I cannot say enough good things about the Uphoff family and their breeding approach. As a first time puppy owner it was important to me to ensure I am getting a puppy from a breeder who socializes all dogs in the family home. Caren and her parents came highly recommended by two local families, which is always a good sign. They have a decades-long breeding history and experience. I got both of my cockapoos from her. This is a small family breeder who raises truly amazing dogs. I get so many compliments on my dogs' temperament, health, and they are both great with kids and other dogs/pets. Really smart and cuddly and just what I was hoping for in a family dog. Thank you for giving me two family members and for making that anxiety-inducing first time puppy finding easy and safe. Update --- My puppies are now 9 and 6 months old and still healthy as can be and just getting sweeter by the day. Both Embark full genetic health tests came back with perfect results as well.

Buddy will be one year old tomorrow! Welcoming this adorable, healthy and happy little guy into our home was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The joy he brings us is palpable. Caron at Uphoff Kennel was highly recommended to me by a trusted friend. Caron was helpful, calm and kind. She was aware of what we needed to know about adopting a puppy. She provided us with direction and was (and continues to be) open to a continued dialogue to promote Buddy’s healthy, happy life. It is clear that she cares about the puppies. I 100% recommend Uphoff Kennel. I would adopt ten more puppies from Caron (if my husband would let me!).

Absolutely wonderful people to work with! We got our cockapoo puppy from Uphoff Kennel this spring. We had such a positive experience. They were very patient allowing us ample time to play with the puppies and answering all of our questions to decide who was the best fit for our family. Their farm is extremely clean and it’s obvious these puppies are very well cared for. I highly recommend if you’re looking to add a fur baby to your family. ❤️

Wonderful people and a wonderful puppy. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to get a pup. When we picked up our pup he had all the paperwork and vet documents that we needed and he has been great!! John and Elizabeth were super nice and helpful with anything we needed.

I got my sweet sweet cockapoo from John & Elizabeth almost 3 years ago. They are wonderful people and take such great care of the puppies before they are picked up by their new best friends. We have gotten two family members from Uphoff Pets and have been completely satisfied. Our first, a Cavalier King Charles, was an ideal family pet: healthy with a wonderful disposition. After she passed away, we knew we had to have another Uphoff Pet. We got our Cavapoo puppy and she’s just as lovable with a clean bill of health. Everyone who meets her wants to snuggle her! John and Liz are great people, and it shows in their animals.

Thirteen and a half years ago we purchased our Cavalier King Charles from the Uphoff Kennels. She had no health issues up until a year ago where she developed a heart murmur. She ended up passing away this year February 14th of unrelated natural causes..She was the most loving best tempered puppy. We feel Uphoff Kennels breed very good/healthy puppies. When we get over the worst heartache of losing her we would consider another puppy from Uphoff Kennels. We thank them very much for giving us Thirteen and a half years with our beloved Katie.

I purchased a Shetland Sheepdog from John and Liz back in June 2004. I was very young at the time (26 years) but they could tell I was trustworthy. They asked all the right questions. Sierra was a very healthy, beautiful dog and lived just 2 weeks shy of her 15th birthday; she passed away May 2019. Thanks, John and Liz, for the wonderful family member you produced for us!

They were very responsive with answering questions and keeping me up-to-date on everything. I was supposed to pick up a puppy from them on 11/11/2017. I got word on 11/6 that a virus went through the litter and the puppy I picked out had passed away. I am not sure how common this is, but I don't think its a good sign that an entire litter passed away from a virus.
