In the past I gave them a 4 star. Now after today 1/15/24. I am giving a 1 star. I made a appointment 2 weeks ago. Today no one came out to my house. This will be the 2nd time this happen. I called them. The lady name Brook, she didn't know where The electrician guy was. So she told me she will call me back. Brook called back and told me that the electrician guy has a sick family. So I can make another appointment 2 weeks out. I end up telling her I will call back and make appointment, but I end up calling back and I talk to manager Nathan Kiefer. I told him what happened. That someone should have called me and told me that they wasn't going to make it. Nathan got mad started yelling at me telling me "then call someone else. I don't have to listen to this," and hung up on me. This is not professional and this is coming from a manager. You can't act like the victim, I am the victim! I didn't do nothing wrong. This is not right.Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day

We ordered a refrigerator in early December, it STILL has not arrived. We were initially told it would be 2 weeks, today were told it won't come until late March...I am so disappointed with our whole experience.

I was told 433 for the job, then I received my credit card statement I was charged 533. Was told it was a miscommunication. Be sure and save your paperwork so this doesn’t happen to you.

We had our air-conditioning checked for the summer by Ty Royer, the HVAC service technician. He was fantastic. Ty took time cleaning, diagnosing and explaining the entire process to my wife and me. He is truly top notch and there are no words we could use to express how pleased we were with him and his service!

Made a call about having furnace problems, not immediate but something to be checked out. A couple of days later was having trouble with my pipes. Called again, and they came right out and fixed the pipes issue that day, and then came and took care of my furnace the day after. It was a bad week for things to go wrong with my house, but Hollister's took care of it quickly and efficiently, and even gave me some tips about how to keep it from happening again in the future. Great people, highly recommend.

$69 for a "trip fee" and $95 for and "diagnostic fee". We were quoted a $59 trip fee for one, and not told about a diagnostic fee for two. Most important why a trip fee and then another fee for a diagnosis, what is the point of a trip fee. It is implied you are making said trip to diagnose our problem anyway so why pay to have to hear what's wrong.

Hollister is a really great, friendly company. I have lived in my home 4 years and have always had water issues in my basement. I had another plumbing company come in 3 different times telling me the issue was my sup pump. Hollister came out and figured out right away that it was sewer issues the whole time. Hollister is really friendly trustworthy company!

Hollister Home Center has very qualified people working for them. Larry was very courteous, very knowledgeable, very efficient and very good at his job. I was having electrical issues and he took care of them for me. A job "Well Done". I now have light & power and am a very happy customer. I have hired Hollister Home Center many times, for different types of jobs......and will continue to hire them again. They can always figure out the problem, solve it, and take care of it. They remind me of MacGuyver ...what else can I say.

After contacting all of our friends and acquaintances who do plumbing and not being able to get anyone to come work on our clogged drain, Hollister was able to come out the same day. Larry D. and Kevin F. were great. They even had helpful tips if our drain clogged again.

I worked with Kim recently to update my window treatments of my home I've been living in for 10 years. The old metal blinds needed to go and kind of depressed me every time I looked at them... Having Kim's expertise and suggestions with selection and ordering was amazing. Now that they are installed - I can only say - life changing! Who would have thought window treatments would make me fall in love with my house again, but they have. I'm so grateful and can't recommend Kim and the team there enough!

We asked Hollisters to give us an estimate to completely redo our bathroom. John Purdy and his staff responded quickly and professionally and we had quite a brainstorming session on the initial interview and subsequent discussions . A thorough written estimate was provided by Nathan, which was redone the several times we added or changed our minds. They were very patient with us (thank you, Sue) through the entire process. Once we finalized plans, they started in a timely manner and stuck with the job all the way through to finish. The crew includedGLEN the carpenter, BILL the plumber, BRET the electrician, and DOUG the tiler. They were all polite, professional and obliging. We were tickled pink with the final product and Couldn't be happier.Thank you HOLLISTERS for a job well done!

Very professional service. Cost estimate was provided after initial inspection. During the repair, some other components had to be fixed that were not included in the initial estimate, nevertheless, the total cost did not change at the end. The service was efficient and very friendly.

Everyone who works there has been great but when you have to spend 168 dollars for 25 minutes of someones time(who showed up 5 hours after calling to get them to come out) just to be told that the compressor is broke and that it will be another few grand to fix just puts a sour taste in my mouth.
