This is a new restaurant & bar in LaRose, Illinois (very small rural village). The owners really did a great job renovating this building and making it modern. This place is a big asset to LaRose and provides travelers with a good reason to stop in their village and patronize local businesses.While my personal experiences dining in were both peaks and valleys, the valleys were not at the fault of the owner. A lot of restaurants are really struggling right now to find good reliable assistance in the kitchen. The wait times for food were very long, but the food was really good. I imagine when the restaurant finds stable and reliable workers, they will cut down the time it takes to get the food out to the tables.I would definitely give this restaurant a chance if you are in the area. Their wings were fantastic. They also have really great specials that constantly change. Try to be understanding if your food takes longer than usual to get to the table, they are working with what they have available right now.

We stopped by Gatorz on our way home from late night softball in Peoria. It was close to their kitchen closing and they graciously took us in. The service was awesome! The food is INCREDIBLE. Our new favorite pit stop! Our kids enjoyed the food too! Burnt ends and Mac n cheese, cheeseburger, thin crust pizza and wings. Everything was fantastic!

Took 15 minutes to get waited on JUST for drink order, another 10 to get drinks and to place our order. It was NOT busy by any means. I have had much better pizza and husband had the Fish sandwich which he said was not good either. Onion rings literally were dripping oil from them and they were also over cooked.

We had their special tonight, country fried steak special was to DIE FOR!! The waitress was very attentive and nice. The pizza is good as well. Definitely worth the drive!
