Absolutely fell in love with a guinea pig at their location and asked for her to be put on hold until I could pick her up the following day. They confirmed with me that she would be on hold for me, but when I came into the store to buy the guinea pig, the same person who put her on hold, told me they had given her to someone else an hour prior to me arriving. Even though I requested for her to be put on hold, and they confirmed with me she would be reserved for me. Yet, they still sold her to someone else. overall, super disappointed.

I wrote a review a year ago about problems getting stock here. This problem has now been rectified and I am happy I can continue to use this store. There coupons are great. And someone has really impressed on the store workers the importance of greeting people, helping people, and caring for their customers. I have had service above and beyond here. Well done!

Well stocked and customer service is personable and attentive. They show that they care about you in making effort to show up in their store. A young man just dropped what he did to help me find a cat dry food that I ordered online as i did not pick up in time. He showed ownership mentality and attentive customer service. Another pet store chain abusing and neglecting reptiles due to ignorance...disgusting. how dare you sell a uro in this shape! If you don't know how to properly care for an animal, you have no business carrying them! Hopefully they will be reported for this abuse. It's amazing what people get away with just because it's not a cat or dog.

DO NOT BUY A PET FROM ANY PET STORE CHAIN. BUY FROM A REPUTABLE BREEDER!!!!!!If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The “care” that these reptiles and other pets receive is unacceptable. This uromastyx looks like it is dead. It’s dehydrated, and clearly doesn’t have the proper set up. I really wish pet stores would stop using reptile carpet. It is so bad for reptiles!! Also, where’s its UVB and heat?! This is absolutely disgusting. Do better.

I've been using their delivery service and it's wonderful. I love the discounts, and the people in the store are always very, very helpful. Yes, Bella, you are one of the best! But they all are fabulous. I've been shopping at Pet Supplies Plus for almost 20 years starting with the Highland Park/Deerfield store. The Libertyville store is wonderful, too.

A pet Supplies Plus associate went out of her way to help me place my online order. Then, along with a thank you note, they included a free “Goodie” bag for my dogs that had treats, a curly chew, a whistle, & a chip clip. Curbside pickup was fast. Everyone was very courteous.

horribly disappointed in the care from this store. there is a uromastyx for sale that is practically de@d. nothing but skin and bones.‘i’ve never seen a reptile in such poor conditions. incredibly sickening to see from such an establishment.

Love this place. They got everything you need and costumer service is great, friendly and i love the wash cards. It's a stamp card for 5 washes only $25. Showers are clean, they always have towels to dry your dog or you can blow dry. Bath for small and big dogs, also shampoos for hypoallergenic dogs.

I wish zero stars were an option. They think it is okay to starve and neglect their animals, and are willing to sell a half dead Uromastyx. Absolutely should not even be allowed to sell animals!

This is the best pet store hands down in the area because of the wonderful people who work here and are very kind as well as helpful. I’ve been shopping here since they opened and regularly purchase all sorts of pet items. Great selection of merchandise for all sorts of pets and extremely helpful people who work here.

I have a very large dog 90 pound lab mix and I used the walk-in pet wash at pet supplies plus for the first time it was amazing. They provide a great space shampoo conditioner towels and dryer‘s. I wash my dog wipe things down and walk away it was amazing and they have a special if you buy a five punchcard it’s only five dollars per wash definitely worth the money.

Animal cruelty. They have animals in there that need vet care but instead they make excuses. Please if you decide to sell certain species of reptiles do the research and know exactly what they need because trying to sell them half dead is NOT acceptable.

I used to go here for live crickets in a pinch. The drive is about 15 minutes. My experience is from a consumer who really only went here for reptile supplies. The manager was always great when she was there. The rest of the staff ranked from o.k. - Bad. Today My wife just picked me up two bags of twenty crickets on her way home from work. ( I need 150+ Every week but they never correctly count anymore so I order bulk online). There is literally only 3 live ones between both bags. Whoever bagged it didn’t put air in the bags. My wife said it was a lady with an English accident . Not even worth the hassle and the trip to drive back to return it, I will no longer be going to this location.

Great store always clean organized and friendly knowledgeable staff. However last time I went in there Robin the Manager was extremely rude, blowing past my friend and I while loading a cart, no “hi” or “excuse”. As a manager myself, I couldn’t fathom being so rude. Miserable people shouldn’t be in customer service 😑
