I accidentally left my wallet in a shopping cart. By the time I realized it, the store was closed. I returned to the store at open to see if it had been turned in. I asked a. Employee, Misti, if it had shown up. She was very friendly and helpful. She checked in the safe, asked me questions to verify that I was indeed the owner. She was so friendly and professional. To my relief, my wallet was in the safe, complete with all of its contents! I am very happy that there are still honest people in town. It had been turned in safe and sound. I like the way this was handled by the store, and wanted to publicly thank Misti for her attention to security, as well as exemplary customer service!

They would get a higher rating if they weren't always out of the the things I need, 3 times in a row the have been out of cases of bottled purified water, cat litter, and the kind of cat food I usually buy. And then when you ask when they will be getting another order in, you get a big run around of I don't know or let me ask someone.... Should everyone not know when orders arrive???

The store is always clean. I can easily find everything I'm looking for in there. The lines are usually long though because there is usually only one person working on the registers (even though the have I think 3). But all of the employees are always friendly and helpful

Store was clean. Items were easy to find. Prices were good. Arrangement of the store makes shopping quicker. Staff was friendly and I didn't have to wait long to check out.They have most items that you need so it's one stop shopping.

It's a nice store for your basic essentials, pet supplies, food, linens, cleaning supplies & medications. Prices aren't bad and the store is clean, friendly but not real organized at times.

I visited this location on 3-6-2021 at around 6 pm. While my items were being rung up, the cashier was chatting another employee. I wasn't paying much attention to what their conversation was about, but I did hear her say "I didn't want her to think I was 'retarded." This is NOT ok!! That is extremely offensive. As a grandmother of a boy with special needs, I was outraged. How unprofessional and bigoted! She did not have her name tag on, she had blonde hair. She is not a good representative of this establishment. I'm very disappointed.

This is one of the most unorganized stores I've ever seen. You can barely get up the aisles for all the stock not being on the shelves. Staff is nice though.

Check out gal had her mask down on her chin. NOT EFFECTIVE. The plastic is not protecting either one of us. Carrier Mills store employees have always had their mask on when I was there!

Brought in a dollar general coupon to save $5 and can't use the coupon unless you sign up to dollar general while standing in line. Been messing with it for like 5 minutes and still won't take off the $5. Feel sport for the people standing in line behind us. Totally ridiculous scheme to get all your digital information for marketing purposes.

Good for a quick grab and go shopping trip if there is someone at the cash register to ring you up. On 4 occasions I have left without buying anything because I couldn't find an employee to run the checkout.

The place seemed to have some of the items I needed. But I was looking for men's summer clothes & women's The were all bunched up with all sizes mixed together! Didnt have time to sort through the bunched up clothes on the racks!

It was junked up, merchandise in boxes, in the isles, no one to wait on you..only one employee there , and she was on her phone, behind the counter... something needs to be done about these stores, they are that way in all Dollar General stores ..bad

The employees and managers at the Eldorado Illinois location are always so friendly and helpful. Dollar general provides some great deals, especially if you are a couponer.
