Staff ALWAYS courteously helpful always a welcoming "Hello" when entering.Selection of items needed forthe " emergency " household repairs has always been good. A few items priced a bit higher then the BIG box but nothing worth driving for that repair.

It was alright ace has always been ace high prices and hardly any thing ever on sale but I only can give them 3 stars for the reason being is that i called them for a item and they said they got them so I went there and when I got there they said they didn't have what I was looking for I even told them I just called but they probably never looked in the first place. Ended up still getting some thing that i needed though..

I've been coming to the Ace in Manhattan since moving to New Lenox. After moving to Manhattan I am even closer now! Everyone I've spoken to here is incredibly friendly and well versed in product knowledge.The store is always very clean and they have been spot on with their response to the pandemic.

Whitmore has really turned this place around. I hated shopping at this Ace because there was rarely someone to help and when there was they were not friendly. The opposite is the case after my recent experience. I was at the currency exchange and needed two items from the hardware store. Rather than drive to Lowe's, I went into Ace. They was immediately someone to help. They would've got five stars but we're sold out of the Christmas lights I wanted. They did arrange for my items to be at the counter in their Manhattan store however.

I live in Lansing, Il. Just love this place, I was just passing through, it was like walking into a huge store that had everything you could imagine from birthday cards to personal gifts. . Who would of imagined, Ace Hardware on a larger scale, great idea..loved it.

My Grandmother worked at the ORIGINAL TRUE VALUE in Manhattan for 50 yrs. I'm so glad to see the Owners ARE KEEPING WITH A GREAT TRADITION , Staffing and Stocking what one would need from a local small town hardware store ! THANKS GUYS N GALS

You can find everything that you need in this store, but unfortunately of you try to get a car key, the ones with chip or transponder YOU WILL GET RIP OFF!!!! It's way cheaper buying the key on eBay, having ace to cut it and PROGRAMMING IT YOURSELF!!!!!
