I tried Amber's grooming after my previous groomer closed permanently. Amber's was nearby so I contacted and asked her about nail trims on my European Dobermans. My male is large and previously only trimmed on floor due to size with clippers. My female is a pup and wears down her nails naturally so this was just to accustomed her to the process. First appointment, Amber looked at my male and proceeded to gather all the loose dogs behind the counter and pin them up. She wanted my male on the grooming table which he had never tried before. She used a dremel on his nails and he had never had that done. So he was nervous however I was back there and he Never barked, growled, bit, nipped, jumped, nothing. My female however didn't allow the nail trim and peed on the table. Amber didn't have any patience with them. She was all jerky, fast, no calm demeanor at all. Second visit one month later I only took my male again he got on table, trim, dremel, much better than first time. So now I contact for another appointment then see Amber had surgery and will be out till April. I contact and let her know I'll find someone as my male needs trimmed. She replies Yes and even when she returns she will only accept compliant dogs. I laugh and say, my boi isn't compliant? She sends me the definition of compliant. What ever did my dog do that wasn't compliant? She did in fact state yes she prefers the little dogs over large breeds. I thought Groomers were taught to handle all breeds especially if your name is Peace & Love??

Amber is by far the best groomer I have taken my dogs to. I'm from the Chicago area. I've been to 6 other groomers since living in southern IL and have been disappointed with all of them. I was recommended to go to Amber by a friends mom and so happy I did. She definitely knows what she's doing. She does a great job, fair prices, and love her personality, she's definitely someone I can see myself hanging out with, great person. I highly recommend taking your dogs to Amber!

Took my mother's dog to Amber, he has a thick curly coat and hadn't been groomed for some time, but Amber did a wonderful job getting him beautifully trimmed and looking like a new pup. She conducts herself in a very professional manner, and you can tell by the way she handles those in her care that she is a true animal lover.I would highly recommend her services.

Amber is a fabulous groomer for super large rambunctious dogs all the way to tiny dogs with fancy cuts. She has more experience than any groomer I can think of and on top of that she has a warm bubbly personality that will make you and your dog feel welcome. All her pricing is very fair as well!

I have a 13 year old Bichon Frise who was always groomed like a poodle until I went to Amber. She graciously took my precious Annie and made her look like a Bichon. I would recommend her to anyone who wants their fur baby to look great. She is also very kind and loving to the animals.
