My go to place for everything I need hardware wise . The employees are very friendly and helpful.. top notch service.. If you can't find something 90%if the time pace has it or will be happy to order it for you if possible.. definitely five stars..

I bought a Troy Bilt trimmer that has never worked properly. It rarely starts, and it was new in the box. I went back the same day and even they observed that it wasn’t starting properly. I had misplaced my receipt and by the time I found it, they did not want to exchange it or replace it. I left my phone number and the cashier and her manager pretended they would convey it to the owner but nothing came from it. I won’t shop here again. They leave the quickrete outside in the rain, and still try to sell it. Same cashier, same date. Their bottled products have broken seals and some of the liquid is missing. I’ll drive to Collinsville before they get another dollar.Let’s not even mention how they follow you around the store. SMH!

The people who work at Pace True Value Hardware are very knowledgeable and friendly. If they don't have an item that you need, they will order it for you and have it shipped to their store. This place is really cool.

Try pace true value hardware first people, they have things other hardware stores just dont have. I cant tell you how many times I have been to both the large hardware stores and they did not have what I needed. But I finally learned my lesson go to Pace first because they will have it and it's a lot closer. They are family owned and operated and you dont have to chase someone down to help you, they come looking for you and even ask you when you come they the door fo you need any help finding what you need. No they are not pesky like some stores just eager to help you find what you need, I guess I must have that I need it now look when I go in. Because they always ask if I need help, just look at the specialty screw isle, they have it all!!

Usually always very helpful. Love the store. It's my go to. Three stars because I brought a storm door in to have the glass replaced with plexiglass and they said 1-2 days and it's been 5. Just called there and the guy said I'll try and get to it today. I already paid for it. Should be first priority. Don't say 1-2 days if it's going to be a week

Number #1 hardware store around. For the most part they have a very helpful & knowledgeable staff.. pretty organized store. Little higher in price but what's expected beats a 20 min haul to Glen Carbon/Collinsville. Be cool if they initiated some type of rewards program.. I may be unaware if 1 already exists.

Called to check on times because there closing times said 8pm bc we needed a light fixture mount. It was 7:30pm online says closes at 8. The rude lady on the phone says no we close in 10 minutes u will have to come tomorrow. No thank you I will never do business with this place again. I'm 100% for small business but this was rude and unprofessional. Also they are always more expensive.

I love going to this place especially on Thursdays because I get a 10% Senior Citizens Discount. But I think what I like the most is that I am supporting a locally-owned family business that has been in Granite City probably for over 50 years or more

This is the hardware store to go to. Period. Our city used to have a nearby chain home improvement store who has long since closed out because you just can’t beat these people! The staff is knowledgeable about most facets of home repair and can help you get what you need. My favorite thing about this store is that, while having a majority of normal, everyday items, they also have a lot of those obscure products, those things that you only need once in a blue moon but nobody else carries! Very seldom have they not been able to help me get what I need to finish a job. AND, I never feel like I have to empty my wallet to do so. Love this store and it’s people!

I bought a toilet from pace. It had a leak between the tank and bowl. Took it back 4 days later and they refused to do a refund because I used the wax ring. Well, how would I know of the leak if I didn't set the toilet? I offered to buy a wax ring but they still refused. I left the toilet there which I now regret. Now they will add a wax ring and sell a useless toilet to someone else. 3 days ago I emailed Pace directly and so far I have been ignored.

Best hardware store around if you don’t know how to find what your looking for they do, they have stuff I never even knew I wanted because I’ve never seen it at another hardware store. When it comes to crafting and you need screws/nuts/bolts/fasteners there selection is over the top, love it.
