Do not waste your time coming here if your fir baby is sick. My 6 month old Pitsky got very sick ti where she was malnourished and we had no idea how or why. We did everything in our own to help her. They claimed they gave her 3 different shots. A vitamin b12, intestinal shot of some sort, and anti vomiting medicine because she was pooping black and bleeding. We were positive it was parvo but she had her vaccines so we didn’t understand how. Anyhow… after we got home from them sending us home with medication and calming she would be ok she took her last breath in our arms not even 24 hours later …. I called this morning to let them know we would not be paying the vet bill so it would nit even be necessary to send one because how could you not catch something like that? She couldn’t even give me an apology… she was nasty and rude the whole time and threatened me to send it to collections. This place doesn’t deserve a single star and and needs to be shut down.

Came here with my dog for a lump on his head. The vet didn’t even touch him or look at the lump. If you have a big dog wouldn’t recommend going here you’d think since he’s an old man who’s been a vet for years he’d know the difference between a dog being scared vs aggressive and that all he needed to do was talk to him Ina comforting tone but apparently not. Lady at the desk was really sweet tho

Doc and staff where fantastic. We had to put our German Shepherd down with kidney failure. So compassionate with our loss. Just a very caring staff. Highly recommend

I know he is ready to retire and I wish we had found him sooner. His staff was concerned about us and our pet and very sympathetic when we lost our pup and we do not feel it was any fault of the doctor there. But I will continue to travel from Charleston to see him as the vets there have been on a downward trend in the last 2 or 3 years

Dr Boyer and staff very nice. Felt like they enjoy their jobs and love animals. Felt like they did everything for Elliott (L)that they could at this point. Will definitely use them as needed. Walk in hours with first come first served. Didn't wait 5 minutes before being called in. Very reasonable prices. Can't say enough good things about the Dr and staff.

To start off with this place does NOT even deserve one star. My cat was extremely sick, she had 2 litters and the first round didn’t make it but the second round 5 out of 6 baby’s made it. She was the runt of her litter so she was to little to have baby’s mostly 2 litters, she was puking blood up after a month of her having the 2nd litter, as soon as I seen this I took her straight to the first vet that was opened! I also had a family friend that used this vet for there animals. I waited in one of the back room for like 25 mins waiting for them and then the doctor came in looked at her for like 5 mins and told me she had problems with her milk and she had an infection in her milk duds, told me they needed to keep her over nights for a couple of days I called ever day after that to check up on her and one of the front desk lady’s gave me her personal number to call too, I called at least 10 times everyday ( mind you I took her in on a Wednesday) both the personal number and the clinic number and no one answered well comes that next Monday and I finally get ahold of someone and they tell me my cats died that Saturday. Obviously I’m extremely emotional and come in and they take me back to my Dead cat and she was laying in her own feces, didn’t look like they took her out of the cage at all. Then charged me around $300 to $350. And for what! I do understand that they givin her shots to help with the pain and givin her an ultrasound but my cat that I seen as my bestfriend, my child could of died in my arms not in her own feces! My baby girl had to die without her mom there with her right by her side and lay in her own feces for 4 days!!!!!!! I don’t not recommend this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

When I check reviews, I usually check the bad reviews first. This gave me a little hesitation, but this was an emergency. I called almost all the vets in Terre Haute with none were available. I took a chance and gave them a call. They have walk in appointments in the afternoons and surgeries in the mornings. As soon as the woman found out how serious the case was, she asked if I could bring the kitten in immediately. Upon arrival, I found the staff very friendly. They immediately started helping the little kitten. ( We had found a little kitten in our yard that had been attacked, with gaping holes, and lots of maggots) although we had removed most of the maggots, the staff immediately removed the rest. After visiting with the staff, I found that the vet is an "old, country" vet. He truly cares about animals. The facility was clean, with animals roaming around. I believe that they were owned by the staff. Prices were very reasonable, and I totally will trust all of my pets with this vet. I read the negative posts and believe that those people would be more comfortable with the "fancy" vets that charge double. The ones who didn't have time to treat my kitten.

Our newest addition needed wormed and her first set of shots. The cost was reasonable. She just got her 2nd set of shots and the girls there are wonderful! She's not afraid to go there.

This clinic is the best vet I've never come across. They're caring, immediate and understanding. The front desk ladies are such a ray of sunshine. Highly recommend for your furbabies! Prices are extremely fair and their first priority is your pets well being.

I like this place because the girls behind the counter are nice , have a love and knowledge of the animals and are really nice . And they have walkins from 1- 3 or 3:30. I really appreciate that service. The vet is easy going and very well at his job. Overall it's a good place to take your animals.

Worst place to take your animals! Took my 8 month old Chihuahua puppy to this vet! Because he was sick and Well they didn’t even want to see him. They weigh him and they tested him for parvo which it was positive. The vet doctor never came in and show him at all. The nurse kept going back and forth to the doctor. They just gave him a shot for vomiting and gave us three other medication to take home with us. No IV put in him because he wasn’t eating or drinking they really didn’t even say anything like what we should how done at home or didn’t even say if he didn’t feel better bring him back in! They gave us the medicine for three days and said to come back in a month to get he’s other vaccine. They pretty much gave us the medicine to overdose my sweet boy. He only weighs 9.2 and they told us to give him the whole pill instead of a half of pill. He was up and moving around slowly kinda drinking water. And after we gave him the medicine that the vet told us to give he passed away Wednesday the 19th of this month! I’m very hurt and heartbroken! They could of done more for him and they didn’t even care one single bit! It might be a reasonable price vet but I will never take my dogs back here again! Not only that there are like five cats running around inside the office! They never even cared to call to check up on my poor baby either! I’m very disappointed in this vet! Why have vet doctors when he doesn’t even come in and see the animals! And it wasn’t even busy when we was there he just didn’t care! It’s just sad how some people just don’t care about other families pets and helping them! Best of luck to anyone who bring their animals there! I do appreciate y’all seeing him but y’all killed my baby too! God bless you don’t kill anymore animals!

Took my cat in who was lethargic, stumbling around, drinking a lot, and didn't seem like she could see. Eyes were dilated. Vet felt around and took her temp. He said it was probably arthritis. When asked if blood work should be done, he said no. He gave her a shot of pain meds and a shot of antibiotics. When asked why the antibiotics, he said "couldn't hurt". He didn't seem to care at all. We were in and out in 20 min. Had the good sense to take her to another vet the following day and it turns out she was anemic, in kidney failure, and blind. She got fluid under the skin, which I have to continue. Hopefully I can save her!!I would not recommend this place to anyone that cares about their animals!Update: My sweet cat passed a week later.

Dirty needles everywhere, bloody floors and walls, dust everywhere, lady’s up front were laughing and cussing up a storm making nasty jokes while we were in the other room mourning our dog. The vet stuck my dogs arm 5+ times even after shaving the fur off to see better, very unprofessional and unsanitary. Would not recommend anyone to this location, never going back!Update: we received a letter in the mail stating that we can be assured that they WILL NOT be seeing us again. Just because of this review I wrote telling the truth. I’m glad I wasn’t ever planning on going back

Went here to put my dog down and it was an awful experience! The place is filthy and has blood splattered on the floor, filth on the walls, bloody gloves in trash cans, and more. While we were in the extremely upsetting process of putting him down, the nurses at the front desk were very loud and saying vulgar things while cackling the entire time. The doctor seemed to have a very hard time getting the needle in and stuck my dog 5+ times. He also said some concerning things about past patients. Save yourself the heartache and take your animals elsewhere.

Took our 10yr old Lab "Lucy" to Dr. Boyer upon exam and bloodwork (other Vets failed to do) he diagnosed Stage 4 kidney failure. He helped us keep her going for another 2 months. Then we brought her in to be euthanized. He and the staff were so caring for her. It was obvious they really loved our girl and got us through this tough time. We can't say enough good things about Dr. Boyer and the girls. We're both 82 years old several dogs, horses and cats in our lifetime. The Animal Care Clinic is at the top of our list in Veterinarians. Thank you..Bob & Barbara Bell

Absolutely love the vet and his staff only been going here for alittle over 6 mths but have taken several kitty's here 2 of my own and several strays we feed in the neiborhood they are all so wonderful and caring and was so compassionate when we had to have one of the strays put down then took 2 stray baby's kitty's that were very sick and explained there were 4 more we were trying to catch that had same thing he gave us enough medicine to treat them all so wouldn't have to make another trip n and was able to catch them all and within 3 days all were happy healthy playful baby kitty's this is our new vet for sure

This place is very nice! All of the staff members are sweet and you can tell they really care about all of the animals. We took our dog here and he continued to have issues. They did everything they could to help. We ended up having to bring him somewhere else. We had since called them to ask them a few things about possibilities of what to do next and every time we talked to them they always expressed concern for our dog and asked how he was doing. I will always recommend this place and feel that they are the nicest vet I have ever been to before.
