I’m new to are and was in search for new cigar spot for my friends and myself, we smoke daily. Owner here was not so friendly. Bought a cigar tried to smoke it the next day because I was too busy that day. He said I had to buy another cigar for that day lol. I just walked out. I wasn’t even going to argue. Cigar wasn’t great either, dry as heck. The bad reviews will keep coming

Great place with good people. The owner is a good guy, employees are cool, regulars are awesome to chat up. Prices are normal for a lounge and top notch selection. They do take care of you here.

I have been going here for long time and the employees here are really nice but the owner always had attitude. Today the owner got mad three of my friends that came in sat with us without getting anything so he told me to let them know and I said I’m so sorry I will let them know but as soon as I turned around the owner started swearing in Hindi which I speak and said something in line of motherfu…. This isn’t a playground then I turned around told him this isn’t how you treat a customer. This place needs to change ownership because with this guy incharge this place will go out of business soon. I would not recommend this place to anyone because owner is always there judging customers and talking bad about customer in his native language.

Outstanding Cigar lounge with a selection that easily exceeds what you'll find in a Binny's or any other cigar shop in the area. Cigar prices are lower, on average, than what you'll find in other stores.The location has 2 lounges - Standard access with about 30 leather chairs and (5) 60" TV's. For a yearly fee, there's a VIP lounge with 24hr access, facial recognition system at the door, and a very high-end feel. Poker room, private restrooms - great score if you have a group you like to have a cigar with over business, celebration or general gathering. Plenty of parking. Starbucks about 75ft from the front door. All major brands of cigars and sticks ranging from a few dollars to over a hundred for the rarest collector-grade sticks. Boxes, humidors and lighters are also for sale. Onsite Wifi and fantastic ventilation system. Great place to grab an occasional stick and get some work done!

If you don’t know how to talk to customers, you shouldn’t be running a business. Very rude owner. I bought a cigar yesterday came to smoke today and he told me I can’t smoke it today because I didn’t buy it today. How stupid is that?

Made my first visit recently and was impressed with the selections they offer. I have always wanted to try a Padrón cigar on the basis of friends’ recommendations and found a huge array of offerings. I tried a 1926 Serie natural and spent the next 90 minutes enjoying and savoring this extremely fine cigar in the lounge on a cold winter day. What a great experience!!!Went again last weekend and tried the 1964 Serie Maduro Padrón and had another great experience.I will continue to visit the lounge often until the weather warms sufficiently to smoke a cigar out of doors.

Keep getting charged when I only had the service for a month an swiftly switch to metro cause of the behavior,uncleanliness & attitude of the store an employee still receiving emails about my 50 dollar service when I only paid for a 30 dollar service very unusual.

The new Rocky Patel Cigar Lounge in Hanover Park is finally open and it’s AWESOME! Great selection of premium cigars, public and private lounges are huge with big screen TV’s everywhere so you can watch all your favorite teams on game day! This is the place to be if you enjoy a great atmosphere and a good smoke!

I’ve seriously never seen a better selection (from Davidoff to Baccarat, they’ve got something for every wallet), and the humidor is always clean and smells perfect.Friendly staff - very polite and helpful.Their lounge is amazing. Comfortable big leather chairs, great air quality, big TVs.

Great selection of Cigars. Staff is knowledgeable and always recommends new cigars and events. Spacious Lounge with enough Tvs to enjoy the same games or different ones. Golf simulator is great for the winter months too and accurate. Will definitely be smoking here and enjoying time with friends and family. Highly recommend ask for Nick he always helps out.

Great cigar lounge! Ive been coming here for a little over 2 years now and the new management is very friendly. The upgrades are amazing, ventilation is good, plus extra VIP rooms and golf simulator if desired. I would say the best part is the great selection and really nice humidor!! Best in the burbs! Prices are fair and facility is clean. Only recommendation would be longer open hours at night but 5 stars none the less!!

I’ve driven by this place a million times as I’ve lived in the area my entire 42 years. I just started smoking cigars this year so this was the first shop I went to (did some ordering online). Prices were the same if not a little cheaper than ordering online and didn’t have to wait for shipping. Nice big humidor with a ton of cigars in all price ranges. Friendly guys behind the counter. Nice lounge, met a friend for a cigar and a business chat and it was very comfortable. My only suggestion would be a little bigger selection of samplers in different price ranges but honestly, it’s a big humidor and I could’ve missed them. I’ll definitely be back when the humidor runs low.

One of the most impressive humidors I've ever seen. The new ownership has really made amazing improvements with only more to come. Staff is super friendly. Looks like some other reviews on the staff are just butt hurt racists.

Excellent selection with surprisingly reasonable prices. It can be a little challenging to get to from the East with the small turn indentation but worth the effort. One of several cigar stores by the same owner and they all seem to share an emphasis on good customer care.

Really good selection of cigars and cigarettes. But the best thing about this place is their golf simulator. It works on the true golf system, I own the optishot2 but its too cold to set up my simulator. So i thought that i would try theirs, well worth the money. I play for a living and know I why everyone is telling me to upgrade. Until I do, I will be using their system. Awesome setup.

Please do not ever go here, I'm just leaving this place with a police experience. I went into stogies with an open mind noticing the had a huge selection being a novice to cigars I asked some questions the man who later told me his name was Nick and the owner, was very rude and following about five steps behind me as if I was going to steal the whole time asking me to hurry up. I bought about $30 worth of cigars it was actually $21 worth of cigars but he overcharged me and then lied about it but seemingly I guess I"left" my wallet there unfortunately I live 45 minutes away but it was close to my work location and by that time I had gotten home I looked everywhere for my wallet I called them two times asking if it was there and by the third time I had scrounged my entire house I knew for a few hours I thought I might have left it which happened to be directly in front of the counter and out of nowhere apparently they sent it then the shorter gentleman said he found it on the floor so I don't know which one because I asked for my wallet and he said it was a $10 storage fee I was shocked and literally said I'm not paying that give me back my wallet he then said I'll do $7 for you buddy I thought it was ridiculous I said I'm coming to get it right now in an angry tone and hung up the voice 5 minutes later I received a call back saying"hey you can come get it as long as you come get it within 30 minutes".... I then arrived and was furious demanding my wallet saying it's illegal to hold on to my wallet much less the fact that he was following behind me and it magically went missing they then backtracked together and both said that they were joking I said which one each one looked at each other without an answer, the taller one who claimed his name was Nick then asked me to leave I said why would you do that do you think it's okay to take advantage of peeing customers his response was " because I don't like people like you, I think it's fine for me to do" I then asked him what his name was and if the owner was present he said I am the owner and my name is Nick I said really you don't look like a Nick and he said well my name is Nick... a few minutes of us going back and forth and starts telling me get the f out get the f out calling me a piece of.... I then threatened to call the police and as I threatened to call the police "Nick" says good I'll call them for you which then backfired because he tried to call them and hang up right away not knowing that the 911 system automatically calls you back so when he called back he thought it was a customer and then said no that was by accident so I decided to be smart and yell loudly so the police could hear and automatically send someone. The police sent someone they actually sent three squad cars they told me they'd be watching out for the place we all agreed that it was bad business practice and disgusting but nothing illegal I could true that the moment just very sad to see a good customer treated poorly stogies I will not be coming backoh and just for the record when I received my ID back my credit cards weren't in the order I put them in...

(UPDATING TODAY, 2/12/22) -- Just reminding everyone that they're gonna be moving a few blocks East up Lake St come May of '22, into the building on the northeast corner of Lake and Bartels. Otherwise, if my opinion could have changed at all since I first wrote this review, it's only gotten better -- I've gotten to know these guys a little bit more, and, much like when you're a fixture at a local bar or restaurant and the bartender/server sees you walk in and has your drink ready for you right as you're sitting down, these guys take the time to remember and take care of their regulars quite similarly. They know how to keep their customers happy, which is, well, obviously why I make the 25-ish minute drive out there, first of all, and secondly, why I took the extra 10 minutes to update my review when Google asked me to just now. So, there ya go! 😊LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I drive ALL the way here JUST to be able to use my digital cigarette coupons on TOP of their already lower than their DuPage County counterparts because they're the only place I've found who'll actually accept the digital coupons! The guys who own and run it now are friendly, helpful, and super nice, and as long as I'm still a smoker, this is where I'll be going for my cigs!
