I bought a $700 tiller mid March. My boyfriend went to pick it up for me and thier store policy is to start it before you take it. The kid who went to start it was going to do it without putting oil in it even. Thankfully my boyfriend stopped it. I had it a week and 8 days before a belt broke. I was told by a manager that they won't fix it but if i buy the belt they will put it on but that takes 3 to 4 weeks for them to do it. Explained I didn't need them to put it on I did order the belt the guy told me 2 to 3 days to get it in. Five days later I get a call about the belt being in. I go to pick it up and I told the guy this isn't the numbers on my belt I don't think it's right. He told me to take it home and if it's not right bring it back. I live 20 minutes away and of course when I got home it's the wrong belt. Guy could of looked it up there but didn't. I at this point just want to return it. I take it back speak to Melissa who's was lackluster with her response. They fix it don't return them. I tell her at this point we don't want them to fix it we simply want to return the tiller this is prime time for planting a garden. She could careless I would say things and she would completely ignore what I was saying. She says she can order the belt and that is all. I said ok get it over nighted I need to get my garden in. She won't do that either so I have to wait who knows how long to be able to till the rest of my garden and my garden isn't even that big.

This store is exactly what the name implies, farm, gardening, animal, and outdoor home products. Really full selection of everything from animal/pet food to name brand yard machines and tools to outdoor furniture, yard flags, and numerous bird feeders and food. They have a great selection of seasonal clothing and shoes/boots for the whole family for work and play. Add in a variety of fun toys and snacks for everyone and it's a fun store to visit when the need arises.My only drawback is the pricing. Their prices are a little high which I would expect because they sell quality brands, but even their lower end items seem a little excessive. They do have some ongoing weekly and seasonal sales that help with the budget but some more substantial coupons would be really great.All in all shopping at eithěr of their locations is always a fun time.

The way they treat employees here is a joke. Absolute worst place to work in Jerseyville. Management needs to get it together and hire decent people instead of firing and mistreating their good workers with hour cuts so severe they can’t even provide for themselves. I’ve heard nothing but terrible experiences from employees.Edit: No, I don’t want to ‘contact’ anybody, I want you to start treating your employees like adults. Thank you.

Good store I asked what isle the dryer vent hoses were and an employee took me right to them. Great customer service. I would recommend.

I always enjoy shopping at farm and home. They have great deals throughout the store and sell quality items. I'm not 100 percent sure but I think they do price match other stores and they will give you money off of items that have defects, small scratches, light dents, ect...

During our visit the Assistant Manager was caring for an older customer who was having a medical issue. We were very impressed with the care given to that customer as well as keeping the business running smoothly. They had plenty of employees to assist customers, stock shelves and have two check out lines running.

This store is always fun to explore!! The place is clean and the workers are very friendly and helpful. Today I was purchasing seed and such for my garden but had to go look at the baby chick's and ducks, too!!

This is one of my favorite stores...but...I was not impressed when I took my Mom to purchase mulch and afterward we couldn't get anyone to load it, so I did it myself. I hope this doesn't normally happen and it was just a fluke because I would really hate for my Mom to come back alone to buy more mulch and then not be able to get it loaded into her car. Please do better! Jerseyville Farm and Home is my favorite store.

Always find something I need. Took my Stihl chainsaw in for service, and I grabbed some wasp spray, a can of 2 cycle mixed gas and a box of self defense 9mm. Asked a man that worked there if they had something I was looking for and he said he didn't think so, but came and found me on the other end of the store with one. Gotta love Farm & Home!

I was very impressed with the service at this store. I purchased a chainsaw and had an issue with it. I received assistance from the counter guy, mechanic, and store manager all of which were very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store

Clean, organized, very easy to find what I needed. Staff very helpful, very knowledgeable. Lines moved very quickly. Clerk was very pleasant, chatted as she checked me out, even double-bagged my glass products.
