I love Dunn's! They carry the fishing gear I use. A lot of people say their prices are high but really their cheaper then having to order it off the internet and having to pay a shipping fee! I'll be going back for a my fishing needs! Thanks Dunn's!

I like the store. It's a gem. They have a huge selection and prices aren't bad. They do NOT have a public restroom. We had to leave and come back. The guy behind the counter at the door that day wasn't friendly or very helpful.

I can’t say enough about how helpful Cody at the bow counter was. Took a bow in with a bad cam and needing strings replaced, he was able to work with bowtech and get my cam replaced at no charge and walked out with my bow at a fraction of the cost I thought I was going to spend. Amazing customer service will definitely be going back for all mine and my families now needs!

great service for many years and I had a issue when they were only trying to help my mom they understood fully and replaced the item with no issues. good luck getting down home care like this place from the owner and owners daughter. it is a great feeling to be treated fair at Dunns, in this day and age when most don't care. thank you Dunns Sporting Goods

Doesn't follow the law.Refuses to accept electronic generation of FOID card."Legislation effective January 1, 2022, makes the eCard a valid FOID or CCL combo card for the purpose of completing firearm transaction or ammunition purchases. (430 ILCS 65/6.2)... The eCard should be treated in the same manner as a physical FOID card; accordingly, the ISP encourages you to always run the card in LEADS as you would for a physical card. The storeowner may ask for an email of your eCard for their records."This is IL State law. The proprietor not only didn't know this, but furthermore was condescending to me, calling me "buddy" and claiming that he needed a physical card in hand to make a sale.Been waiting over a month for my APPROVED AND PRINTED FOID card to arrive in the mail, and proprietor said they refused to order another of the gun I want if the single one they had in stock sold, so I looked up the law, called the state police, confirmed I can 100% make a firearm purchase with it, all to purchase my firearm from this store to stay local. I call again to illustrate that I have the intent to purchase the firearm, my FOID has been approved a while back, and I am ready to come in to make the purchase with my generated FOID card. (I knew to call because proprietor first time I called to ask about the gun sounded about 70 so probably was not going to be on the up and up with recent laws and technology). Well I was right. Condescended and refused to accept a legal identification of ability to own firearms. Unless he could run it through a copy machine. Because emails don't exist.Well now I'm going online, and I'll order it and give my local place in Carbondale $50 to facilitate the transaction. And they'll get all my business from now on with its maintenance and accessories.So instead of $1,000+ going to local dealers, it'll be about $150. All thanks to ignorance. And people wonder why brick-and-mortar stores are going out of business.Update: A quick call to Five Rings Armory in Carbondale confirmed that I was correct, and they are ready and willing to facilitate the transfer of the firearm from online retailer to my ownership with the use of the electronically-generated FOID card, as per IL state law. I will be doing business with them and recommend that you do the same if you get the chance. Very helpful, not condescending, and knew the law to a T.

Bought a safe and would not recommend delivery as it seems to be some local workers hauling in their private truck at their convenience. We alsi ordered and paid for a special round. After more than a month we cancelled the order and received our money back as they could not even give us an order number on the merchandise. Also seemed a bit aloof as to wanting to assist us.

Went into Dunn's to have some arrows cut. Long story short, the arrows were cut too short - so short they were rendered useless. I called and spoke to the management and they asked me to come back. They were excellent in helping me resolve the situation. I plan on being a customer there for years to come. While sometimes you can expect a wait, be patient because they are helping other customers. And believe me, they definitely take care of their customers. A+++ business!!

Never visited their brick n mortar store but my review is based on a online purchase. I placed an order on December 22nd, money withdrawn from my account and status shows pending carrier pickup. 10 days later they refund my money with ZERO communication!Update:Someone from the company finally contacted me and explained the situation. The item is now back in stock and they honored the price I originally paid.
