we stumbled upon this gem while trailing wineries around Galena for the first time ever! St. Charles just happens to be a hometown to us since our fav pizza place resides there on the river and our company Fox Valley Glass started that way on Dean St. So AMAZING to see owners from our area with a phenomenal venue miles away! Our experience was stellar! The wines were A plus from the cellar! & we promise to back again soon for another tasting when the weather gets warmer!! A better Vineyard in the area...............Fogetttaboutit!! only go to Fergedaboudit!! We took 4 bottles home for the memory!!

Really a great time. The owner Vicky was so wonderful and friendly. They are normally busy on Saturdays. We happened to be there yesterday (Sunday). They were still busy but probably because of the festival going on in Galena.We had a tasting than a couple glasses of wine that we brought outside. They had several tables and the sun was shining so it was a really nice day.The wines that they make are good. However, several of their grapes that they use come from California which is unfortunate but I understand. Some grapes don't grow well around there I guess.

This place is amazing! They have several tasting options, a couple versions of which you can try all their wines. The owner and associate that served us were terrific. Very knowledgeable and fun people. The outdoor area is incredible; views that need to be captured, outdoor seating, decorative water landscaping, a deck with live music on Saturdays, altogether breathtaking. And the wine was...WOW! Left with two cases.

Love this place!❤️The experience is hands down the best! Plan to spend a few hours there just enjoying the view and seternity.The customer service and expertise is 10 stars! Don’t know what to drink? Don’t worry they will figure it out and recommend. They take the time to ensure you have the ultimate experience. 🔥Recently brought a few bottles to our family in Texas and let’s just say they didn’t last long.😂🍷

Went on a tour for my birthday, and it was a great experience learning about vineyard history. They had so many great sweet and dry wine choices. Also, I ordered the cheese platter to go along with the wine.Seeing the owner in there was great! It made us feel more welcome.

Jaime is so knowledgeable and friendly! It was a wonderful experience! It's seasonal but I highly recommend trying the mulled wine. They sell the spice packets so you can make it yourself at home too... I definitely plan to do that!

Nice drive out to the winery with great signage so it is easy to find. We did the 6 for $6 tasting. We prefer sweet wines so most of the wines were not to our liking. If found the Moscato to actually be very dry but we were told that is the way the winemaker wants it to taste because he doesn't like sweet wine. Tasting room attendant didn't offer anything in the way of history of the winery or winemaker but kept dropping names like we had any idea who she was talking about. Felt like she was reading from a script and didn't have much personality.We did enjoy the wine slushies and the port was very good. Found it to be very expensive. Port was $38 so we couldn't buy anything else. Worth the trip if you like dry wine.

We first had the Poppi Dolce wine a few years ago, and it has become a family favorite. We make the drive periodically to gift it to loved ones and ourselves! They have a lovely property and wine slushies to die for. If you're anywhere nearby and in the mood for vino, it's a must-see stop.

What a gem of a winery! A beautiful place and the staff were all wonderful. We enjoyed wonderful dry, red wines (different than most of the wines we have tasted in this area) and great music. I would highly recommend. It greatly exceeded our expectations!!!

Loved the views and staff. However we did the three glass flights, and received dirty glasses with water stains and lipstick from previous sippers still on it. The flavors were interesting. I had a chardonnay that seemed too stinky to drink and very very dry. Mind you, I like dry wines but these seemed odd. Other than that, the staff was very nice and seemed very happy for us to be there. It was just a bummer that we didn't really enjoy the wine or dirty glasses.

Fergedaboudit hosted our wedding recently, and also hosted our reception. We are so blessed to have found them; they went above and beyond in every aspect of our special day. The food was literally amazing, to the point that every single guest told us at least once how wonderful it was. The location is beautiful, and the decor was so tasteful. They worked with us directly to make sure every detail was perfect, and it was. The staff treated our guests like family as well, and we received many compliments regarding how friendly the staff was during our wedding and reception. We were treated like family and now we have family to visit when we are in northwestern Illinois. If you are looking to host an event, my wife and I cannot recommend Fergedaboudit enough. If the people, food, wine, and location are this good, why go anywhere else?

They had good free music to listen to outside. We sat outside at a table listening to the music, someone would stop by the table to check to see if their was anything we wanted. Great wines!! Great variety from dry wines to sweet wines and in-between. As well as good food to eat, we did wine flights, about 6 half small glasses of wine, pizza, cheese tray, and a wine slushy. As well as they have beer and soda for non wine drinkers.

Although not usually wine drinkers, my wife, daughter and I decided to try a new experience. The scenery and atmosphere is fantastic. It's what I imagined a winery to be, relaxing and serene. There is a charming little store and friendly service. They suggested we try 6-3oz pours which we did. We also had an $8 cheese platter and a root beer. Unfortunately the wine was too acidic for our beer palates so my wife settled our tab and we left. I later learned it was $39 plus tip. I figured it must be a mistake. I reached out and the owner informed me it was correct. The menu says 6-1oz is $6, glasses are $6-8 and a flight is 10-14 but mine was $28- go figure. There is no transparency which is a problem for me.

All I can say is WOW! The wine and service was amazing! I enjoy a personalized touch when I explore a winery and this place was so charming and lovely. The wholesome and backstory of the family and their wines makes the experience better, and the wine is amazing. I couldn’t help myself and bought a few bottles, and I will make sure to come back this summer so I can buy some more! 😊

The location is stunning with views of rolling hills, grapevines, and green pastures.We did a wine tasting in the afternoon, along with a cheese plate. The wine was fabulous, and the cheddar-apple cheese, my favorite! They even took the time to show us around the operation of the winery. They manufacture a wide variety of white and red wines.Vicki and the team were welcoming and friendly. We had so much fun; I would highly recommend Fergedaboudit.

The road to this vineyard is horrible. It's down a makeshift road in the middle of the field. It took us forever to turn around because we didn't feel safe driving through the middle of a field surrounded by trees on a makeshift trail. Save your car, don't come here.
