We are so unhappy with the treat so impolite and races. My daughter and I went to the county market in Monticello today to buy the fried chicken. I bought 2 boxes of fries chicken with the same amount chicken and same parts. But they overcharged one box even though they were the same. Although I informed the manager of this. They took the overcharged box and opened it up to convince me that I had been charged correctly. They TOUCHED their hands all over the fired chicken I had bought. Later even though the managers were in the wrong, they still did not apologize or replace the fried chicken they had directly touch with their hands. I am extremely unhappy about the way I was treated in regards of the management and the store employees.Enclosed the over charged receipts.

Stopped in to buy some chicken from the deli and the young man working there made us some fresh chicken livers to go with a six piece chicken box. It was off the chain definitely worth it

No prices at the deli. I was told they change to fast to post them.Don't have a store card so couldn't get sale price on anything.Cashier was rude and condescending when I asked her to scan a store card..Rude customers, rude staff, high prices and poor service.DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I was in town visiting friends and didn't have high hopes for this place. I was shocked! This place had everything a "big city" grocer would have and more! The beer selection was enviable. I saw things in the beer aisle I still can't find at my local grocery stores. Great job! Gotta give big kudos to the staff. It was Thanksgiving, and they all had smiles and were ready to help.

Everything they offer is pretty awesome, except the caprise pasta salad! We have bought this salad numerous times hoping for the best, after being told it was fresh... but the tomatoes are STILL SQUISHY every time. I'll still go back, the prices are a little higher than Champaign... but who wants to make the 1/2 hour drive to get it.

Went there today to check out some ribs. Advertised fresh never frozen and they were hard as a rock frozen. Don't trust the meat department.

Our cashier, Dominic, was exceptionally rude and even almost broke our bottles as he was checking us out. We even heard him talking about us to the next customers in line. Pretty terrible experience for being at a store one time.

Love the web sales, Penny Pinchers, and everyday low prices! This is a very large store! Staff was very friendly, produce was very fresh, baked goods were awesome, & the meat and groceries are high quality. This was my first trip to this particular store and I really enjoyed it. It has such a homey vibe.

The employees are very nice and helpful. They have some good buys. The sweet corn I bought was delicious, however the "Manager's Special" of pork chops were not good. They smelled rancid so I had to throw them out. I live to far away from the store to take them back. My suggestion would be in any store be careful on sale items. There just might be a reason for that being discounted !

This County Market has super friendly service and an awesome deli!! They had no problem making sure our family had 42 pieces of fried chicken last week!! Dinner was amazing!! Thanks so much for accommodating all of us with ease. We'll be back and I reccomend this grocery store to anyone in that area.

Last 4 times I've gotten produce its been rotten. Not just soft, but rotten. Asparagus, cucumbers, potatoes, oranges, apples, salad mix, the list goes on and on. Deli meats are always full of gristle. Why don't they have deli items all priced.Everything is overpriced.I know several people who would rather drive to Champaign or other cities instead of shopping there.I know I've had my fill and have no intention of returning.

A bit pricey compared to other places but you would have to drive 20 minutes further away to get there in Champaign. Their fresh products seem to be well made and fresh. The staff is mostly young and doesn't really seem to care much but what do you expect from a grocery store. Overall no negative experiences.

Nice local store for a small town. Friendly checkers who remember regulars, and a good deli. I wish they did a better job with their produce department and with keeping products stocked. They seem to keep alternating what brands and varieties they stock, so about the time we develop a preference for something the stop carrying it.

I have a need for lactose free foods. The last time I was in the store one of the managers (I assume he is...he does ordering for the dairy and freezer departments. He's ordered me special items before) remembered my family uses the products. He came up and told me new things he got in stock and asked if there was anything else he could try to get for me! This doesn't seem like a lot-but when you have a food allergy/sensitivity lots of everyday foods are off limits. Putting them back into your life is amazing. Also this staff is always friendly. And their outdoor plants are better than anywhere around and very reasonably priced. We love this store!

Nice clean store, prices are just a little higher than Champaign county market but that’s expected for a smaller Community grocery store. My only complaint is The last 2 times that I’ve bought pork steaks The first two steaks were ok but the rest of the meat in package was just pieces of pork steak.

Store was very clean and neat. Had some very good prices as you enter and start walking the perimeter of the store. However the further we went the less bargains there were. But still better than IGA here in town. All in all I would recommend shopping here, just watch what you buy.

I've been shopping here since they opened, and yes sometimes things can go wrong, but over all there great. The people are friendly even in the deli. The prices are the same as Champaign, so Monticello is very luck to have this store. So don't listen to the negative people this place rocks.
