Friendly cashier. Dollar General employees work hard. Probably overworked under paid. She was busy stocking and had to keep coming forward when people were ready to check out. I wish our local store would do some work to the bathroom. It was out of order and poor pregnant lady had to leave instead of doing her shopping. I do like their prices and usually have what I need

Worst Dollar General I’ve visited. Never stocked, variable hours changing daily, expired foods on the shelf, boxes and carts blocking aisles and self checkout is down on most days.

The service is always good.... but always out of stuff. Dollar general employees should be able to order the store but they are not allowed corporate orders the store with that being said they have a ton of stuff they dont need and nothing they do need.Was in there tonight lots of empty holes. So it would be great if corporate would just send promo stuff and let manager/ employees order the store. I feel if that happened yall would not be out of stuff so often and the employees could focus more on the store instead of unloading containers that are ful of stuff they dont need!!!

This is probably my favorite Dollar General out of if the four I visit. The workers are always the friendliest and most helpful, the prices are great of course, and it almost always has the best selection of the widest array of products. Don't be fooled by the time-worn exterior - inside those doors, there really is something for everyone!! And since it's Dollar General, you know y¹¹¹ou'll get a great deal on anything you buy. Give it a try!

This is the most unorganized clustered mess of a store. Its virtually impossible to walk down an aisle. You have to walk 3 aisles over to park your cart to get to the isle for what you need. Its absolutely ridiculous and someone seriously needs to get that store in order. It is such an unpleasant shopping experience! Being in such a small town with limited options, it's really unfortunate this location is in such poor hectic shape.

Store may be redesigning and relocating sections to other areas. But areas that are staying the same are just as bare. Very little on shelves throughout the store. Three of five regulat items I went shopping for were not on shelves. Had to compromise. Disappointing.9/7/19. Update. Found ice cream freezer broke down. Not surprised but disappointed that remodel only stuck for 8 months before falling back into it's old ways. Need a new building. Building is not designed or equipt to handle basic store functions

Update: The Dollar General in Leroy is getting better. At least they have better workers and extra cashier's. We still need new store like every other small town but....

I appreciate that we have this store in our town. However, when there is all the incoming stock carts out on the floor blocking items we WANT to purchase... it's Absolutely Ridiculous!! When I asked why I couldn't purchase my items because I was blocked out, I was told the Manager Shantell doesn't like all the product in the back!Let me tell you this, you are losing customers right and left. LeRoy people are now shopping in Farmer City and Bloomington because of this mess!! Someone needs to fix this immediately!!

I don't know what happened at the dollar general in LeRoy. But it has went down hill in the last couple weeks. You can't go in there when a item is on sale and get it. For example totes went on sale and did not have a lid to fit the few that was there in stock. The people that work there are cluless. They don't know where anything is and no customer service skills what so ever. Don't buy gift cards in there you won't get home with them. I bought one for 25.00 to outback steak house was charged for it on my ticket. Called up there thinking they might have it. The girl said she put it in my sack I looked in every sack was not there. My mom also bought one and found it in a bunch of artificial flowers. Who does that they schould be handed back to the customer. I ask if they could void that card and issue a new one. She told me she would look at the tape and see if it was put in bag. I spend average 100.00 everyother week there and so does my mom. We will be going somewhere else from now on. Whoever got let go or fired bring them back. The store is falling a part. Dirty ailse are blocked can't get to anything. Please take this as constuctive critisisome and do something about it.

As others have said, it's often impossible to get to the merchandise you want because there are boxes stacked in front. Aisles are narrow anyway, then the staff insists on parking full carts in the middle. Generally grungy with a lot of caked on dirt on the floor. Lighting isn't great. Like many DG's, expect a long wait to check out if there isn't someone at the register, they are are out blocking the aisles with merchandise and rarely check the counter to see if someone is standing there. It's the only "department" store in town, so not much choice but to go there or drive into Bloomington.

Workers are great and helpful. The store is old, crowded with stuff, and run down. The lot us horrendous. Really need a new store. There are locations not far to build a new larger store.

I know they're having issues getting employees but you never know if they're going to be open or not anymore. Once again, they're closed. 2pm on a holiday weekend.

Very narrow and crowded aisles lead to a messy or unclean atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and was patient with shoppers throughout the checkout process.

Had a terrible interaction with one of their employees Kerrigan she was mean and rude when I asked about if something was in stock or not and told me to go find it when clearly I was asking because they had boxes everywhere not opened and emptied yet several areas of the shelf were bear.

The staff is friendly and helpful just what you expect from a dollar general the only thing is they should carry ice and stay open later and have more tools

I like that we have a dollar general in leroy, but some of their changed have left a bad taste in my mouth. The people are friendly and helpful. I will continue to sho there!
