy before I purchased my firearm.

Not worth shopping at anymore. They should just close the firearms counter chances of getting any help from anyone is slim to none. Even after 15 minutes of standing there staring at the glass I managed to track down somebody in an aisle, I told her what I was looking for and she grabbed her radio and just put it over the air. only for the male individual to shout back “no” didn’t even give the time a day to come look. Didn’t answer any of my questions or tell me if they usually Carry it and are just out or anything. not even look at the selection behind the counter. When I made it obvious I was annoyed that he was not willing to walk 20 feet to assist me, she asked if there’s anything else I need. Now on a separate occasion looking at golf supplies dealt with the same thing waited for several minutes making it very noticeable that I need assistance. When I finally tracked down an individual they just shout something over the radio from some undisclosed location in the store and are Impossible on assisting with everything

I give it 3 stars because I wanted to try on several different brands/styles of pants (that I needed for work) but was told I could only take 3 pair in the dressing room at a time. The only place to hang extra items were on a floor clothing rack about 10 ft away. Not that, that is far..but another shopper could have taken them while I was trying on the 1st 3..and it's a pain to have to keep leaving the dressing room for more pieces. I left the store without trying them on or purchasing anything, and have not been back.

There's a big selection of sports gear but it is overpriced. They do often have single use coupons if you sign up for e-mail. I came for youth soccer socks but they didn't have any left in the colors or sizes I needed. You can probably order online but I needed them asap.

Bought a bow today from this place and lost the receipt on the way home and gave them a call to find out if I can do an exchange and was told they cannot without the receipt and I have to go through the actual manufacturer which who knows how long will take, will not be going back here anytime soon

None of the staff used face masks or practiced social distancing. When I went to check out I was charged not the sale price that was quoted. It took some time to get it straitened out.

Not a great selection in the golf section, and every time I shop here, checking out is a long, slow ordeal. Definitely not a place to just run in and get something quickly.

For our small town Duham's is place to go for our sporting goods needs from clothing, athletic gear, hunting fishing and leisure. Pricing might not be the most economical but subscribe to their email list and you will get discounts.
