I am visiting from Colorado and with my mom, stopped by Walgreeens. Picked up beer and was declined sale by manager Cristal due to my mom who is 72 years old didn't have an Id on her at that moment. I had I'd, and despite this they decline sale and told me to come back tomorrow by my self. I am far from being 21 my self. Never saw service like this. I asked manager Kristal, who declined sale, permission to take her picture, unfortunately she refused. I am not sure how to understand that situation. However in Colorado Walgreen employees have coming since.

This is without question the worst Walgreens Pharmacy I have ever been too. They give ZERO cares regarding personal privacy and overall customer satisfaction.I waited 47 minutes in the drive thru, took a flu test, waited three hours and never received my results. I ended up calling them and they said " they ran out of testing supplies". Couldn't even call me and let me know.Comically bad.

I must say this store is pretty disappointing for Highland Park. The store is very unclean and unsanitary . The coolers don't work and items are warm. When asking a Walgreens member about their coolers not working. you get a snotty sarcastic response, very unprofessional. The amount of money you pay to live in downtown Highland Park Area and this is what type of store people have to deal with for our medications or items we need. Very very sad management!

0stars. They're very rude. The technicians can care less about your medication needs. They see a computer screen that tells them problems and they leave it there until it arises that you need your medication, then is when they tell you when there are problems rendering you either with nothing or having to go elsewhere after you've waited.I have never ever in my life had a worse experience with walgreens pharmacy as I have with this one for the 20+ years I give walgreens my business. And forget it if you need updates on when your medications will be ready or if they go out of stock and you're not told about any issues regarding insurance or stock.You'd think that they'd be a little more professional and courteous as they work in an environment that revolves around medication and pharmaceuticals. The staff hangup on calls when you call they put u on hold right away and if you do manage to speak to a technician, false information is given more than not. It's sad really. It doesn't cost much to put a smile on your face and at least care about your job handling patient's medication rather than just clock in and clock out.

Worst Walgreens ever. The staff could care less that you are waiting especially in the pharmacy area. Even though this is the most convenient location for us, we have begun going out it of our way to get better service. Really hope you figure this out.

655 Sheridan pharmacy is the absolute worse. Not many people in lines and you can still wait for an hour. No one answers the phone. Everybody I speak to knows this place has the worst customer service. These people do not deserve your business. Go to another pharmacy

Man if I could write a new 1 star review I would. This is an update. My doctor sent through a prescription over 5 days ago and I go to th3 pharmacy to pick up and they said it isn't ready yet and I'll have to wait. I'm also not the only one waiting for a prescription that should've been ready! Also, someone just came back saying they were given the wrong medication. Is that a joke?! I then had the pharmacist argue with me over my pill dosage and instructions! Youre not my doctor so fill it how it says to be filled!This pharmacy SUCKSSSS. Not sure what's being done if anything at all to make it better but I'm going to start sending my prescription elsewhere. This is so ridiculous. Waste of time.This has got to be the slowest service at any place I've ever been to. Super unorganized not only at the front but at the pharmacy as well. There's hasn't been a single time that I've been here where it was remotely quick. 1 person working the front and pharmacy pretty much ALWAYS...go in to get one thing and you waste 30min of your life in line. If you have an appointment set up for a vaccine, be prepared to wait 20min in last past your appointment time AND sit waiting for at least another 10-15. Apparently having an appointment doesn't help save any time.

We've been using this Walgreens for almost 3 years. I don't know how busy this Walgreens is, but the service there can be frustrating when going through the drive through. Half the time I'm there to pick up a prescription, a 3 car-line can take 15 minutes or more. I was there 09 21 to pick up a prescription that was ready for me. It took 8 minutes for the clerk to find my prescription in the refrigerator. Usually it takes a minute or so. I'm not sure why, but if she was called to help someone else, a simple explanation would have made sense and be less frustrating.

Do not, I repeat, do not get any photos developed at this store. I have dealt twice with the store manager and it's like dealing with an artichoke. He doesn't listen, doesn't understand how the on-line coupons work and he doesn't allow you to get a word in edgewise during a discussion. Use the Walgreens in Deerfield on Waukegan. The staff is actually knowledgeable and friendly.

Wait times are ridiculous. If there is no one in the line you will wait several minutes to be waited on. If there are more than 2 people in line, it is a 45 minute wait. Intolerable. Switching to CVS.

Walgreens at this location is no longer functioning the way they used to. After five hours waiting for important medication and unable to get thru to them via phone (message was always one person ahead of you) I drove there. They told me they don’t answer phones because only two people are there. My medicine had been filled but as the pharmacist didn’t check it yet that is why it was not released for pickup. And the pharmacy was empty during that time. Incompetent is their new motto.

You will sit on hold for 10 minutes each and every time you call. Once the 10 minute hold time comes before anyone decides to pick up the call they will automatically drop call and you'll need to call back to repeat the process several times until someone decides to answer the phone (so far today this happened SIX times in a row, only "Walgreens please hold". yep that's one hour on hold in total). They might be very nice people, but this is absolutely ridiculous that you can't get through to anyone at the pharmacy.

I have been using this Walgreens store for decades. It is convenient to my home. However, in recent years the pharmacy service has been poor. They are badly understaffed. Wait times are very long in the store and at the drive in window. Trying to reach them by phone is almost impossible, very frustrating.

I don't know what happened to this Walgreens but the pharmacy has become so slow, it's worse than going to the DMV in Deerfield. I wish this was an isolated incident but 4 times in the last month we have sat in the drive thru line for almost an hour for a drive thru that only holds 5 cars. What's worse is if you get in line you have no way to get out because of their parking lot so you are stuck waiting once you get in line. Highly recommend parking and walking in but I can't say inside is any faster but at least you're not trapped.

If i could give this place zero… I would. Avoid it especially if you arent willing to spend 30 min in line even though there is hardly anyone in the store. Dont get me started on the pharmacy workers. The pharmacists are great but wow… their support staff…

Never setting foot in this location again. They have “lost” special order pharmacy items (such as my cat’s insulin syringes) begins the counter, never calling to say the order came in, and not knowing anything when I called, pleading ignorance when I came in person - until one girl pulled a bag out and said it had been there over a week and she wondered why I’d not yet picked it up. (Maybe I need my psychic abilities tuned up?) The systems just to manage the pharmacy are almost non-existent but the pharmacy manager denied that the poor communication etc. was his fault.Tonight I went to drop scripts and fill them before close. There was a sign in the drop off/consultation window directing customers to the pick up counter instead, so I queued up and waited patiently. My turn came just as a man walked to the consultation window (ignoring the sign). The pharmacist did not ask if I would wait. Instead she told me to wait and turned to hold a lengthy discussion about flu vaccine with the newcomer.NotSettingFootInThereEVERAgain

Our family has been having the hardest time with this pharmacy for sometime now. I, like many other highland parkers, was fed up. We've switched to an independent pharmacy in Deerfield that does free delivery and has been a pleasure to work with. Heck, we've even saved a bunch of money since switching. For those having just as hard of a time with walgreens as we have, then you won't be disappointed with telescript pharmacy.

Went for my son’s flu shot and we had the worst experience. The clerk was unbelievably rude to the long line of people waiting ( all with appointments) and yelling at everyone. The pharmacist was not much better and didn’t even acknowledge my son before giving him the shot. I will go to a CVS next time.

Worst pharmacy ever. Impossible to get any service whether you call, visit in person or go to the drive through. You will waste at minimum 30 minutes, but most likely closer to an hour.

Go to this Walgreens pharmacy if you want them to give you pills they dropped on the floor (outside of the bottle) and if you don’t want your GoodRx coupon code honored even though the employee started to say the coupon code price (cheaper) and then corrected themself to what they’re actually billing you.

So I had just finished a landscaping job nearby and was paid in cash, so I decided to head over to Walgreens to load it to my card; it was a small amount but I hate carrying cash, especially single bills. I'm not sure if it was how I look but the cashier seemed a bit skeptical (that's fine). She then proceeds to yell out, "oh it's counterfeit", then when she realizes it wasn't, she didn't give an apology or even acknowledge her mistake. Then as I was leaving out the store, she says to a cashier; with suspicion, "wonder why he needed to load that on a card", i'm paraphrasing but neither the less, it isn't her concern nor is it professional. I live in the area so I will shop there again but behavior like that shouldn't be tolerated.

Very unprofessional, the dr send the prescription to the pharmacy i was in line for 40 minutes and when it finally was my turn they told me it was out of stock. I would appreciate if you would've called me to let me know as soon as you tried to fill it.Not only that, they said they will order for the next day i could pick up by 2pm. At 3:22 pm i called to confirm that it was ready, the guy who answer was very rude! He had his attitude and told me it was out of stock, i explained to him that someone called me yesterday saying they will have it instock today and he wouldn't let me talk he kept talking over me! I will definately change pharmacy!

Absolutely horrible service at this location. As someone calling from a doctor’s office trying to fix a prescription for one of our patients, I was left on hold for 15+ minutes and hung up on three separate times, including once by the manager...! Completely unacceptable. Worst customer service of ANY of the local Walgreeens. I feel bad for their customers.
