Dr. Kim and her staff are amazing. I have never experienced a more caring and professional vet and staff. We took our Great Dane here for all of her medical needs and for boarding all 7 years she was with us. I can't say enough good things about the Paxton Animal Clinic.

Absolutely love the Animal Clinic. Dr Kimberly is amazing and her staff are wonderful too. Payton and Emma adore them (even though they hate going to the vet). Dr Kimberly and her staff have saved Paytons life several times (Parvo & 2 - swallowed items). They are affordable too. I highly recommend them!

I've been taking my Furbabies there for over 34 years, and have always received the best advice and care for my animals. Free parking and handicap accessible. Very knowledgeable staff and they really do care about your furbabies and care and Love them as you would. The BEST in Paxton !!!

We love and respect Dr Kim Bunag & staff. Even when it's sad, we are so thankful to have them. They care so much for our pets and me, as a customer. Always kind, empathetic, very professional. They have always tried to accommodate, to get us in as quick as possible. We've had some emergencies, and they've always been so helpful through some difficult times. I cannot say enough positive things about this clinic and the staff for the compassion shown to me. The entire staff shows compassion and expresses condolences. The people at this clinic are awesome! Our Pomeranian, Roxie, had to cross “The Rainbow Bridge” last week. From treating her, to her last minutes, the staff at this clinic were amazing. They made a very tough situation, much more bearable. I cannot say enough kind words about these folks. I recommend them highly, with no hesitation!!!

Boarded our dog here for a week while we were on vacation. Got him fixed and chipped during the visit too. The staff was great! And we even adopted a new dog when we came to pick up ours ❤️

Gone and tried a few times due to being close to where I live and the fact it’s a small town there are not many options... Dr. Kim was always late. First appointment of the day and would wait on average 15 minutes for her to show up. Never apologized or noted that we’ve been waiting. Today, the same thing happened. We stated that this is unacceptable as it happens every time. We left our appointment before the doctor even showed up. Again 15 minutes late... Everyone in the office went silent and stared at me when I walked back (to talk about why we left) only after I heard them talking about my fiancé and I and why we left. Stating that we had “thrown a fit” and were “being unreasonable”. Unprofessional place of business. Worth the drive and money to go ANYWHERE else.

We're new to the area & we were expecting to go to multiple vets over time until we found one we were confident in. This was our 1st vet out here & we're happy to say we need look no further. They were very kind & gentle with my pup, who was sore after somehow hurting her neck. Chicago prices may have traumatized me, but the cost for the exam, meds, & a few extras was so low I originally thought they were offering me payments...but alas, no...it was the whole cost. They just offer really great rates instead of marking up simple things like nail clipping. I've only been there once but based on that experience, I can imagine going anywhere but here in the future.

Hello Christine Swartz-Grice,I apologize that you had a few bad experiences at the clinic. As a practice that ensures that we spend as much time as possible to make sure our patients and their owners have their issues addressed. (as we did numerous times with Zombie and Apollo) Due to that there are times that some appointments run late(not just yours but other clients as well) In addition, we often have emergency patients, especially first in the morning or afternoon. We also do house calls which can run late. As far as the first appointment on a Saturday, I apologize and have apologized numerous times. In addition I did offer a free exam for Apollo's appointment. We are a single doctor practice so if there is an appointment that runs late there is nothing we can do but treat the emergency first. I am sorry you felt disrespected by our professional staff. I have nothing but love for your animals. Apollo, with his multiple wounds yet he always had a smile on his face. Zombie, you were concerned would have to be euthanized, yet we managed to figure out what was causing his issues and turned him into a happy energetic dog again. There were times you had to wait during Zombie's appointments due to the time it takes our lab machines to run. We have also helped you with the cost of Zombies medication. In the end, I hope that Apollo, Zombie, and Lemon continue to do well, wherever you take them. They are great fur babies.Sincerely,Animal Clinic of PaxtonDr. Kim Bunag

If I could give half a star I would. The Vet spent less than 2 minutes in the room. And made me feel terrible for anything that was wrong with my cat. Plus she didn't ask me permission to treat my cat for a little built up ear wax. When he was their for something else. I know my cat needed it but it's nice to ASK the owner before you treat someone's animal. She didn't even bother to ask if I had any questions. I was just given meds and shooed out the door. It was like I was interupting her schedule. I will NOT be going back.

Love this place my dogs love the vet she is wonderful wit them. Even though my dogs don't like strangers in masks which is the norm thanks to covid they warmed up to the vet after a couple treats lol.

Literally had to give up our sick dog because they would not treat without payment upfront even though I got paid the next day and could prove I could pay them the very next morning. They don't care about the animals, only the money.

Dr. Kimberly Bunag is a very good Vet in a small practice. If a specialist is needed she will refer your Pet to a Doctor with specialty care for your Pets problem.
