They completed my oil change and tire rotation efficiently and gave a quote for new tires that were getting worn. They even kept my car locked up overnight until I was able to pick it up. Great service and I felt that they listened to my concerns about a recent issue with the vehicle. Reasonable cost, especially with a discount applied that I didn’t even have to request.

I've been using Hale's for a while. Great flexibility: not everyone can go without their main means of transportation for days: did get my truck in in AM, got a call hours later, and another call later in the AM car was fixed...guess what?! : They repaired what needed to be fixed. No hassle no overbearing phone calls. Would I go again? Absolutely!

Worked our car in on the next day. Really like the app that keeps track and gives updates on the progress of our vehicle. Even providing a picture of the car with the first update. Everyone we had to speak with was friendly and explained everything they found and what was needed to repair it. Including the costs. Very happy with the service and how thoroughly they inspected the car. Would highly recommend.

I took my truck in to have my breaks, AC, and heat checked. The breaks and AC are working great now. The issue with my heat wasn't completely resolved. The heat is still not as hot as it is supposed to be, but my temperature select knob and blower level knobs now work. May be an issue with the heater core.It was more expensive than I was expecting, but that does come with quality, and they did a great job with what was repaired. Either way, overall I am satisfied with the work that was done and I will go back with any other issues I have.Thank you Hale's Automotive.

The lady on the phone was rude and unkind. I asked for an appointment and she said come tomorrow at 8 am and hung up. Didn't take my name or phone number. I went there the next day and of course they said they couldn't help me because I didn't have an appointment. The guy at the desk was rude also acting like it was impossible that someone could've told me such a thing as to come at 8 when they were clearly booked. That was until my husband came in. Then he was helpful. Not a pleasant costumer experience for sure.

A simple oil change turned in to some major repair on the front end. When I take my car to Hales for anything needed I tell them if they find something needed to fix it. I trust them 100% and feel comfortable and safe when I pick it up. Been a customer over14 years. None better

While driving my car to work this morning at 8:15 am, the engine in my 2019 Chevy Impala lost virtually all power and the engine was making a horrifying loud noise. I had to pull the car over to the shoulder on the I-57 entry ramp 10 minutes south of Marion. I assumed something was very seriously wrong. I first called my wife as I remember she recently had a very good experience with a Marion mechanic shop in the past, but I did not remember the name. She said it was Hale's. I called them from my car. "Jessie" came quickly to tow my vehicle (and me) to the shop. They got the car into the shop immedately, and Jessie pointed out the problem in a matter of minutes - the catalytic converter had slowly become worn and completely broken off the exhaust manifold. They did not know how soon they might get the part at the time, but assured me if they could get it today, I might be able to pick the car back up by the end of the day. I went to work in Marion this morning after dropping it off, hoping I could at least get the car back by the next day. To my surprise, around 11:00 am, I received a call from Hale's. They happened to have the catalytic converter in stock, they installed it, they inspected the engine for proper function, and the car was ready for pick up, all within literally a couple of hours! I was shocked they could provide such great service so quickly. I happily picked the vehicle back up over my lunch hour. I was very pleasantly surprised as to the quality, level, and timeliness of the repair and service. Every one I spoke to was very cordial. You can just tell these people are running a top notch business! The price I was quoted was very fair. I would highly recommend Hale's to anyone needing automotive repairs or maintenance work in Southern Illinois. My wife and I certainly will be return customers!

Went to Rodgers Automotive for brake squealing. Told needed all 4 brake roters and pads. Cost of 1097.00! Got free second opinion from Hales. Told nothing wrong with brakes or pads....just dirty!
