If I could rate this vet lower I would, they do not give you a reminder phone call or email for prescriptions that are about to run out, and they wont give you any sort of extension to ensure your pet stays on their medication while you wait for a new appointment. Not to mention, when I called the receptionist was extremely rude. My pet will now have a gap in his medication while I wait for a new appointment. I have had a different vet extend a prescription for a month and they have ALWAYS called if a prescription is about to run out. I am disappointed with the service, the overall treatment by the staff, and honestly the cleanliness of the facility. I only brought my pets here within the last year and I will never bring them back.

This is my dog, Chevy. Due to carelessness, he had to have his entire hind leg amputated. All because he had his paw wrapped too tight after having a NAIL removed. I hope you think of him every time your staff has to wrap the paw of another person's pet. Chevy didn't deserve to have this happen to him. It has been almost four years, and we are still upset about this.

Great service for my ailing furry friend. Though he did not survive his illness I was very happy with the care he received. From making sure I was ok with the costs of treatment to check up on him with follow up calls. Will for sure be taking the rest of my past there in the future.

Dr Heinrich and technicians were very knowledgeable, patient, friendly and price conscious. We had a lot to discuss and manage for 2 senior dogs, one which is a really difficult patient, and they were great throughout the visit. We’ll be regulars!

Only vet I will take my cats to (I drive over 45 min here every time!). Staff treats animals like their own and are very knowledgeable and kind. Also very affordable!

One of the best vets around. They are always very helpful and pleasant. Everyone is great with my little rat terrier. Their offices are clean and never crowded. Good prices. Often services cost less than here than at the local competition. They also have remained open through the pandemic less hours maybe but that is under stable. They have been exemplary at maintaining an environment that is healthy for all.

I'm a long time customer of Stone Creek. I am very impressed by the way they are dealing with the covid 19 safety measures. When I showed up for my appointment, a sign told me to call them when I arrived. The appointment was held curbside, and when my dog needed tests and shots, they took her inside. Everything was done very well and quickly. They were kind and very helpful.

Very happy so far! Reasonable prices and the staff is very personable. They seem to really care about their clients, and from my experience, try to give you the best suggestions for medications when it comes to pricing (instead of just throwing the highest prices possible at you and not recommending lower priced alternatives). Our GSD has terrible allergies and they actively worked with us to find more cost effective alternatives that help her stmptoms

The ALARA principle is very important to me. No extra medications or injections. I specifically asked for distemper/parvo/hepatitis(adenovirus) vaccines ONLY three times. I repeated it thrice so there would be no misunderstanding. No leptospirosis vaccine which btw isn't part of puppy vaccinations at their sister clinic according to the employee I spoke to at the Stone Creek Clinic. They gave my puppy dhlp pv according to the invoice. Due to reports of ineffectiveness, short lived immunity and serious side effects of the lepto vaccine I had chosen against it. This was his last set of vaccines. He hadn't had lepto in his first two rounds of vaccines. Their sister clinic did his first set, no lepto. Stone Creek did his second set, no lepto. I have no idea the disconnect for this visit but I'm extremely unhappy. They don't even discuss what they're giving your dog.

Love how they treat your animal as your own! They are always there to help with any questions or concerns. Plus I love how they have two offices one in Makanda and another one in Dongola. The one in Dongola does a laparoscopic spay and they remove all of the parts instead one or another. Whenever my dog had surgery, the dr called me straight after surgery and told me how she was doing and how the surgery went. Both offices are very friendly and there to help you! I love all the staff at both offices. I love how they greet my dog and how friendly and welcoming they are during the appointment. Thank you for giving Fifi wonderful care. ❤️

We took my dog there to get fixed and they did a terrible job on the stitches they are uneven and skin is bunched together. We are going to have to take her to another vet to fix the stitches. Plus they charged us more than the beginning price and said they were "add ons"

I needend heart worm and flea pills for my pup but I couldn't get there by 5pm. They took my payment over the phone and left them in their mailbox. They even had to get one pill from another vet in golconda. They go above and beyond. My puppys co-owner had been going here for years and he highly recommended them. As will I.

Theres something to be said if you have brought your animals to these vets for 16 yrs. The entire staff has shown respect & dignity to all of our animals no matter what time of day or nite.Their prices are reasonable & affordable even offering add'l useful information.They aren't charging you to pay for a fancy office either.Sometimes,you may see donkeys getting physicals or the vet got called out to deliver a calf.We have the utmost confidence in the entire staff.
