Brian is extremely knowledgeable of the various items he sells. I had taken a malnourished rescue to him where he knew exactly what the dog needed. The dog did a total turn around and within a week she started gaining weight and energy. I then purchased another pup (8 weeks old), where they were feeding it puppy chow (garbage). Brian inspected my pup and started it on Puppy Fromm where she immediately took right to it and is a bundle of energy. I was originally cautious going to these small stores vs. the big chain stores. Twin Tail's prices absolutely keep up with the big chain stores and also are cheaper with certain items. The welcoming given, the time taken. freshness of the products and prices are no match to the competitors. I will go no where else. Thank you Brian and Heather for being so devoted to our pets needs and your overall happy attitude displayed as stated in all your reviews.!!!!

By far, the best place to get food and everything you may need for your pets. Even provided me nothing but support when one of the raw food brands did not sit well with the pup. The customer service is beyond exceptional, and I will always continue to support this amazing small business as long as I have my pup around. I have recommended this shop since day 1 of purchasing. My husband Joe and I have been coming to this awesome store for quite some time. Brian is unbelievably knowledgeable and friendly and always smiling! I met the owner's wife, Heather, and discussed both of my "nephews" unique issues and needs. She took the time out to answer all of my annoying questions and explain products and make recommendations. Their variety of stock is amazing! Cooper can only eat kangaroo food, since he is allergic to dog food, and they had kangaroo treats that he loves! Luci loves the treats we purchased for him and I love the fact that they are natural. So glad I found Twin Tails Market & Barkery! I will definitely be returning!

This is a great place to buy dog food, treats and supplies. When I first got my Teddy 3 years ago, Brian was so helpful in finding the right food being that we were dealing with food allergies. There is a wonderful selection of toys, treats and other pet necessities. I like to support the small business owners, especially those who go out of their way to get to know you and your pet.

What a wonderful local pet shop with a very wide and unique variety of treats. I came in for my dogs birthday and found just about everything I needed and more. I live in the Palos area now and decided to take the drive and boy was it worth it. They had bones for my Chihuahua with a canine issue and the birthday girl( border collie). Give them a try and I’ll be sure to be back for her adoptaversary soon!

Best small pet store in the area! Good selection of quality food brands, novelty toys, and all the treats you could ever want. If you're looking for specialty items, they may even be able to source--just ask. The owners are kind and engaging folk who will be happy to help you with any pet-related questions you may have. I just heard about the incident with Joe at the store. Twin tails is a great place to shop. I was there yesterday and I wore a mask and so did the owner. It’s obvious that we both care about human life. Ignore Joes review but read every 5 star review if you want to know the truth about twin tails.

Great place. Been going there for about 3 years now. Owners are friendly and extremely knowledgeable of all of their products. There’s a decent variety to choose from. They carry bagged and canned food, a wide asst. of treats, raw/frozen food, quality toys, etc. Highly recommend them. SHOP LOCAL!!

Brian is very knowledgeable about everything he sells! I only go here to buy my dog food and treats! Apparently this Joe Lodato guy like leaving bad reviews for everyone. He is one miserable POS. Read his reviews, he has nothing nice to say about anyone. Must be terrible to be so miserable. I am willing to bet he is one if these guys who use a public restroom and doesn't wash his hands afterwards.
