A super nice store has everything a person could ever want or need for sports, hunting , walking shoes, lawn chairs, sunglasses, , clothing ,camping, kayaking, insulated cups, Yeti! The only problem is I can't afford to shop in this store. When I walk at the mall this is the entrance I go through. I did find some really nice lawn chairs marked down from 35.00 to 8.95 ! I will be purchasing a pair of motorcycle sunglasses in the near future.

Manager Joe is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to firearms. He definitely lead me in the right direction and helped me make a great choice. He’s probably forgotten more about firearms than I’ll ever know about them.Big, beautiful store and I’m so happy they are in town. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and I will certainly go back to Joe as I continue to build my collection.

When you walk in the store today, 7/11/23, there are several long tables covered with clearance shoes. Multiple signs (that can be seen at register) specifically state that you take an additional 20% off the lowest clearance tag. My husband couldn’t find any that fit and wound up getting two pairs of regular priced shoes. I bought two pairs off of the clearance tables AND another regularly priced pair. I also got a package of socks and two clearance fleece (winter) pj bottoms. Now, the young man at register was very nice BUT one of my clearances shoes came up as the price on tag and he said they had been having that trouble all day and so he called the manager who said that we did not get the 20% off of those shoes. NOW there were several pairs of the shoes AND you can clearly read the signs from where we were standing. I did buy the shoes (I have trouble finding shoes that fit and found three pairs) but I feel ripped off! We spent $296 and I feel like they KNOWINGLY ripped me off!!!!

Good selection, horrendous customer service. Their managers make you realize why it's so nice to buy from Amazon, where you don't have to interact with bitter employees. Pay very close attention to their return policy. When returning items be sure you first find an employee who understands how to interpret English adjectives such as "opened" when reading their own store's policy. At the end of the day, it may not even matter, because Dunham's return policy states "Note: Dunham’s reserves the right to deny any refund." Best of luck, and avoid Steve when he's having a bad day.

The store is big with a great selection. Customer service is absolutely terrible, regular associates are fine it is the management. Zero conflict resolution skills. I have never experienced management so lack luster and un caring. Unfortunately the store eventually will be doomed to fail for this reason. Now you have lost a client and I will be sure to tell my friends.

First time visiting the store. The customer service experience was very pleasant and welcoming. My engagement with Jaylen & Brayden was remarkable!Jaylen was extremely knowledgeable about the questions l had during my shopping journey and Brayden interactions at check out was very warm and genuinely friendly.Joe the manager interactions with his staff were filled with positive recognitions, professionalism and overall his personality was very positive.I will definitely stop by whenever l travel to Mattoon and recommend this store to family & friends moving forward Thank you gentlemen for making my day and first time in your store such a pleasure.

Very bad customer service. Went in Saturday night 20 mins before they closed looking for last minute soccer shoes well aware of the time and the first thing they said when we walked in was that they closed soon, then 5 mins later announced on the intercom again they were closing. Went to pay and 2 older ladies checking me out were very rude making comments about us not even putting the shoes I was buying back in the box. If these people don't want to work in retail and deal with customers maybe they need to rethink their job. I almost never go here and after tonight I will not return.

if you see a red tagged sticker the product is likely upcharged (Mattoon, IL location) just check the true price of the merchandise under that sticker. this might be helpful to not be ripped off by these people. ☺️ baught a pack of hand wraps that were priced at $24 and the price under that new tag said $17.99.

They are very rude and uneducated on ammo and gun sales. They refuse to sell ammo to out of state residents. They said no Illinois Foid card you will not buy ammo here. That's to bad cause their rude employees just cost there company money.Out of state residents just have to show photo Id from the state they are from

Was disappointed when me and my teenagers were trying out the exercise equipment.....a female worker walked by and I asked if it was alright that we were on them...she said "well of course! That's what they're for!" Soon after that a man came up to us and asked us not to be on the equipment and was quite rude about it.

The employee by the name of James that works at the store is an amazing worker and was an awesome help while I was there trying to find something, he went out of his way to make sure I found what I was looking for and 10/10 will always be a loyal customer because of this experience!!!
