Nice to have Aldi in Macomb. Their pricing is good. Little store and takes less time to do necessary shopping. I go there frequently. One problem I face always which return is not easy here. They should keep self checkout. Sometimes queue goes so long. But their stuffs are always smiley and hardy.

I like the prices ....the staff is always helpful....it has a lot of different items you don't see in other grocery stores....they may be limited but I have found they have always been true to expectation of product and price. I would recommend Aldi's for sure!!!

As a former grocery store employee, I love this place. So many organic & GF items I can't find in the Midwest at the price I can afford. Well, here's where you go!Don't even get me started on the AIS (aisle of shame) IYKYK. If you don't understand that, look it up and join the AISers...it's fun in here....Honestly? If I ever decided to go back to grocery world, it'd be here...

Bought items to make dinner, after drowning my dinner in cheese, half way through the bag I realized there was mold at the bottom of the bag. The expiration was for another month. I took it back to the store and I understand it’s not their fault because you couldn’t see it through the bag, the manager replaced all my dinner items and gave me a refund. And took that product off the shelf. Things happen, and they helped as soon as we had an issue, great management and staff

They've not done good at keeping the place clean at all. I remember when the check out conveyer belts were wiped down, and very clean, today, they looked like that hasn't been done for a couple of days. They may have been very busy. But I hope things can get back to being at least a little sanitary.. Just my thoughts. Can't blame it on anyone in particular. I'd have wiped it down if there were wipes available.

My complaint is more so on the produce than anything else. Not sure what it is, but the produce from here just gets old and rotten within a few days. It's kind of disturbing. But nonetheless, staff is friendly and helpful.

It's been over a year since I gave my review, so let me update it. If there were any other alternatives to shopping here, besides Walmart, we would shop elsewhere. It's not bad, but there are some things in which I feel they fall short, and they are deal-breakers.Pros:1. It was pretty dark when we first started shopping here, but it seems they've improved the lighting. So it's brighter than our previous visits.2. I think they sell fresher fruits and vegetables than Walmart, so that's always a plus.Cons:1. We only shop here for groceries, and they have a "here today, gone tomorrow" section, which I despise. First, I am very sensitive to certain foods, and it's EXTREMELY frustrating to find food I can actually eat only to realize it's only there that day. Seasonal and holiday items are fine, but when it comes to things like a tortilla brand or crackers or bread that doesn't have anything that will make you sick, that's ridiculous. Second, I've never understood the reasoning behind companies utilizing the FOMO mentality of their consumers. To me, it just seems like all they see and care about are your bottom dollar at the end of the day when they do that.2. Their fruits and veggies are very limiting. It's a small store, but the fruits and veggies section only encompasses not even a quarter of the entire store. The breads section is even worse, only having a tiny section in between the fruits/veggies isle and the dairy section at the back of the store. Everything else is either canned, boxed, and/or limited edition. It shows where they want you to spend your precious coins.3. Speaking of coinage, it costs you a quarter to use the cart, apparently, to prevent people from stealing them. You get it back IF you remember to pull it out when you put the cart away. The company can do whatever they choose to do with their merchandise, fine. What happens when you don't have a quarter in the 2020s era? You have to carry everything in your arms because they don't provide hand baskets. Please, if you guys really care about this issue, find a better solution to solve the problem.Overall, as I said before, were it not for lack of other competitors, we wouldn't be shopping here. But at least their produce seems to be slightly better than Walmart. Once something else comes along, I'm gone and not looking back.

I went today.and found a couple of Valentines home Decor I asked the cashier to see how much they were. She got on her headset to ask I'm assuming Mgmt and then told me that it was Regular price. Whatever! 4 days after the Holiday people. It should have been marked down.

Our cashier, a young black man with dreads has the best attitude and a smile that was infectious. Much better than the cranky smugness of the other cashier.

Great prices but rude staff. I didn't know something and cashier talked to me rudely after people having to wait awhile because she wasn't around to check people out if it wasn't for the great prices a clean store and not having to worry if something is in stock the rating would be one

I go there four or five times a week. They have better prices than the big grocery store right next door. Very high quality produce because it turns over rapidly. They are at a easy in and out location.

not a fan of Jeremy!! Does more talking then working and why should a cashier get paid the amount they do when all they do is chuck your items in a cart that you have to pay a quarter to use. Some good items but thats about it.

If you are more interested in saving money than you are in amenities, this is a place you should try. Bring your own bags or boxes for your goods. Bring a quarter to rent a grocery cart. Be prepared to enjoy their bare bones pricing.
